Three employees greeted me with friendly smiles the moment we walked in: Nice! I got a medium latte and a medium coffee and it was eight dollars. I almost grilled her on how she only charged me for one coffee. Nice price! Plenty of seating, plenty of sugar-free syrups, some muffin type food to buy, smoothies, kombucha on tap. On warm days, the outside seating is among the nicest in the city and it's a great place for a morning coffee indoors, and the service is terrific. Good coffee, too. read more

This is the best coffee in this area, they could use better and fresher breakfast options. The staff is hard working, the shop has a good atmosphere to hang out in, and I enjoyed my iced honey lavender latte. Cute coffee shop, with nice vibes all around! This is just as good as any ma and pa big city coffee shop. I stopped here twice while I was in town for Big Turn Music Fest! Both times I got lattes (1 soy, 1 Almond Milk) that were both delicious and served with a smile! The baristas were all super nice and so was the vibe of the coffee shop! The music filled the room in the evening of the festival.. Comfy chairs full, or patrons enjoying a warm coffee with warm tunes! In the afternoon the next day there was no music happening yet but the vibe was still great.. People working on laptops or reading the newspaper. We popped into Mandy's for a coffee at the start of a date night because we were early for our dinner reservations across the block. The Carmel latte I got was perfect, not too sweet, and very creamy. I loved the comfy chairs to sink into and casual atmosphere while we killed some time. Bonus: the greeting card selection! Once I started to read some of the hilarious messages I couldn't stop and also couldn't choose so ended up buying a bunch. THE best coffee shop we've been to. Period. We ordered the breakfast sandwiches on biscuits and they were divine. My kids ordered muffins. The coffee, service and food were all phenomenal. It was extremely busy as well with locals. Tons of seating, comfy chairs, a patio and a neat little book nook where you can buy a book for cheap and get $$ off your next Mandy's purchase. We will definitely try to return here as often as we can. read more

Mandy's is one of those places that's easy to like. Well organized and appointed with art, furniture and table seating (outdoors in warmer weather too). The staff always make me feel welcome and comfortable. The beverage menu is diverse (The Iced Vietnamese Coffee is a personal favorite) and the modest food options are quite tasty. It feels spacious and accommodating which I appreciate during these uncertain times of Covid-19. read more

Stopped in here Saturday to fuel up for some hiking. Really nice atmosphere inside with a lot of space and places to sit with many secluded spots (would be ideal to study/read). The coffee was excellent! Quality and perfectly brewed (not too weak or strong) but the roast beef sandwich lacked flavor, so couldn't recommend the food based off this single visit, but would give it another shot in the future. I stopped in to meet a client for a quick breakfast meeting. Staff was courteous and greeted me upon opening the door. I was hit with a waft of great strong coffee aroma on entering. I ordered a cafe au lait and it was properly prepared and the coffee tasted great. They've got free internet and plenty of space to sit and work, relax, etc. They've got a couple of paninis and soups of the day and are connected to a restaurant/cafe seated area to the right of the coffee. Overall, definitely a place I would come back to for good coffee and food that looked pretty good. A+ recommended! read more

I love Mandy's. Best one pump lavender latte anywhere! When I visit Red Wing, this is one of my haunts. Great people watching. Seems like a local hang out place, attracting all kinds, moms with kids, senior klatschers, solo sippers. The atmosphere is clean and cozy, with plenty of seating. I've meant to try the soups, but never have, but they rotate and I'm sure are house made. Sorry this last time around that I didn't try the chicken pot pie soup, but I did have a cardamom roll from the sweets case, briefly warmed . . .oh, my, was that good discreetly dunked into my latte. This place is absolutely adorable. 1. I am very picky about my food , not the kind of picky where I can't have mushrooms touching my potatoes, picky as in the quality and creativity of the food. They don't just do the normal coffee shop food, it's actually quite good. I would actually consider their food resturaunt quality. I'm not sure if they scratch make it though. But they always have changing menus, which has impressed me! 2. Coffee is great, never disappointed. 3. Atmosphere is cute and filled with local artist's work. 4. Since they have nitro coldbrew, I expected organic drip coffee- it is not organic. Muffins were good but sugary- tuna sandwich was not. Grilled cheese was better. Very limited GF options (2 items had xanthum gum and were prepackaged). Sandwiches served with vinegar chips. Atmosphere ok. read more
