This place is okay, local neighborhood dessert spot. Nothing amazing and on the higher end of things. Please note that there is a minimum $10 spending for credit card. I wasn't a fan of their tiramius. As someone who loves tiramisu I didn't appreciate the mousse layer in between I felt like If it didn't have that layer it could have been a 9.5 but with that layer it was more of a 4.5. Their green tea crepe was not it, super thick and super firm... complete opposite of what it is suppose to taste. Would I come back.. most likely. Would it be my first choice... probably not?

This mango mango has a really cute interior and is different than the other ones. It was super bright in here which made it a little difficult to unwind and relax. The desserts were yummy and the mango ice cream that comes with the desert always taste delicious!

Mango mango has to be one of the cutest desserts spots in the area. My friend and I had spent the day over in industry city and had a taste for something sweet when she saw there was a mango mango in the area. That's where we went The staff was friendly. The music was great and the space itself was super cute.. I went for the creme brulee crepe cake and it was fantastic. The top was not as crisp as a regular type, but it had a little bit of crispness. I also got a scoop of the mango ice cream, which was outstanding and I would get over and over again. My friend decided on a classic dessert with fruit, ice cream, sago,etc. She enjoyed it quite a bit. I know we'll be back because we had a great time.

my girl friend and I was craving dessert and visited this location. Walked in and it was empty, no staff in sight. We retrieved our own menu and seated ourselves. The waitress finally appeared but was rude and seemed annoyed for some reason. We sat for 15 mins and she did not bother to come take our order so we walked to the counter and she's like "you didn't have to come here go sit I come to you". Well, we wouldn't have walked up to you had you paid us some attention. We asked for grass jelly and she said ok but gave us aloe jelly - got annoyed when we corrected her, rolled her eyes and was like okay so what you want? Oh hi, we ordered grass jelly, so that's what I'd like? ‍

The durian dessert was good. We also got the bogo passion fruit drink. We were too full to drink the drink in the store. But the food was standard good. And the service was quick since we didn't go during a busy time.

I always loved coming to Mango Mango for desserts. It's a nice cozy place to chill and enjoy some refreshments. Although with inflation lately, getting a simple dessert costs me $10.. it's still somewhat worth it. I came here during winter with my boyfriend and the waiter was nice enough to bring us both a cup of hot water before taking our order which I thought was SUPER considerate of him. We ordered the dark chocolate honey matcha cake, the mixed fruit sago, and the special mango slush. My favorite was the dark chocolate honey matcha cake, not too sweet, but perfectly indulgent!

Came here on a Saturday night with some friends and we were able get a table quickly even though the place was pretty busy. The interior is super cute and modern. I did want to note that the cashiers/waitresses were not welcoming. I think I can chock it up to a long day or people not tipping. My only other complaint is that they serve super hot water in plastic cups...that doesn't seem very safe to me since the plastic seemed like it was almost melting from how hot the water was (they bring everyone hot water once you sit). The dessert was pretty good but I would most recommend the waffle ice cream sandwich because the waffle was warm and crispy and paired perfectly with the creamy ice cream. Looking back we could've ordered less because the desserts were bigger than what the photos implied on the menu - the sundae we ordered (forgot to take a photo) was huge and so was the waffle ice cream sandwich and matcha crepe cake.

A great spot to enjoy some good desserts! It is newly renovated and has a clean aesthetic inside. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and service was very quick! Dark Chocolate Matcha Cake 4/5: cake was on the drier side, panna cotta was a bit rubbery. Chocolate and matcha had a good depth of flavor! Mango Crepe Cake 5/5: light and creamy, not super rich. Pretty good choice for a dessert after a filling meal. The sauce that was drizzled over the cake was also particularly tasty!

I love pretty much all Mango Mango spots, and this one is no exception. The interior is beautifully designed and gives classy cafe vibes. There's usually not too many people in there at once, which is always a perk. I tend to order their Snow White smoothies to go. The strawberry one is a bit bland but their mango one is amazing and on par with other branches.

I really like Mango Mango's other locations in Chinatown and Flushing so I was looking forward to trying out the Sunset Park spot, despite the less than stellar reviews. After all, how bad can you screw up a dessert place? The decor is cute, there's upholstered seating and space for intimate conversation. Looks promising. When we entered, there were two waitresses, a cashier manning the register and a cook in the back, with three occupied tables. For dessert, we ordered the A20, fruit with herbal jelly, sago in coconut juice. We also had a waffle ice cream sandwich and a pot of mango tea. The fruit dessert came out right away. The fruit and herbal jelly were fine but the sago was still frozen! The tea had barely any flavor and tasted more like the watered down second steeping of the tea bag even after 15 minutes. How was the waffle ice cream sandwich? It took us 20 minutes after we ordered to find out. They'd forgotten our order. The staff did their best to ignore us, despite there being only two other tables to tend to, it was as though we'd fallen into a black hole. Until we requested the check. Then the space cadets were right on top of us. I really wanted to like this spot given how much I enjoy their other locations but the service here was too spotty and inconsistent for me to return. read more

This is my second time trying out this franchise (first time was at the newly opened East Village branch) so, I think I can finally write a legit review. Bottom line is: it's AMAZING. The mangoes are always sweet and fresh, the ice cream is super creamy and the crepe cakes are always melt in your mouth delicious. The ambiance in this particular branch is cozier than the one in the East Village with comfy booths and dimmer lighting. The staff is friendly, attentive and the desserts come out in quick succession. It's definitely a hidden gem in Sunset Park! read more

