Needed to get a new mattress for my daughter since she had outgrown her old twin mattress. Spent many hours shopping at all of the mattress stores - Sleep Train, Mattress Discounters, Sears, Macy's etc, not being able to find anything and coming away disappointed. Went to Mancini's Sleepworld in Brentwood, Ca and was treated like garbage. Asian salesperson was a real jerk and treated my daughter and I with no respect whatsoever. I told him what my budget was and he bluntly said "we don't have anything in that price range". What an ass. I swore that I would never step into another Mancini's again after the way we were treated at the Brentwood store. Needed to have some service performed on my car in Tracy, Ca and near the shop, there was a Mancini's Sleepworld. I decided that since we still have not found a mattress, without any grand expectations, I walked into Mancini's in Tracy to just take a look. Wow! What a night and day difference between the Tracy store and Brentwood. Immediately when I walked in, I was greeted by Bill (who after speaking with him, used to be the manager of the Brentwood store, but now manages the Modesto store.) Even though they were busy, he immediately acknowledged me and made it a point to introduce himself, and showed that he was genuinely interested in assisting my needs and working with my budget. He showed me some different mattresses in the store and I able to select one that I liked. I stated that it was outside of my budget, but he said not to worry, we can work something out. With the store still busy, he had to leave, but he introduced me to Desiree, who happens to be the Tracy store manager and his wife. What a beautiful person! She mirrored Bill with respect to professionalism, courtesy and was very adamant about taking care of all of our needs. She was still busy with other customers, but she continued to acknowledge that I was still waiting, and went out of her way to make sure that I was comfortable and thanked me for waiting. When she had completed with her other customers, she was very helpful in assisting me with my mattress decision, and made me a deal I couldn't refuse. After my purchase she had arranged for delivery which was delivered on time and as promised, My daughter slept her first night on her new mattress and stated that it was the best night's sleep she has had in a long time. Desiree and Bill were wonderful, and their professionalism, salesmanship and kindness went above and beyond. My husband and I went furniture shopping for a new bedroom set on President's Day. We picked out a set we both liked, but because we decided to pay cash, we weren't going to order it or pay for it until that coming Wednesday. We then ended up at Bed Bath and Beyond looking for bedding which then led us to Mancini's Sleepworld as we were going to need a new mattress also. So glad we did!! Although we have visited Mancini's before and have always had great service with great pricing for what we were looking for in the past, this was our best visit yet. Mancini's in Tracy has a new Store Manager named Desiree McClamy and she has brought in a bigger selection of bedroom furniture, so we decided to look around. We found a set we liked, similar to the set we already picked out from the previous furniture store, but the price was much higher. Desiree not only matched the price of the furniture from the previous store, she beat the price by $200. This set also had a few extra amenities such as, the night stands light up from underneath with a simple touch to the side and the top drawer is a charging station for phones, ipods, etc. Completly thrilled, we also purchased a new foam mattress which we got a deal on too. Desiree was great, knew what she was talking about and showed us all the different options available to us. My husband and I went into this store to look and test new beds. Desiree the manager, was quick to assist. I immediately told her I'm not fond of salespeople following us around the store. She was sensitive to my comment, and let me know she was just there to help, and in a very gentle way commented "Buying a mattress really isn't a 'Self Serve' process." Desiree went on to find out what it was we needed in a mattress. In just moments she realized that my husband and I had 2 opposite needs for a mattress, and she began to show us what our options were. We feel in love with her recommendation, in fact my husband fell asleep testing the mattress! Ironically he had the remote control in his hand (I'm sure the remote is what sold my husband LOL). I have to say that the store manager, Desiree McClamy was the best to work with. My husband and I needed to upgrade and replace our mattress after approximately 15 years. We wondered into Mancini's Sleepworld in Tracy with the intention of just looking. The store environment was friendly, not pushy, and we were able to look around at our leisure. Desiree, the store manager, was helping several different customers, but she still acknowledge us, gave us pillow covers to try whatever bed we wanted, and answered our questions as they arose. She was polite, knowledgeable, and helped us to find the perfect mattress that fit our needs. She did not push one mattress over the other. She listened to us and then used her knowledge in the field to help us pick out the mattress that was best. Working with her was a great experience. We did make our purchase at that time and look forward to working with her to update our bedroom furniture also. A few years ago I returned to the states with nothing, but two suitcases of cloths. All my belongings were either lost or had to be left behind. One of the first things I had to purchase was a bed, Mancini's Sleepworld. Ten years later, I had the pleasure of buying three more beds over the years. The last was an adjustable bed. The salesmen, Larry, for all three transactions was so helpful, he took the time to explain the advantages and disadvantages of each mattress and adjustable bed. Recently, I was in need of a new mattress for the adjustable bed. I am going through difficult times, fighting cancer and heart issues, Larry, went beyond what any salesmen is expected. I have purchased several beds and mattresses from Mancini's and that is why I keep returning---they are good and stand behind their name. This time when I went in to purchase a bed it was actually for my foster son. They had a lot of beds to choose from, allowed him to tell them what type of bed and mattress he wanted, and talked to him not me(made him feel special he said). We actually were helped by Desiree who I must say was awesome. She helped us all the way thru the process and I even made a new bed/mattress for myself. If you decide to get a bed I say go to Desiree for help. I love the fact that they deliver and even ask when I want it delivered (I was able to make a decision on the date). I purchased my sons bedroom furniture here a year or so ago, and was in today to purchase a new bed set for my girlfriends daughter and both times I found a similar experience. Getting service can sometimes take some patience depending on how many other clients are in the store, but that is because when you do get that attention, it is yours, not shared with everyone else in the store. In both cases I was able to get exactly what I went there to buy, and got what I considered to be a real good deal on it, in this case about 40% off retail, better even than the advertised holiday sales price. When I was shopping for my sons furniture I looked all over looking for what we wanted, it took three days of looking until I walked into this store and found a wonderful set right away, this time I didn't bother, I just went straight to mancini's, and the next time I need bedroom furniture? We were interested in a foam mattress Costco had on sale, but after speaking to a Costco associate, we found the mattress didn't come with a box spring (they don't even have them to purchase), and the frame was not included. I called Mancini's and spoke with Desiree about their box spring pricing, and she said they were having a sale on some of their floor models. We went to Mancini's the next day and are thrilled with our customer service and purchase! Not only did we get to actually try out the bed we were interested in, for the same cost it would have been at Costco, we got a great mattress, box spring and frame. And they are taking our old box spring and mattress at no extra charge! Costco and warehouse stores are great for some things, but for something as important as a good, comfortable night's sleep, go by Mancini's. You won't be disappointed! read more

