It should get 0 stars, but it doesn't give that option. We were told that the two matching dressers that we purchased would be delivered within the week. When they were not delivered, each time that I called, I got a different excuse for the delay. The first excuse by the store owner was that the Labor Day holiday was the cause, even though Labor Day was the week after we were told that the dressers were to be delivered. When I wanted to cancel the order because we were misled about when the furniture would be delivered, I was told that the furniture was already being prepared and that we would have to pay a 20% penalty to cancel. We can't afford to pay 20% on very expensive furniture that we would not be receiving, so of course I couldn't cancel the order. After the delay continued into the second week, the store owner then blamed it on the manufacturer. I was told that they could deliver one of the matching dressers that same day, so that was delivered just a couple hours later (most likely the floor model that we saw in the store, for which we should be given a considerably lower price than what we paid). I was told that the other dresser was expected later that week. Then, at the end of the week, I was told that it was not yet ready and that it should be delivered the following (third) week. The owner responded to my Google review with the following inaccurate, misleading reply: "You purchased two solid-wood chests, and the first one was delivered and second chest is a special-order item and has taken longer to arrive." In fact, however, we purchased two matching dressers when we visited the store, so the second one is not a special-order item. It is the exact same item as the other dresser. Reading the reviews of other customers who experienced similar delays and excuses for what they ordered from Furniture 2000 has made us very uneasy about having done business with those people. I'm wondering how much more drama there might be by the time the other item is finally, if ever, delivered. read more

Refund received and the couch was able to be returned without a restocking fee so the credit card dispute was dropped. The manager communicated with me in order to arrange for the pickup and apologized for my experience. read more

I do not recommend this business. Paid a considerable amount for a couch that is nowhere to be found. Coming up on 2 months since purchase, was supposed to be in 2 weeks ago. I keep getting the run around from Fernando who always promises to call me back with an update , but never does. Blamed the issue on the manufacturer first, now it's the shipping company. Can't seem to get a straight answer. Called the other location to ask to speak to the owner, same sort of run around. With service like this I don't know how this place stays in business. Do yourself a favor and shop at a reputable dealer. Stay tuned for an update. I'm giving them another few days to make it right. Either I get my couch or I get my money refunded or we let the courts decide. What a shame. read more

We drove by this place many times but never got a chance to come in until we bought a new house. At first, the lady (I assume she's the owner) was really nice and gave us great recommendations. Couple days earlier, my parents came in to look at the couch and my mom does not speak English. So I told her my parents came earlier and she remembered them and she kept saying that she didn't understand my mom because she didn't speak English. She said that like 3 times and I honestly felt offended that she had to speak not one, but three times about my mom like that. But I let it go. Later we had some more questions and she started giving us some attitudes.First, I asked about the sectional sofa and I wasn't sure if it would be too long for my living room or not. So I asked for the price of the 2 sections plus the sleeper (whatever the L part called) so she gave me the price. Then I asked how much would it be if I added another section just in case it would fit my living room. She then said "go measure the room first." Excuse me?! I only asked for the price which she already had in her hand but she wanted me to go measure first?! But I was like whatever. I started to not like her very much at the time. Then my husband asked about how high the bed frame (on the catalog) is from the floor and she said she didn't know. He then asked if she could measure or find out for him, then she said "I'm not gonna do it." When I first heard that, I thought I misheard but I did not. Wow! She was SO RUDE. If she didn't know at the time, she could have said I don't know but I can find out or something along that line. At the time, we really started to NOT like her at all. We were actually planning to buy a couch (possibly two since our house has two living spaces), 2 bed frames, a coffee table, and a dining table but at that point, we didn't want to do business with her anymore. But since we were there, I wanted to ask how much discount can she give us if we were to get everything so I could compare it to other furniture stores. She then said 'make decision first then I can give you the discount' or something along that line. Like really?! Did she really expect us to just go with her without shopping around? Heck NO! She then went on to say her store is the oldest furniture store in the area but guess what? WE DON'T CARE!!! There're a lot of other furniture stores in the area so we did NOT need to buy from there! We decided to just get the full price for everything we discussed on a piece of paper from her (just her handwriting) and left to check out other stores. Please love yourself and go to other stores. We later went to Scandinavia and Sonoma Home Goods to check out their furniture and the service was WAY NICER AND SUPER PROFESSIONAL. They printed out all the measurements for us and the price which was super nice. And they're NOT pushy at all and the price from those stores are either comparable or LOWER. There's no way we'll go back to this store ever again. She already gave us so much attitude and she hasn't gotten our money yet. Imagine how much attitude she would give us or how bad the service would be after she receives our money. We could already tell that if there were problems after the purchase, this lady would not be willing to help us much. Sorry lady, you lost out on a lot of money from us since we were really planning to buy a lot of things from you. If you ever read this, if the customer asked for a discount, please be professional and at least say how much you could give us and it will attract us too if you say we can give you this much this count (plus you advertise the discount up to 50% so should not be HARD to tell us). We don't care if you may give us more discounts than other stores. We just want to do business with nice people. The way you said to us today will set off a lot of other customers and please do not talk to others about how someone cannot speak English. It's just plain RUDE. If you decide to give this place a try, I hope you work with her when she's in a good mood or may be find someone else to help you out!! One good thing about this place is they have a lot of options (but again, other stores also have a lot of options too ...). But to us, service is everything and if we can't ask all the questions we want, then it's not a place for us to shop. read more

