I've been to the store on two separate occasions now, first back in February to order a sectional,…read morechair, and dresser and then earlier this month for a mattress and bed frame. Starting with the first experience in February, I needed a specific size and style of sectional to fit the space in our living room and the seasonal sales associate Kristen was amazing. We bought our home close to 5 years ago and only now have gotten around to replacing our old furniture, we've desperately needed a new sectional. We spent about an hour there debating the style, size, color, and details on the couch and Kristen was incredibly patient and had no problem looking up all the colors and styles and possible iterations for the sectional. We ended up ordering a beautiful gray fabric sectional with plenty of seating space that was custom, and so took a little longer to come in, but was totally worth the wait. We also ordered a swivel accent chair for our family room that is the perfect chair for sitting and enjoying coffee and a good book; was exactly what I was looking for. Our final purchase was a six-drawer wooden dresser for my son's room to replace a flimsy, broken piece from IKEA. This dresser is so well made I know it will last him until he leaves us for college :) The delivery was smooth and I have extra appreciation for the the delivery men who got stuck with delivering on a day we had a random downpour and the difficulty of getting the sectional to our back living room (we have an odd floor plan). I appreciated the service from my first experience so much that when I decided to replace my mattress and bed frame I headed back into Three Brothers to see what they had. This time Julia helped me and again, the customer service was excellent. Julia was also incredibly patient and went through the details of each mattress to help me decide which was the most comfortable and best suited for my needs. I spent close to an hour there trying out the various mattresses to see what felt the best before deciding on my final purchase which has copper coils inside to dissipate heat. She also helped me figure out which bed frame would work best as the bed frame we have now we had been purchased for our room in our old home and doesn't fit our current space well. The mattress and bed frame are due to be delivered in two days and I can't wait! I'll update after receiving those. I'm also looking to replace the furniture in my daughter's room and this time Justin helped us, and searched to find the very specific style my daughter is looking for and also helped through out the other purchases, again providing excellent customer service. If you're looking for new, quality furniture I can't recommend Three Brothers enough!

Great Sales... Terrible Service After the Purchase…read more My experience with Three Brothers Furniture started off on the right foot. When I was purchasing my furniture, the customer service was great -- especially from the wife, who was helpful and pleasant to work with. Unfortunately, everything went downhill the moment the payment was made. I spent $3,000 and still had to call repeatedly just to find out when my furniture would be delivered. There was never a clear date, no courtesy call the day before, and no proactive communication of any kind. Every time I followed up, I ran into the same issue: the owner's son answering the phone and speaking to me in a rude, dismissive, and condescending manner. He should not be the face of their customer service -- his attitude alone turned the entire experience sour. To make matters worse, the furniture didn't even arrive the way I ordered it. The only people who showed professionalism were the delivery drivers, who were courteous and respectful. The buying process was smooth, but once they had my money, the service completely fell apart. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Three Brothers Furniture.

It's so hard to find that kind of kindness and professionalism these days, and Sonoma Furniture is one of the few businesses I've found that really excels in every area. They're a local family business, and I always feel good supporting them instead of spending money at big chains. Businesses like this are exactly why shopping local matters. One thing that really stood out to me: I bought a chair online from a different manufacturer that Sonoma Furniture doesn't even carry, and the manufacturer sent me a taller replacement cylinder for it. I didn't want to hire a handyman because I wanted someone who actually knows furniture to do it properly, so I asked if they could help. I even offered to pay, but Kirk, the owner, replaced it for me as a favor. That kind of generosity and customer care is incredibly rare. Fairfield was close. We were in heaven when we walked through the door. Rick was fabulous. I have a very fragile back and my daughter has issues with hers. Rick knew right where to begin to look. I ended up buying the first mattress that he had me try and my daughter bought the second. For her it was a hard choice. We also ended up getting pillows that have been a godsend. The first night we slept on our new mattresses with our new pillows was a night from heaven. My 30 pound dog loves making the bed with me and the cat sleeps all day on my daughter's bed with his toy. We ordered new mattress protecters through your store and are thrilled with their performance. Can't say enough good things about Rick and the store. Wow what a bad experience! I put down 1000 on a sectional and three twin bed frames. It came up to…read more2000 but with the down payment it left 1000 dollars. They did explain that it can be paid off in three months interest free, but you have to call the finance company. So OK my bad I didn't look at the contract fully at the time, but when I did OH MY GOD! 115% APR AND MY CREDIT SCORE IS ALMOST 800. So needless to say I looked for the finance company number that the man highlighted and of course it was the number to get a credit report. So I went down to talk to them and that didn't come out right. I told them I would not buy three beds but one the sectional was 895 the three beds was 339 without box spring and mattress. So I said I would give them what is owed on the one bed that was being used that they delivered (they only delivered two of the three beds and the sectional had to be delivered twice because they messed that up too) they charged me more. I would have to pay 500 or 485 for a twin frame! So I said I just want the sectional and they charged me 200 more! They won't give deals on their furniture if you buy a lot they say that they won't make any money off it, but charge you a arm, leg and three teeth when you don't want it. Man they have lost my business for real. Don't go there please don't or 115% and the other company they charge 185% APR. So I'm going to Ashley Furniture at 30% APR. Good credit gets you nowhere