I've been shopping at Mancini's for over 6 years now. My 4 bedroom house is furnished only with Mancini mattress' and bedroom sets. I decided to go back again in July 2009 to look for another mattress for my 18 year old daughter whom got into a car accident in November 2008 and has had back problems since the accident. Domingo Vasquez was the gentleman who helped me and was very knowledgable and sympathic to the needs of my daughter. I decided to buy her the temperpedic (deluxe) to see if that will ease the pain. Although the temperpedic was a bit costly it was worth it. The mattress was delivered 2 days later and my daughter has NOT complained one time about back pains. This is definitely a "miracle" mattress. Well worth the money. I will continue to do business with Mancini's and Mr. Vasquez. He was wonderful to work with. read more

This is my third bed that I have purchased, but it will definitely be my last. you can have great product and great sales people. But if your customer service from the delivery/warehouse isn't great it can ruin a whole deal. I was called at 2:15 told they would be at my house between 3-5. I told them I was at hospital. They said don't worry we'll call 1 more time before we get there. NOT. Was told I had 15 minutes to get home. Had my neighbor open my home to allow for delivery. I arrived as they were leaving and was told that they wouldn't take my mattress/box springs and if I had a problem to call warehouse as they drove off. Called warehouse got nothing but was told the local store would call me. Still waiting and now I guess I can sleep on my front lawn. Thanks Mancini's read more

The sales people are awesome here! We are in the market for a Sleep Number bed, and decided to stop here on our way home. The sales manager is super nice(Desiree). She worked with us for over two hours, switched mattress around for us (also getting a adjustable bed) and gave great discounts !! We are getting a great deal, saving us over $3,000 from the Sleep Number bed, plus a new headboard!!! They were very patient with our three children as we tried out several mattresses. We are definitely going back to order a bunk/futon bed for my son. I would definitely recommend them over sleep train. Well my first transaction with them was a pleasant experience but a few months later the mattress I purchased began to sag. I called them immediately. I bought the unit on sale and after talking it over with my wife we decided to go with a larger bed and look into another style of mattress. Before letting them know I had called about my old mattress they made me a great deal on a cal king memory foam bed and box. Then after learning I had called they applied my money from the first purchase to the second with no hassle. Delivery was prompt. The we decided to buy a fancy frame and again Desiree was in her A game and got us another smoking deal. Desiree, the Store Manager will give you the greatest customer service possible. We purchased a mattress set about a year ago and we were unhappy because it was not an Eastern King, but a Cal King. This was our mistake and we were hesitant to complain after the return/probation period was over. A few weeks ago, my husband stopped in to speak to Desiree about this and she agreed we needed to do something...which she made happen and handled very professionally.
