This is an old cemetery from the 1800s and does have some notable local names buried here. Though…read moreit may have been located off the beaten path a long time ago, it is now surrounded by a local golf course. The cemetery itself is quite small, probably less than 50 feet in either direction and sadly it's quite overgrown within the perimeter. The best way to gain access is to park at the church which sits not far from the golf course and walk down Lexington Street to the small road that leads into the golf course. The cemetery is surrounded by a new tall perimeter fence and is locked to restrict access. It is also surrounded by an old iron fence within the perimeter. I have to admit I've never done a cemetery review and I noticed there is no Yelp review of this…read morehistorical cemetery located near the center of Manor. The historical plaque posted at the entrance is well worth reading as it highlights the history of this resting place. The oldest person I could find interred here was born in 1796. The newest decedent that I could find deposited here died in 2022. The cemetery is fairly full but it looks like there's enough space left for another hundred plots. This is a nice quiet place to visit in spring time when the bluebonnets and other flowers are in bloom, although the noise of 290 can still be heard. There were many graves dedicated to the Woodmen of the world which may have been a trade union at the turn of the 20th century. There was even a confederate war memorial. So if you want a peaceful place to stroll amongst the formerly living or perhaps be interred here yourself, it's an easy place to walk through. I'm sure the local funeral home can give you the going rate for a plot here.

My wife has severe anxiety, Emily was extremely understanding, helped her stay calm throughout the walking tour, and gave our family an unforgettable experience. I couldn't thank her enough for everything she did. I highly recommend checking out these Caves, and if you have the gumption to get muddy, spring for the Wild Cave Tour. Either way you go, it's a great experience!

Caves are so interesting and there is so much to learn about them . Longhorn Cavern offer 3 different tour options. The cavern walking tour is just like a casual walking tour. The black light tour is where you wear hard hats and walk with a light. The Wild Cave tour is for the extreme explorers who are okay with tight spaces . I chose the cavern walking tour. I highly recommend shoes that have a tight grip. The gift shop has really good options for keepsakes. Also, if you get thirst drinks are available to purchase. I saw a section for pizza, but it was sold out. I had amazing time during my visit. The cave is beautiful and there is so much to see.

It was the perfect place to hang with my girls and the option to mingle if you wanted to. I didn't and Ramon was great about docking us at the perfect spot to feel a part of the scene but just hang with my crew. We had such an amazing time on Lake Travis thanks to Willo and Float On. Everything about the…read moreexperience was extremely streamlined from booking to filling out waivers to navigating to the marina. Willo gave superb instructions on operating and piloting the boat including an overview of relevant customs and laws while out on the water. Our group had six adults and one 2-year old and they had plenty of water safety devices for all ages. On a side note, it was wonderful to see how genuinely excited Willo was about Lake Travis once again having a healthy water level after several dry years. In terms of our experience on the lake, we got excellent advice on where to travel based on our team's interests and after following his directions it felt like we had arrived on our own private lake. We probably only saw a handful of other boats during our 3-hour excursion and that was only in passing. The boat came with a Garmin GPS that made it really easy to retrace our steps. For those wondering, there was excellent cell phone service out on the lake and we were able to use our phone GPS, make calls, and stream music. The boat had some nice integrated speakers with Bluetooth connectivity and we were able to jam out to our own tunes. There was also a cool flotation device attached to the back of the boat called the Aqua Lily Pad which we unrolled after anchoring, we had multiple adults laying on it without sinking into the lake. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience and we would highly recommend booking with Float On.

We sat in the 200s and had a great view of the events and musical performers. The beer vendors were plentiful. The line for refreshments, merchandise and bathroom were all short. The restrooms were cleaner than you'd expect for a rodeo. Outside, the carnival was setup in a way that there was plenty of room for people to walk around. The only downer is that it's a pretty good trek from parking to expo center but parking only cost $5. I don't know what other events are held here but based on this experience it's a good spot to be for spectators.
