The guys looked at both of them while I was there and were able to confirm that one was okay to shoot, but the other had a defect and did not recommend firing it. I am glad I went there, as I could have damaged that rifle and possibly injured myself. The guys at Northeast Arms have my loyalty and my respect. I was not aware of this and he told me that he "always says that on the phone". I chose not to argue, but I know for a fact I was not told that over the phone.
