I can say without reservation that Sisto Funeral Home exceeded every expectation. From our very first interaction, Ralph treated me with the care, compassion, and attentiveness one would expect from a trusted family member. His communication was impeccable, his follow-up consistent, and his attention to detail unmatched. Despite the time difference and the fact that I was coordinating everything from California, Ralph was always responsive, thoughtful, and reassuring. I initially contacted eight funeral homes throughout New York City, and choosing Sisto Funeral Home was one of the best decisions I made during this difficult time. The funeral service was held at St. Raymond's Church, and it was truly beautiful. Ralph and his team arrived promptly, conducted themselves with the highest level of professionalism, and carried out every aspect of the service with dignity, respect, and grace. It was as easy and as stress-free as it could be under the circumstances. We worked with Laura, our funeral director, who was extremely accommodating and helpful. Our requests were simple and nothing was pushed on us which we really appreciated. This was our second experience with ROH, having had our mom's funeral there, which was equally positive. Because of our streamlined requests for cremation without any extra trappings the cost to us was very reasonable. We had a beautiful video which was part of the service and a large room to welcome the visitors. The memorial service was lovely. Laura did a fantastic job leading the ceremony and invited others to share their stories and memories. I can't say enough. ROH is a real gem in the Riverdale community.

My dad passed away suddenly and my sister and I didn't think we'd be able to gather our wits and find the strength to plan a funeral service that would properly honor him. But from the very first meeting with Vito, and throughout the entire process - the O'Shea team went above and beyond to support and guide us with the utmost professionalism, patience, and compassion. In addition to the kindhearted and attentive staff, the facilities were beautiful, spacious and immaculate - and even included thoughtfully placed tissues, hand sanitizers, and water bottles. There were plenty of tables for flowers and picture frames, as well as 2 large screens for picture slide shows. Most importantly, my dad was treated with incredible dignity and respect. The makeup and preparation on my dad was wonderful - he looked so natural and at peace. And it was very important for us that the casket remain open at all times, which Vito made sure happened. Vito and Kevin also made a point of being at the church service and ensuring that everything went smoothly. We were extremely moved and grateful when Vito stopped the hearse (as we were following it on the way to church) and placed 3 roses on the front stoop of my parents' home. Yrcania is genuinely phenomenal. She made everything feel natural, each conversation was focused on what would represent my mom the best. I appreciated that they only hold one wake at a time so you feel like the space is really yours.
