The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a traditional beer garden--communal tables, great beer, and a fun, relaxed vibe reminiscent of the beer gardens in Germany. It's self-service and cash only: pay first, pick your mug, then get in line for your pour. They also have food windows, although we were here just for the beer. Parking tip: they validate your parking ticket when you buy your beer, so don't forget to get it done! Definitely worth a stop when you're in Salzburg.
