She checked up on us multiple times throughout our stay, greatly appreciated. I ordered the open face hot turkey sandwich. It was good. First place that actually serves thick most turkey breast slices. The bread underneath was slightly toasted similar to garlic bread - surprisingly tasty. The mash potatoes were a bit heavier than normal on pepper. The gravy esa more like brown gravy vs turkey gravy. It was OK. The dining area was noisy because there were several families with several young kids. Understandable. Once most of the families with the young kids started leaving, the noise died down quickly. Even though the restaurant was full, our food orders cane out quick. Great appreciated and surprised. I ordered a vegetable dessert: personal apple pie with vanilla scoops of ice cream (came with caramel but was able to opted for chocolate). Good little mom and pop place right next door to my favorite pizza place (Brothers Pizza). The restaurant is simple, but nice. The staff is always nice which is rare nowadays lol. I love the chillaquiles. They give a generous amount. My wife had the carne asada burrito which was big. She liked it alot. They have good michelada beers too.
