This business is a ripped off. They charge $450 for a cancellation for just few hours. They charge $100 for voiding a transaction for few hours. They overpriced charges by almost $700+ if charging on 3rd party like affirm and will not respond promptly if filed for price adjustment complain. US Consumer affairs should shut down this business. Worse customer service ever. We arrived 2pm and still haven't been seen by any of the two agents at 3:15pm. They don't seem to be bothered with the growing line of customers. Those who are being served don't also seem to be bothered with the number of people after them as they continue to chat with the agents about their recent travels. It's so frustrating to call them since you'd just be put on gold or won't even receive a call back. Being on site seem to be worse. Now you can see how slow they really are. read more

WARNING! DO NOT FAX A COPY OF YOUR CREDIT CARD and DRIVERS LICENSE to Mango Tours! We bought short-notice, plane tickets with Mango Tours to attend a funeral overseas. The company's prices were good compare to other airline ticketing office. Due to work conflicts, we made our purchase, by phone, at two different times with two different cards. During each purchase, Mango Tour required a copy of our credit card and DL to complete the transaction. On our return, the two cards we used with Mango Tours were hit with fraudulent charges but our other cards weren't affected! Our credit card company stated that the fraudulent charges were made with a physical card. Thank you BoA for catching the fraudulent activities for us and not making us liable! Again... think twice when a merchant needs a front and back copy of your CC! read more

I found the service and response of this travel agency to be near excellent. Easily 4-stars. Our emails were promptly responded to, if my wife and I cannot immediately access or connect to their office telephone numbers, we will call personal cellphone numbers of Lyll and his husband, of which they are quick to answers their cellphones; and whatever our inquiries, issues and concerns, Lyll and his husband always on top of the situations and resolved it. On the other hand, comes a time that their office is really busy, Lyll and his husband assured us that within 24º, they will call us; even outside office hours; Lyll and his husband calling us to resolve or satisfy our concerns. Here's how Mango Tours ruined our honeymoon. We wanted to go to El Nido for our honeymoon and were recommended Mango Tours from a relative. They had good deals on packages that included flights, transfers, room and board, so it seemed like a simplified and cost-effective way to plan the trip. It took a few calls to the office in Queens to get through, but I finally did and put in a quote request for a week-long stay at El Nido Resorts Apulit and El Nido Resorts Miniloc. Almost a week after not receiving anything from Mango Tours, I followed up and spoke with the same representative. I later found out (from corporate) that she only started the quote after that 2nd conversation. She told me that we'd have to wait for the Manila office to process the quote, they'd send it to her and then she would get back to me. It seemed inefficient, but at this point we were getting close to the holidays, so I wanted to get this booked. I checked the El Nido Resorts website directly to make sure they still had rooms and was relieved to see that they did. Again, after days of no communication, I reached out to Mango Tours via phone, email, and Facebook Messenger. Almost a week later, I finally got a response from the agent with the quote containing 2 different package options. My husband and I responded immediately with our choice. The agent quickly responded with next steps. Again, we immediately responded, sending over our passport information, discussing payment - the usual travel booking process. We were ready and excited to lock this in. 2 days later, we received a brief email saying that the package was no longer available and the agent had instead booked us for option 2 but in a different room than quoted...with a $1,000 USD mark-up. We fully understood that the rates were subject to change from the time we got the quote to the time we booked - less than a 48-hour period. However, this seemed like bait and switch. We called the agent to try and sort this out, but got no response. We emailed and it bounced back. We then called the 800 number that goes to Mango's Manila office and spent about an hour on the phone trying to get answers from another representative. We tried to send her the email chain so she could see what happened, but her emails were bouncing back too. We tested our emails to see if the issue was on our end, but it wasn't. For some strange reason, Mango Tours email system was no longer working. The Manila agent quickly ended the call when she realized that we weren't going to just accept the marked-up option. Because of Mango Tours we're a week away from our honeymoon with nowhere to stay. We started planning well in advance, but now are unfairly scrambling to just find somewhere decent to go. It's easily the worst travel company that I've worked with. I am not a troll; I review plenty of businesses positively and honestly. This company has no integrity or regard for their customers. Please beware. Fast forward to 2018: my parents recently used Mango Tours for a trip to Vietnam (because they couldn't find another company with the tour they wanted). Guess what happened? Mango booked their return trip on a flight that doesn't exist! Not exactly sure how that happens, but my parents went to the airport in Hanoi at midnight only to find out that the flight on their itinerary only runs on Sundays and Wednesdays (it was Monday). They got in touch with Mango and ended up having to pay for their own ride back to their hotel and the room for that night. Mango picked up the cost for the other night and their ride to the airport but in my opinion that doesn't even come close to making up for the massive error. read more

I've bee getting my ticket from Mango Tours since 2004. So far they gave me an excellent service. I can easily call them if ever I have questions regarding my reservations. The agent was very helpful specially Lyll the manager she's really accommodating, knowledgeable in the business even if the route is very complicated she will help you and give you a good deal. Kudos to her staff also because they can answer your travel needs. They email me from time to time to update promotional deals from different airlines. Lyll will extend her service even after office hours, one time I had an emergency call from the Philippines my father died that was wee hours, right then and there I called Lyll she help me to get my ticket on the same day I flew to the Philippines. I definitely recommend my agent to families and friend. So we have the same agent now. read more

Horrible! We recently booked a flight to Manila for my grandmother. The seat they gave her was supposedly "the best seat". That it was near the lavatory. My grandmother has problems with her knees. She has trouble walking so it was important for us to get her a good seat. They assured us of this. However, when my grandmother got on her flight... she was taken to the very back of the plane. Since she also has problems with her kidneys, my grandmother has to go frequently. The flight was very uncomfortable for her because it was a long walk every time she had to go. These people are shady. They will not hesitate to lie to you just to get you to book a flight with them. They will tell you anything you want to hear. I would advice people to avoid this company. As for me, I will never again go to them for my travel needs. read more

First time using their service. Never going back. It looked like a good option at first. Bought ticket via online service but had to get in contact with Customer Service. Sounded like they ran the department from a kitchen with some school grade women who could barely speak English. Ended up having to make changes to flight schedule and we were quoted one price but after sending the Authorization Form, we got a call back saying that there was an additional Fuel Surcharge since the paperwork was received hours later but they stated on the phone that the price was good for 24 hours. Lesson learned: Purchase Directly From the Airlines. They could at least stand by their word and they speak my language. read more

Will never use them again. Bought our tickets for December trip to the Philippines in February to avail of good fares and seat choice. Agent said that we can select seats 30 days before flight. We checked a little earlier than 30 days and found out that we could have selected our seats 90-days prior. Seats we got were at the back of the airplanes (last row!). Airline was able to help us move it a bit forward. We have been buying our tickets for the Philippines through Mango Tours and have recommended them to friends. Not anymore. You do not get good service from them. Find other options. read more

beware of this travel agency!! they actually train their staff to lie to customers...first they will give you a very low price( too good to be true!!) but later on as soon as you provide them your credit card info., suddenly they will tell you that the price just went up!! this what happen to me today, i booked yesterday with mango tours travel agent and told me the price rt sfo - mnl, is $960.00 for 1 adult 1 child. the next day she confirmed tht the price is still $960. but as soon as i send her my credit card info, same day, i was told that she made a mistake and the price just went up to $1260.00!! i try to complain to their management and the only thing they told me is that this thing happens everyday! they did'nt even feel sorry at all. it was very upsetting!!! i would never recommend this company to anyone because they LIE, they are not professional, non-educated people, no good customer service at all! pls feel free to check Better businesss bureau and you will see a lot of complain with this travel company. read more
