However they do take walk-ins. The vibe is old NYC barbershop. It's clean with plenty of seating, great lighting. Each station is personalized by the barber. I highly recommend Alex. When I got here, I was taken right away, which was nice. Moving on with my review, my overall haircut was alright. The beard itself was thinned out nicely and even. The trim on my top, however, felt a little rushed. Don't mean to make a big scene, but I thought it was a little bit rude that my barber was off and on 50% of the time as he was engaging in side conversations. Then you find yourself in Ryan's chair, which is where it gets even better. I've seen him with other clients while waiting, and he's truly versatile- whether you want to just relax or talk it up, it's a tailor-made experience for you. Ryan's interesting- not just your blah-blah cliché conversation (like most everywhere else). Former New York firefighter, he's got that smooth talking, funny, 'east coast edgy-ness'- a genuine character. When I came out, he again accosted me about going to a Renaissance Festival, it scared my niece is so bad I called the cops Then what I presume is the manager decided to lie to the cop and speak to him, as if he was the one who spoke to me initially, when I corrected this with the police officer, he was reprimanded, and the police officer had to go and grabbed the original man. Needless to say, the only two individuals I've ever interacted in this place were condescending, and extremely rude. I don't know anybody that lives in Deerfield, but I will most definitely be telling everybody about this experience.

Here, he consistently gets a great cut and leaves feeling confident. The staff is professional, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about their customers. Recently, with their price increase, we were worried about affording both the haircut and tip. They showed us kindness and worked with us this one time, which meant a lot. My hairdresser did not want to do it. So, I fired her and found Patrick at this barber shop. FUN FUN FUN, they took me same day. Gave me an amazing pixie cut which I adore. It's me. Did the color too ( light brown) . Gave us wine, and great conversation. No stuck up Boca attitude just a cool place if you want short hair. We communicated our instructions clearly, emphasizing the need for a straightforward, child-friendly haircut. We also showed him a picture . Unfortunately, this visit turned into a distressing experience. While cutting my son's hair, the barber seemed more interested in watching TV than paying attention to his work. It was disheartening to see my little boy sitting there, visibly upset and holding back tears after seen the himself in the mirror. To make matters worse, the haircut turned out terribly--far from the buzz cut we requested. Instead of leaving with a fresh, neat look, my son left feeling embarrassed and unhappy. It's hard to believe that someone could disregard a child's feelings so blatantly. Adding insult to injury, the barber had the audacity to expect a tip after ruining my son's hair. I believe tips should be earned through good service, and in this case, it was completely unwarranted. We found this shop on google and it had 5 stars from 900+ people so we felt safe. However I believe that the barber we used and maybe few others are riding on the coattails of better-rated barbers that work at this establishment without really understanding the craft.
