My daughter ordered tacos and paid for hers then I ordered brisket mac & cheese and beans. It was 19 bucks I rounded up to 20. My daughters came in a container that had a lid. Mine was just an open boat shaped container, which was fine until I realized it was so heavy. I couldn't eat all the food, but didn't want to throw the rest away since it was spendy. My daughter suggested I go ask for the same type of container she had. When I did, the guy who was in the window (owner) was super crabby. I asked if I could get a container to bring the rest of my food home like my daughter had and mentioned she had ordered the tacos and had a different container that had a lid. He seemed super confused so I kept trying to nicely explain that the container that the tacos come in is the container I would like in order to bring the rest of my food home. He kept offering me the same container I already had which is an open boat shaped container. That wouldn't work because I needed something enclosed so it wouldn't spill, etc. When I realized he didn't seem to wanna give me that container, I offered to buy that container the tacos come in, and he still didn't seem to understand or was just simply not going to give me that type of container (I'm guessing because the cost is high and he needed them for other orders? Hence the reason I offered to buy it) He then rolled his eyes and shook his head at me as he kinda turned away, and I just said never mind and walked away as I mumbled "glad I tipped you". These people are cranky and rude! I would never go back even though my daughter enjoyed the tacos. Mine was very ok. The meat was OK some parts were moist and some were dry and chewy. The mac & cheese was overcooked so much that you couldn't identify what type of noodle they used. I totally understand that it must be hard to get that right and have that keep for so long, etc. The beans were good! The fact is, I would never have written this review if they weren't so rude about asking for a container! I even offered to pay for it. What was your problem with either giving or selling me a container that the tacos go in for the leftovers that I had? So bizarre.

I don't remember their exact prices. Some of the things I ordered had masking tape over the prices, with new prices written on them. When she told me the total, I was shocked, but I also had a full cart of plants to bring home and people behind me. I was charged $4.62 for the elote, $4.16 for the taco and $15.00 for a "machete", which was the most expensive thing on their menu, and not what I ordered. I thought maybe the prices for each item included the tax, but no. There was a separate tax charge, as well as a 3% surcharge for using a credit card, which was not mentioned anywhere on their menu. My final bill for a taco, ear of corn and quesadilla was $30.66. Also, the carne asada was flavorless, other than the raw white onions. The elote was delicious and I haven't tried the quesadilla yet.
