Overall horrendous and unprofessional service. They were very rude to me and the mover's damaged my property inside my home. While, they were setting up my new bed and mattress they damaged my walls and picture frames. He walked us through our choices giving us need to know information in a very methodical manner. The bed was to be delivered out of state to a very remote are in west texas. There were delivery issues because the warehouses could not deliver the mattresses to where we lived. Ended up getting them 3 hours away and we agreed to pick them up from there. Great service every time I come to visit, especially during the pandemic! My parents visited to inquire getting a new queen bed and bed frame. They finally wanted to get a bed in over 20 years. They were helped by Kerkula the first time then they came back to purchase their bed and he was very knowledgeable and inviting and since I came in a little later he went through everything thoroughly and let my parents try everything out prior. I noticed they sanitized in between customers. Everything was pretty clear and we didn't have any issues when the bed got installed either. Fast forward to registering my parents mattress to tempurpedic and getting a BOGO special. I checked it out online but decided to call and ask if they would accept the special and a plus is trying out the pillows. I spoke with one of the workers on the phone and she said that I can try the different kinds of pillows and they had them available. I was looking for a tempurpedic cloud pillow because I wanted to feel like I was sleeping on a cloud. I got there and was helped by Mirko and he knew exactly what I wanted. We've been in need of a new mattress for a while now so I turned to yelp for help and noticed the 4.5 rating at our local Mattress Firm right here in the V so we decided to walk in and check it out. So many mattresses! So many options! Which one are we supposed to pick?!?!?!? Haha! Luckily, we were greeted by Kerk who helped us make the perfect purchase. He catered to our needs and asked all the right questions to help us make the the mattress choice that worked best for us. He was never pushy nor demanding. Working with Kerk was a very pleasant experience! He gave us plenty of time to discuss our decision and never rushed us. When showing us multiple mattresses, he never put one brand over the other. He simply showed us why which mattress was designed the way it was and let us choose based on what we felt worked best for us. We took a while to make a decision and narrowed it down to Purple vs Tempur-Pedic. We ended up going with the latter and we can't wait for it to be delivered. My advice when mattress shopping: 1) Visit Mattress Firm in Vallejo! Kerk is awesome and so is everyone else! The other associates were super friendly as well. Beware that they are not forthcoming in their return policy and even if you have "manager approval" they will not honor their policy. We decided to go from a tempurpedic to a hybrid bed and then wanted to switch back to a tempurpedic about a month later (note the new mattress we picked out was $2400 MORE than the one we tried to exchange). They told us when we bought the mattress about the 90 day no questions asked return policy which sounded great! The delivery guys came to exchange mattresses and found a spot about a centimeter in diameter of unknown origin (could very well have been there then it was delivered) and refused to take the mattress. Having no idea this would even be an issue, I got the stain off with a little water, called the manager of this store, sent in the attached picture as instructed and got manager approval to trade in the mattress. They can back two days later and the delivery guy went over the mattress again with a flashlight claiming there was "slight discoloration" and they refused to take it AGAIN. Please keep in mind the exchanged mattress plus difference of the new mattress means we would have spent $5000+ on this new mattress (not to mention the other 3 mattresses we've purchased there in the last 2 years). They've lost our business for good. read more

The good Good selection of mattresses, knowledgeable and accommodating salespeople. No pressure, no bait and switch. I wanted to try out the purple mattress-it was there. Tried another one similar but supposedly better, but wasn't as nice feeling. Salesperson did get me a better adjustable base than I was going to get. However, "Better" adjustable base (mattress firm product) had issues on delivery--see below. The bad/awful Delivery people were not English speaking. Consequently, the headboard bracket was not installed nor even provided, the base was placed in wrong position; the legs were screwed into the wrong holes, the mattress height was not adjusted correctly. Subsequently the headboard bracket was obtained (at no cost) but the fasteners to fasten to the frame were not in the package. Follow up call to the store was less than respectful and the person on the phone was ill informed. Later the delivery people showed up looked at the bracket and confirmed, need fasteners; 2 hours later a bag of fasteners showed up, but were the wrong thread. I probably woulda been happier ordering on line and getting the name brand adjustable base. read more

My mom and I came to this location because she needed a new mattress after so so many years with her old mattress. This was a Saturday Morning. I chose this place because it was close to her house, she can try out the different mattresses, knew they would deliver, and pick up her old mattress. There were a few customers shopping. We were greeted promptly by Oliver. He was very nice. He asked all the right questions to help gauge what my mom wanted and needed. My mom was not that picky. She just wanted a "Firm" mattress at a good value. Oliver took his time and showed my mom several mattresses in the store. Oliver brought her a pillow and guided us to each mattress for her to try. Oliver made sure to stay with the mattresses closer in price and value we asked for. I did ask him to show us a higher end mattress just for comparison. For each mattress, Oliver explained the benefits and build as well as checked on the availability. He was very patient with my mom and answered all our questions. Also a plus, he spoke Tagalog. So then it made it even easier for him and my mom to communicate. She ended up with her top choice that was delivered the next day. Oliver detailed the steps for delivery. This made it easy for my mom since I was not able to be with her during the delivery. The delivery was on time. The called prior to arrival. They set up her mattress carefully. They even put on the protective cover for her that we bought from Oliver. They took away her old mattress. This was a great experience.
