Yum yum. Mandy's is the perfect place your daily lunch. The salads are what I like to call a "fun salad" because they are so delicious you don't even feel like you are eating a salad at all. My personal favorite is "the fave" which has the perfect combination of fresh ingredients (broccoli, arugula, romaine, carrots, parm, avocado, corn) and a delish dressing. I come here with my father who loves to chow down on a good mid afternoon snack. He was thoroughly enjoyed the energy balls and cookies that Mandy's has. read more

The place oVery nice but they are very disorganized and make sure you prepared to pay $25 for a salad My wife order the protein salad and they had no hard boil eggs so they gave her tuna and wanted to charge an extra dollar. I ordered the Cobb salad and they had no egg or bacon so they offered me chicken . The salad came with egg and bacon no chicken. They messed up the order . So we had to wait another 15 minutes. I stood at the counter ready to order for a solid 7 minutes watching the girls behind the counter talk amongst themselves before I got fed up and asked if I was in the right spot to place my order and only then she took my order. Like seriously? If I hadn't said anything how much longer would I have been standing there before they even acknowledged me? I was going to stay there to eat but I felt so unwelcome I took my 30$ salad and left. Besides that, the salads and ambiance are great, but the terrible service makes me not want to go back. We had a potluck and someone ordered 2 large bowls of salads from Mandy's. The salads came with the dressing bottles separately so you can pour your own and the salads stay crisp. They were ridiculously expensive (I saw the receipt stapled to the bag) but they were the most delicious salads I've ever eaten! Oh how happy you made me old Mandy! I did not realize the Barry Manilow was referring to this wonderful little joint when he wrote his classic ode to Mandy! This is a great salad joint. I eat here once or twice a year whenever land in this town of Montreal. The salad helps to balance out the Poutine and Chien Chaud Michigan at Lafleurs, or the Schwartz's smoked meat Sammy. Mandy's is a staple Montréal salad place. I was a huge fan of their salads until I discovered other salad bars that are more generous, less crowded and cheaper in Downtown Montréal. Despite that, the DDO Mandy's is my favourite location of theirs. It is never too crowded and they have all the options you would expect from the ones in Downtown Montréal. The whole place's setting is absolutely beautiful, from the tables to the ceiling to the tree in the middle. Their seating area is also better than the ones on Crescent and Sherbrooke and way bigger. The employees are very nice, except when they welcome you in English. I understand that this is DDO, but still, they should make an effort to speak French especially when they welcome their clientele. My go-to plate when I go to Mandy's is The Wolfe salad. It fills me up but I don't feel disgusting after. I've also tried the Habibi salad, the Tokyo salad and the Lumberjack one. I always go back to The Wolfe salad after all. They have all kinds of drinks as well. I've tried a lot of different Montreal kombucha brands thanks to Mandy's. They also have Lacroix cans, Boxed Water and all sorts of lemonades and juices. Their smoothies are good but a tad overpriced. If you want to try a dessert, I'd recommend trying the bars they have. I believe they sell Midday squares, go Macro bars and others. I would recommend Mandy's once in a while for a good salad, but do not think that this is the only salad bar in Montréal because other places are cheaper and give you more options. read more

Mandy's always serves delicious salads. They have so many varieties, ranging from meat salads to vegan ones. You can even create your own. There's a menu on the wall behind the counter, but don't stop there! Way more is available on the physical menu. I had gotten the vegan tofu salad, which was delicious. Also, the decor is cute and welcoming. The only downside is that the salads are overpriced. read more

Always been a fan of Mandys , amazing choice of Ingredients always fresh and tasty. Only concern is Their portions are getting smaller and smaller IMO. Paying 27$ for a salad over Uber eat is a rip off - not considering the container is so small it's hard to mix the salad well to enjoy the full experience We order from them time to time while at work in the office and we all get frustrated on how the package is so tiny and it's impossible to mix it all. I'm sure DDO residents are elated that their beloved salad restaurant has finally arrived. This locations is located in the Marché de l'Ouest strip mall with easy parking directly in front. The inside is pretty beautiful, similar design to the other locations. The marble tables and big tree in the centre of the place makes it feel like the upscale salad experience it truly is. Now I'll admit, the salads are very good. They are, however, overpriced. The ingredients they use are high quality though. I ordered the Raegan-Danielle Extraordinaire and added chicken to it. That is my usual order but I think I might have to change that after trying my mom's salad. She had the Seared Tuna salad with a generous portion of perfectly seasoned tuna. Unfortunately that salad was 18.99 + tax. Seeing as it is more of a counter place rather than a sit down resto, the price point is a bit high for me. Ordered online as my young children were with me! I arrived a few minutes early and was greeted by what appeared to be young, rude teenagers! I waited an additional 12 minutes (I was counting as my children were growing very impatient, which is why I ordered in advance to avoid standing around waiting) from my original pick up time. I stood there while the kitchen staff joked around with the servers, neglecting to simply assemble my salad!! Each minute that went by, I grew more frustrated. It left a bad taste in my mouth. The salads are great but the service is ridiculously bad. i Ordered by phone and she said 20 minutes And they would text me when it's ready. Waited 20 minutes then she it will be another 15 minutes. I waited, and then she told me there was no time frame. It's been an hour and 20 minutes and I still have not got a text.