Great stop for a late night dessert fix. service was quick and friendly for take out. My favorite is mango sago with grass jelly. we tried their mango pancake (a slice of mango with fresh creme wrapped in a thin crepe) I thought it was weird but they are very cute to look at. I would give 0 start if I could. Came here on Monday night for dessert and ordered Durian Pancake and YOU KNOW WHAT? There is a DEAD FLY inside the pancake. My friend and I both went to the bathroom because we both feel disgusted and went to threw up after eating one and saw what's in the pancake. While comforting with the waitress, she told us: oh you sure is inside the pancake? Because sometimes in our store, we do got flies around? (US:WTFFF) What kind of response is this?!?! Amongst the better dessert places located in Sunset Park. Great service and chic decor. We were served water as soon as we were seated and the servers were quick to take our orders. The desserts here actually have decent sugar level unlike other places that makes you feel like you're going to have diabetes halfway into your dessert. Fresh fruits and yummy mango juice, what more can you ask for? Don't be fooled by their pictures. The desserts may look big on the menu, but it's actually not. They come in a hand-sized cup and is good for one person. No complaints though, prices are fair. Great place to hang with friends after a meal or just to hang! Will definitely be back! read more

I've been to both Flushing and Brooklyn locations for Mango Mango and I can honestly say the Brooklyn one is better. The environment is just nicer and cozier. When my friend brought me here after dinner I was surprised at how empty it was because it's really a pretty cool hangout place! I love my order. It looks and tastes pretty good and it took only 3 minutes for them to put together. The only thing I didn't like so much was the servers gossiping especially in a different language in front of customers. That's the only reason why this didn't get 5 stars from me. read more

Sadly the waiter needed more training. Really rude and give me a look as if I owed him a million dollars. Sat for over 7 minutes and didn't bring us any water. I remember the service being soo much better before. Gave us a cake and we realized the waiter never gave us napkins or utensils. Asked him for it and he said, that's what I'm getting rn.... No apology or anything. When he came with our dessert, he just left it on the end of the table for us to pass around. No greeting, no smile, no respect... I don't know if he needed that job but in the end, it just made the whole experience awful. Never coming here again and not recommending this location at all. read more

Our story began in New York's Chinatown. Inspired by the constant innovation of the city, we decided to fuse sweet soups in traditional Hong Kong style with modern desserts. Only the most sophisticated cooking methods and finest ingredients (including all the freshest mangoes) are used to create handcrafted desserts like our Mango Mochi, Green Tea Mille Crepe, Durian Dessert Bowl, and Mo Mo Cha Cha. This was chunks for shortcake tossed in caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream that was coated in a chocolate shell. My only other issue with the dish was that because chocolate shell was used, any residue at the bottom was hard so you have to chisel it if you want to savor any last spoonfuls; I guess that comes with the territory. I went there once yesterday. Even though my friend and I spent some time waiting for seats, it was totally worth it. Their service was great, unlike what other reviews say. They are busy but I believe they did what they could. The other review by Marie W. was complaining about the waitress with bangs I believe? To me, as a well educated person I will say that I would not just curse at a hard working teenager, especially when it is not her fault that service was slow. I mean, people who have working experience will understand that sometimes a newly opened store is very busy. Yesterday the girl with bang served me with extremely good attitude compared to other places. Please appreciate those smiley faces they give you because other places usually don't offer it for those customers who constantly complain and insult the poor waitresses. This is my favorite dessert place in Brooklyn. I highly recommended for people who likes dessert and hot teas. It is very comfortable place to relax and enjoyed food. The favorite dessert I personally like is double egg custard. The reason I like it because the red bean perfectly suit in egg custard. I also enjoy and recommend Summer Rose Black Tea. This is my favorite hot tea. I also recommend the combo because it is cheap. The service is awesome. The waitress is very patient and explain the question we have. Great food and awesome experience! My favorite dessert place in New York!If you are the one looking for good food and service you well enjoy eating here,waiters are very nice(especially the one with cool gray hair),in the manu,the mango desserts are highlight,the mangos are always fresh and sweet,my all time favorites are Mango Pancake and Green Tea Mille Crepe.If its ur first time visit u need to try this!Also the Double Egg Custard are very nice too and only available to be eaten in store.If u travel by,why not stop and have some good time. read more

This place is extremely nice! It's in a neighborhood that's surrounded with dessert and food and I chose this because a recommended from my other friend. When I went in the waitress in here were very friendly. Food here were delicious especially the Mango pancake!!!! Ohhhh also double egg custard were the best! The girls here were highly recommending the most popular and best dessert they have in this dessert place. Love this place!!! read more

The line was very long but it was well worth the wait. Overall, the dessert and service was great and the seats were very comfortable. Service was a little slow but it was understandable due to the number of customers. Highly recommended; a great place for dessert and a hangout place. I would definitely come again. +Btw the waitress with the bangs and the cap is super nice! read more

It has been a lot of times here. It's a very quiet place. The design is lovely. It's very suitable for chatting with friends. The service attitude is also very good. The waiters are very responsible and they will always pay attention to the guests i like the green tea cake is very good. And Mango juice with riceball . Mango Mango dessert is my favorite dessert .If you like to eat durian, you have to taste snow white whith durian and black rice. The waiters are very friendly. When you finish thedessert, they will help you clean the dishes. Comfort doesn't know why there are so many negative reviews. It seems to me that this is a good dessert shop. read more

In Mango mango u can get the best dessert for the low low. I meant 5 stars desserts plus the 6 stars waitress, whereelse I could go for sweet? Only Mango Mango!!! Definitely will come back for the next visit cuz waitress gifted us coupon!!! read more
