    chilaquiles with asada

This spot doesn't stand out as far as looks, it's definitely hole in the wall vibes. I honestly wouldn't of even considered this spot if it wasn't for a friends recommendation. As far as the food, it was great. I love how the meat was soft not chewy and rough, their red sauce could pack some more heat but we asked for some salsa roja and that was spicy and added great flavor to our meals. The service is honestly like any other spot, it's not the best but not the worse. I don't mind as long as they came to check on me I'm good. The food does come in separate times, I waited maybe 5-6 min for my burrito to come out after the chilaquiles but I don't mind. I honestly rate it a solid 4.5 they could work on their service a bit better but I'm here for the food so it's solid.

Food, quality and service on point! Michelada was actually very good, and food portion and taste was yummy!

I ordered some chilaquiles to go. They had a lot of flavor and a little spice. 10/10 recommend. Beans were also delicious. I substituted the rice for some potatoes. The potatoes didn't have any seasoning, but still tasted delicious with all the other food because there was a lot of flavor and the Chilaquiles and beans.

Did is always fantastic. Their service is above any other. My husband and I are sick. Called to order albondigas soup. Got a call a few minutes later. She apologized that they were out. She recommended the fish and shrimp soups. Didn't charge extra. Plus she let my husband just pull up to the front door. She came out, took payment and gave food through his car window so he didn't have to go in. I wish I had gotten her name. I can say we appreciate the extra service we recieved. We have eaten in the restaurant before. Always get great service and great food!!

This family owned Mexican spot is so good! everything on the menu is delicious but my favorites are the tacos gobernador, acguachiles and their new mimosas. Great for brunch lunch and dinner. I recommend this establishment to everyone in the I.E & everywhere elsr

My family loves this place but they had to repeatedly ask for avocado With the tacos gobernador (that are supposed to come with it), and I'm just seeing the shrimp cocktail she ordered last night and there is not a single piece of avocado in the entire cup. Are you guys struggling with them, being rude because they're white, or just forgetting to put avocado in main dishes that it's supposed to come with? Wild.

I called and order food from here because of the menu online that prices are way way off they are doubled the price once you go in then my albondigas taste like lemon I got these huge carrot slices and salary and I called them and they said it only comes with 4 albondigas but I only got 3 ... also I had other orders that were wrong and when I questioned them they said they we're going to charge me again for what they missed to place in my bag.... Very dissatisfied and disappointed

Whether you're into shrimp, crab, crawfish, or combos, everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. The portions were generous and worth the price point. Service was friendly and the vibe was fun perfect for a casual dinner with friends or family. I'll definitely be back soon to try more off the menu! I ordered the blazing sauce which is a mixture of all their sauces and I did not like it at all. It has tomato base in it. They either use tomato sauce or purée or something to the sauce and that just should not be in a crab boil. Anybody knows the flavor of tomato can overpower or mute other flavors so it just doesn't belong in seafood boil sauce and I couldn't enjoy it for that reason. So basically $53 and approximately 2 pounds of shrimp gone to waste. Also, there weren't many pieces of sausage as a matter of fact, I only found two pieces of sausage. They were a good brand of sausage. I didn't eat much of the sides anyway because that Tomato flavor threw me off. If I had been home and not heading out of town, I would have washed the sauce off and made my own. I usually do the house blend when eating at restaurants like these. I wish I had known they use tomato I would have stuck with Lemon pepper or just garlic butter.

Unfortunately, the service experience started off a bit disjointed, as we felt noticeably rushed by our waitress to place our order. When it comes to the menu, be aware that there are no sushi rolls without cream cheese. This is a significant limitation that makes selecting food difficult if you prefer a cleaner, more traditional sushi profile, effectively forcing you to pivot toward the mariscos. Despite those constraints, the kitchen generally delivers excellent flavor balance and solid execution: Tuna Tostada: A standout. It's a simple dish, but the flavor profile is fantastic, showcasing an exceptionally well-balanced mix of spice and lemon citrus. Aguachiles Ranch: Another strong mariscos dish. It packed a great amount of spice with a highly enjoyable, vibrant flavor profile. Fish & Shrimp Tacos: The kitchen's frying technique was spot-on. Both proteins were perfectly battered, and the portion sizes were generous. Aguachilito Roll: A bit of a mixed bag. The accompanying salsa negra was absolutely perfect, hitting that ideal harmony of lime and spice. However, the technique on the roll itself fell short--the sushi rice was noticeably hard on several of the cuts. Kids Meal: The chicken nuggets were solid. The toddler ate without a single complaint, which is always a win. Strong flavor profiles, perfectly battered tacos, and excellent mariscos, but the overall experience is held back slightly by rushed service, hard sushi rice, and a frustrating overreliance on cream cheese in the sushi rolls.

The poor experience began at the host stand. I had a reservation for 1:15 PM but arrived early and was sat at 12:56 PM. Despite my active reservation, when the host led me to the table, she asked if the reservation was under "M." When I got to the table and asked who "M" was, she dismissively replied that they "just put down an alphabet." I told her my name was Will, but she didn't care to acknowledge it or correct her mistake. This cold shoulder continued throughout the meal. When asked about drinks, I said "water for now," and every time I said "thank you" to our server, I was met with complete silence and zero acknowledgment. Once my guest--who is white--joined me at the table, the dynamic shifted entirely. He received 95% of the server's warmth, eye contact, and attention. The only time the server actively engaged with me was to take my physical food order. Even the food had issues--our first crab cake was served overcooked. Because my guest was the one who pointed it out, the manager came over and addressed him to replace it. While the manager's interaction was a bit better, the server's dismissive attitude toward me never improved for the rest of the meal. To top it off, I was the one who paid the bill. When the server returned my credit card, instead of handing it back to me, she chose to place the presenter book directly in the middle of the table. As a business owner, I understand how critical customer service is. The selective attentiveness and dismissive attitude I experienced today felt incredibly biased and completely ruined our lunch. I will not be returning to this location.