A note to furniture salespeople: if you want to make the sale, don't follow me around and keep repeating my name. Don't try to sell me what's on the floor if it not what I want. Just tell me the price; don't tell me the price and say "Maybe I can 'do something' for you." Don't pressure me to buy at that moment if I'm not ready. We bought a sofa, recliner and love seat CASH, to avoid interest. We paid cash 3,700 and we are extremely disappointed with their service and quality. We got these right before Christmas last year. 2 days in of having them the love seat was lopsided already . We contacted the staff and someone said they would contact us to have someone come look at it. Waited patiently called in recently again, and was told they wouldn't know if it still covered because of how long its been but if they had come the first time we asked we wouldn't be here!! Completely forgotten about. You would think that because we paid cash they would've been more on it or at least put some effort. They don't seem to care . Extremely regret doing business with them. I had gone to Ashley furniture originally and had such a bad experience and as soon as I walked in my spirits were lifted. I have bought almost all my house furniture from this store and I have nothing but great things to say about the owners and my furniture. I love my couches they were the best price for such great quality. All of my children's beds and my bed were also purchased there. My kitchen table is beautiful and Hilda even gave me tips on what end chairs go well with the table, which I would have never thought of. I just recently went to buy another piece of furniture and like always they gave me a real good price for the quality. The owner's husband is a very nice man to deal with. I went in on a Sunday and he was working. He set us up with a l section couch, area rug, and dining room table. The total came out to $1100. The day of the delivery, their truck was having problems. The guy that I spoke with on the day of the delivery was not helpful at all in regards to having us move around our day because the furniture was not going to be delivered during the time frame. I work throughout the week, so does my fiancé, so when we get a weekend off together, we like to get out and enjoy the days with our step son. We had to cut our day short to accommodate their truck not working properly. We were not offered a discounted delivery fee, or a waiver of the delivery cost. When the delivery drivers came in, they brushed the couch across a tree, so when it was left in the living room it had twigs and brussels all over the back of it. We cleaned that off. They also brought the wrong area rug. They then asked me if I just wanted to keep it and bring it back to the store and exchange it. I live up a flight of stairs, no thank you. We no longer need the area rug, but we are not allowed to return the merchandise. If you want to go to this store, don't go on the day of the week that the other man is working. He is very rude and not willing to work with you. He also won't price match other competitors, but the owners husband will. He works on Sundays. All and all, I wouldn't shop here again, and in reality, there are other furniture stores that have way better prices. read more

This place sucks. The delivery was late an extra week. I ordered a bed frame and it wasn't the size they told me it would be. The owners husband kept giving me the run around and finally said you can come in and exchange it for something else. When I did come in his wife gave me nothing but attitude. She tried to say no exchange and was talking to me like I was stupid. We were having a full on argument. Very unprofessional! They have no sense of customer service. It's a shame that other customers didn't have a good experience because mine was excellent. I needed a twin bed and mattress for my daughter. For years she would point to the canopy bed displayed in their showroom window and tell me that it was the bed she always wanted. The day came to buy her a bed. I expected it to take up most of the day figuring I would want to shop around. They were offering no sales tax that day which was a plus. My daughter ended up choosing a different style called a Captains Bed. But before I made the decision I went on multiple websites like Wayfair, Overstock, IKEA, Crate and Barrel to compare prices. None of them could match the price of F2000! And their memory foam mattress prices were comparable as well. I had a very specific delivery date that I needed it by. It arrived on time and the delivery people set up her new bed and took away the packaging in less than a half an hour. I will definitely go back to Furniture 2000. I see that it says they are closed, I'm assuming due to the fires? I hope they reopen soon because we need to support our quality small business owners and keep our spending local. read more
