Only half the power was getting to the house. A call to the PUD and very prompt response (and at no cost to me) finally fixed the issue. The lesson? Didn't want to call any of the locals, so my wife said, "Hey, there's a new sign out on Sandridge at Pioneer. Coastal Electric or something." So I drove out there, snapped a picture of the sign and called. Someone answered! Yeah, I know, a local contractor or business actually answered the phone? Hard to believe, but it happened! This was on a Monday. Terry was very personable, listened to my problem and said, "Yeah, I'll be in the area Wednesday. How about first thing? Does 9 AM sound good?" I responded, "Great." If you've lived on the peninsula for any amount of time, you won't believe what happened next. Terry showed up promptly at 9 AM Wednesday!
