She now charges about $60 for a regular maintenance (wash & retwist) and the price for a style depends on the type. She didn't ask me how long our loc's were like some people in this area do, when actually all you are retwisting is the root of the hair and palm rolling the rest. This made my man even more comfortable to go to her since his loc's are longer than mine. For the gentleman reading this review my man was also able to get lined/shape up ($10) by one of the barbers out of the three that were working at the time and I was able to get my nape area cleaned up as well. This shop is open 7 days a week, which is a plus for my man & I. Needless to say I think we have found a permanent barber & loctician that is closer to our home. Yeppie.

The overall look of the salon was clean and nice but this specific person's work station was dusty and full of hair like they didn't clean it for a long time. I haven't tried the bundles yet (because I already had hair before I made the appointment), but the Brazilian Island Wave and Indian Steamed Curl are right up my alley and next on my list. When I finally went to go see my grandma in New York who's been a hairstylist longer than these girls been walking, she agreed that they butchered my hair.
