The food could also be better, and the pool is often so cold that many campers don't enjoy swimming. If the camp improved the food, made the pool more comfortable, and gave campers a little more freedom with their phones, the overall experience would be much better.

My son hadn't even met his counselors before the camp owner decided it would be mandatory for me to hire a babysitter to babysit my son in order for him to attend camp. I calmly explained that my son can be shy especially in new surroundings. My suggestions for success for my child were completely dismissed and were met with smug comments and complete lack of empathy. It was shocking and disappointing to see Coleman heading in this direction. If you are considering Camp Coleman, I strongly advise going elsewhere, where ownership cares about your children and not just your check. What kind of camp is this!?

I got a chance to visit them last summer when my family took my little cousin there for a day tour. I was blown away by how much they've grown both in sheer size of the property and all of the cool features they've built. Walking from the parking lot brought back so many memories. It's kind of wild how your brain can instantly bring you back to specific moments from over 20 years ago. The wildest thing that I saw they had built was their new American Ninja Warrior Course. It wasn't any rinky dink diy job either... it felt like I was on the set of the actual show! All of the staff members I met were outstanding young men and women. They were all professional, polite, and enthusiastic about their job. I remember my counselors back in the day having those same qualities and it's clear that Coleman really hires good people. I accredit my current skills in swimming and archery to the wonderful instructions that I received day in and day out when I went. Looking at the prices, they've certainly gone up since I was little but everything sure has. I'm sure if you ask my parents, they'd tell you that it was worth the cost because when the bus dropped me off in the evening each day, I was very happy but also completely exhausted. I would eat dinner, head to my room, and knock out immediately. Prior to my camp days, getting a kid like me to bed was darn near impossible. If you're looking for a phenomenal camp for your child, I'd give them a call to explore your options or to simply learn more.

I purchased a groupon with no expectations to finish the experience wanting to go back and perfect my skillz.Ive never been trapezing before let alone see my legs fly off a bar or go into twisty weird positions since the years of gymnastics but it happened and I loved every minute. They guide you so everything goes smoothly and you don't have to be super fit to participate. I was taught by four/five very handsome men! Aussie(golden hair, super fit with an Australian accent) Phillie(super cool, down to earth), and one other guy with a super sick beach bod & chill man bun. So let's recap gorgeous chill men teaching you how to jump and be caught mid air by one of them. So you practice and practice then it's time to be caught mid air and your so ready and pumped, so when you see marco(this super fit man who looks like he can catch two people at the same time) extends his arms out to catch you, at this point in your a professional and enjoying your time in the air. The entire experience was so awesome there's a free parking lot right behind the jumping area. You can make a day out of it and go on the beach! Why not? It's awesome. Scheduling with my groupon was a breeze. So here's a few tips. 1. Earlier fly times are awesome because you get that nice morning breeze and there's no traffic getting there, and you can spend the day at the beach. 2. If your a lady with big boobs wear a sports bra unless you're okay with them performing there own show. 3. If you don't want to wear a sports bra wear a shirt that's not low cut. As for the pants leggings work or shorts as long as your okay with the pressure behind your calfs from using them to swing upside down. It's awesome don't get deterred. Go and experience this once in a lifetime opportunity. They also perform shows in Eisenhower park for free.

Around the waist, a belt. 2 hooks, cords, controlled (more than you realize) by a fully knowledgeable staff member below. 2. You forget all this as you fly thru the air on a bar. 3. There's a net below. You are not going to get hurt. There isn't any real reason Not to do it. 4. Accomplishment is so satisfying and you will want to do it again. I want to do it again. 5. You need all of your wits about you. This isn't jokey " I'm a little drunk" kinda pastime. Respect the vocation.

One play set that is for the younger kids and the other for kids that are 5-12 years old. There are also a small swing set that has two bucket seats and two regular swings. The playground has a good amount of room for the kids to run around and parents to hang while the kids play. There are also two benches if you need to sit for a break. The playground area is fenced in, but there is no gate to prevent the kids from running out, so it's something parents will need to take in mind if their kids tend to wander. If you get hungry, the park is located within a strip mall area with Fred's Delicatessen if you need something to fill you up or a refreshing drink. Overall it's a nice park and I would recommend others to check it out.

The staff are certified and undergo the strictest of background checks, there is no pressure for kids to be potty trained by a certain age, and you know that the school is safe and well maintained. The school is pure magic, the teachers base their lessons in play which is backed by research as the most important way for children to learn in the early years. I cannot recommend this school enough. Especially since they are supportive and accommodating of students who also need special services. I speak from first-hand experience that they will work with speech, OT, PT, and special educators to make sure your child gets exactly what they need. There is a reason this school has been around for over 60 years.
