The last two times I've been there they have been out of CRULLERS! Now it's one thing that they ran out for the day. But it's totally different that they didn't get any in which is what I was told. They have great stuff when they have it but you can't depend on that anymore. Why go back if it's just a roll of the dice if they have crullers. Thus is for sure, we've been going there as a family for 25 years and in the last 2-3 years their supplies are out of wack. read more

I MUST say, the MENASHA location deserves MORE than 5 stars for their extraordinary customer service!! Every staff member there, every time I go there, are extremely friendly; more than they need to be!!! They go out of their way for every customer who walks in and while they're in the bakery store!!! I find it to be sooooo worth it to drive out of town to Menasha for the extraordinary customer service experience!!! This location is my go to bakery store!! Don't go anywhere else to get yo donuts {and other delicious baked goods! Like breads (sampled the twice baked potato loaf and surprisingly tasted JUST LIKE IT), cinny rolls, cakes, cookies, etc etc.}Every time we're like "oh man Manderfield's is closed but we're really craving donuts let's go to festival/picknsave" we slap ourselves and say "NEVER AGAIN" (but it will happen and then #repeat). Seriously though, best bakery in the area and we've learned to wait - even if it's months! - to go here instead of subpar places. AND, it's inexpensive. Got a birthday cake from here and it was so beautifully decorated and looks a lot more expensive than it was. Serves 8-10 people I think and was around $18. Yes you can get the same size cake at a grocery store that's less expensive but I guarantee it won't be as pretty or taste as good. This was super moist and not too rich. I wish I remembered the name of the cake (it's one of their premade ones that they just wrote on) for the sake of the review, so just reference the photo! So well done. Where do you start? Man, this stuff is good. We don't have many of these true bakeries back home so when a coworker from the area mentioned it, I figured I'd try. They have maple bacon doughnuts folks. Enough said? Their donuts are massive. If you're from the East Coast, you know we have Dunkin Donuts. Maybe a few small bakeries but nothing like this. Simply awesome. Super nice folks and tons of flavors to try. It's a bit overwhelming as it seemed like the doughnuts were spread throughout a very long display case in the front as well as on racks behind the display, so it was hard to figure out what I wanted because they were mixed in with cookies, muffins, etc. I finally decided on a pre made mixture as I really couldn't tell what was what. Not sure if the locals are just used to their layout but I just didn't know what was what. The pre made box was awesome but definitely felt like I overlooked some tasty varieties as I really could tell where things were. read more

My absolute favorite bakery. Getting 4 stars because they are still using styrofoam and that has got to stop, otherwise they'd have 5. Best donuts ever!!! I've been getting them since I was a child and every time I'm home we stop. Their breads and strudels are great too as are their peanut bars. I'm drooling just thinking about it. I was happy to see some gluten-free offerings last time too since this is my only gluten cheat and it's worth it. read more

This was the worst experience ever, there was mold on my DOUGHNUT I was so upset and to day was national doughnut day and I decided to take my daughters for a treat and the woman Stacy was the rudest person to talk to me all day. Super little local bakery. They have every baked good imaginable - turnovers, bear claws, donuts, breads. The space isn't big but it's well stocked. We got a pecan Kringle, which was so, so good - light and flaky pastry, crunchy pecans, drizzled with glaze ... Yum! it didn't last long. Out of all of the variety of donuts I've had in my life, Manderfield's Bakery has to have some of the best, most fresh donuts and pastries ever.
