Overpriced mediocrity. We ordered one chicken shawarma. It took 20 minutes to make, which makes sense if there were tons of people. But there was no one there... zero. Were they chasing down the chicken they had to kill? When it finally came, we thought they gave us the wrong order because the shawarma was the size of an egg roll - for over $12!!!! To add insult upon injury it was flavorless. The toasted bread was nice, but that's about it. Do not try this place. Their pictures are complete exaggerations or stock photos. Honestly, their picture on their menu look a lot bigger than what they serve and it's the biggest scam. Nothing was spectacular about this place. The 1 thing they got right was that I asked for my steak kabob medium and it was still pink inside. The side salad I got... was barely there... maybe the staff ate some of it? My husband got the gyro wrap and it was the saddest thing ever... it barely had any ingredients. The women that was prepping food had all of her hair in her face... which may explain why we have extremely small portions.... She couldn't see past her hair. I've been to the Anaheim packing house quite a few times and on a visit with my cousin I wanted to try something different. I have never had shawarma before so I got the chicken shawarma wrap combo. The employee at the cash register was ver nice. He gave me a free sample of their strawberry lemonade before I ordered which was really refreshing. I didn't have to wait too long for my food. I was sitting with my cousin at a table in Georgia's since she got food from there, which is right next to this place. My food came in a to go container, even though I never specified I wanted it to go, but it worked out in the end because I had some leftovers to take home. I ate some of the fries first and they were super crispy even though they were pretty thick. I really liked the seasoning on the fries as it added an acidic taste to an otherwise rich starch. The wrap was really tasty. The chicken had some great seasoning on it and the pita wrap was thin but had a good bite. I don't really like pickles but the pickles in this wrap went really well with the chicken and other fresh veggies. It was a really good lunch and I'll probably come here again the next time I go to the packing house. read more

I had the gryo, and my wife had the chicken skewer. Both were great. Chicken breast was moist and gyro was seasone perfectly.

TLDR: Maybe serve what you have advertised or at least let the customer know if something has "run out"?? At least McDonald's lies to me that the ice cream machine is broken & doesn't take my money only to hand me an empty cone. -Ordered a falafel sandwich around 7:30pm (prime dinnertime). The menu states that it's a falafel pita with tahini, lettuce & tomato. -Waited 15 minutes only to receive smashed falafel rolled in pita bread with nothing else. Note: not the size of a typical sandwich/wrap, but the size of a Taco Bell Meximelt I went back and asked them about the rest of the sandwich, the cashier added a few pickles and said and they don't have any chopped lettuce/tomato ready. So yummy i started eating before i could get a picture! The rice was the best rice i have ever had, it had a mild flavor with an amazing seasoning on top that top it to the next level. The chicken was perfectly cooked and extremely flavorful and I enjoy how they take the skewer out for you. Their hummus is made fresh daily and the employee was able to list off the ingredients to me so it seems their food is very fresh and not pre made. Their baklava was also amazing, the chocolate was my favorite it's very unique. The cashier was super friendly and so was the manager/owner. Pretty legit spot! My wife and I share a chicken shawarma wrap combo and we were surprised with the size! It was cut in half and it was still a huge split between the two of us. It was served with yummy garlic sauce, pickled veggies, and delicious chicken shawarma. Yum! They are located on the top floor of the Anaheim Packing House. Their seating is exclusive to them, so you don't have to spend time trying to find a seat amongst the masses. We enjoyed our chicken shawarma combo; it was a good size to split between us. Tried two plates and thoroughly enjoyed both. First we got the falafel plate which came with lettuce, pickled turnips, and pita and for the sauce and sides we got the Aleppo pepper sauce which reminded me of my favorite Thai chili paste, the dolmas which were okay, and the fattoush salad which I love because of the sumac flavor. The falafel was expertly cooked and was crisp on the outside yet tender on the inside. It's interesting that they poke a hole in the middle of the falafel. I've never seen that before. Seems wise as it helps the falafel cook evenly and thoroughly without having the outside get too browned. I'll have to try this the next time I make falafel at home! We would definitely order all these items again except for the dolmas it's a personal preference but I prefer grape leaves cold not hot. Overall very tasty meal and a good size serving. Second we got the chicken shawarma plate which came with rice and pita and for the sauce and sides we got tzatziki sauce which was excellent, hummus which we found too lemony in flavor, and tabbouleh which was very refreshing. The tabbouleh had way less bulgar wheat than we add at home and was mainly herbs which I loved. We also loved that the tabbouleh used scallions in lieu of white onion as the flavor was more subtle and balanced. Next time I made tabbouleh at home I'll be making it this way! Much more light and refreshing especially for the hot summer. We would order all these items again except for the hummus again that's a seasoning preference the texture was perfect. Again overall a very good meal and a good size portion. Prices are fair for the quality and protein portion sizes (falafel and chicken); however, we ran out of tzatziki and Aleppo sauce before we even started out second pita so perhaps the sauces could be refillable. We will definitely be back based on our first visit and look forward to trying the lamb and the desserts. read more
