You got the sense that covid was very hard for this center, as it has been for all child care centers. The director William and Shannon really helped us feel comfortable sending our daughter there. After a couple weeks our daughter was running to get into the daycare. They would send us frequent updates including video and photos, so we knew what was going on throughout the day. I'd highly recommend this daycare because our kiddo loved it. The tuition is very steep and there are no outdoor spaces or access to the outdoors, so that is something to consider.

I am so glad my child is no longer enrolled there There is a night and day difference between this place and my new daycare. My new daycare has plenty of staff , great toys, outdoor space, provides lunch, and costs less!! My child has been at new daycare for some time now, and hasn't gotten sick once!! We moved to NYC worried about finding daycare for our kids. Bright Horizons had openings for both…read moreour 14 month old and 3 year old. The teachers love their babies and kids. They are very caring. Bright Horizons is a chain and has a consistent schedule and areas of focus during the day. The curriculum does have an organized plan around education for all ages. They get supplemental classes in Spanish, Music and Soccer included. There is usually at least 2-3 art activities during the week. For my oldest, they are working on letters, numbers, and basic reasoning skills in science, comprehension and relationships. During nice weather, the kids will go out to the local park to play at the playground. My son could qualify for free pre-K but we liked the convenience of having both kids in the same place. The pre-K class is small, but they get lots of attention and it's a close knit group of kids who get along well. They also organize parent seminars for G&T testing info, eating habits, etc. We've attended a few evening events- International Potluck and Open House. It's not a fancy schmancy place with a super unique education philosophy, it's a great daycare and place to learn with good hours for working parents. This center also handles last minute drop-ins.

She comes home happy, relaxed, and ready to sleep after a day of interacting. Transitioning back to work from maternity leave is stressful for any new mom, and we were specifically looking for daycare that was safe, loving, and engaging. The Bright Horizons program has kind teachers who love the kids, built in activities to stimulate them (you can never learn the solar system too early), and all the normal bells and whistles (app with push notifications). I often pop in early and find the kids in little groups around an activity. The teachers even helped our daughter get more adept at bottle feeding after mostly breastfeeding at home. Like with any new environment, we had a few days of acclimating to the process and how the team works. And like all daycares, you trade off in pure one-to-one interaction with a nanny or mom/dad for more engagement with activities and other people. I've been sitting in the room when all the kids want to eat at once, and they do have to learn a little patience. Overall, Bright Horizons has exceeded what I was expecting from a larger daycare provider. The Director has been thoughtful and flexible, and the teachers are so sweet with our little girl.

From increased language and physical skills to the importance they place on teaching patience, sharing, and independence, our little one is thriving. Paige, Cristal, and now Anissa make such a meaningful effort to reinforce values that will help our kiddo develop, both emotionally and mentally. They've also helped us with several big growth milestones and transitions. The teamwork and communication is really helpful. Beyond the educational benefits, KA is unfussy and grounded -- sometimes a rare find in lower Manhattan. Everyone we've met is empathetic and supportive without coddling; there is structure without rigidity. We were immediately attracted to their leveled, non-reactive approach to big emotions. Unfortunately we moved away from Manhattan recently and so had to move on. He has been asking to come back all the time for Ms Julia and others. The place is well run. It is priced very competitively. You are also kept up to date on any plans, policies, changes etc. The place is clean (back when you could go inside it), they keep individual items well segregated as well. They have an awesome gym room for the kids to play around in. During my kid's time here he learned to talk, learned his abcs, numbers, saying sentences, was potty trained, and well socialized with lots of other kids. Our profile. We are a working couple so needed something that is flexible, well located, and low drama where we could get excellent care. Kiddie @ Tribeca fit those needs well. We will forever be grately and have fond memories of our time there.

Since day 1 I was always confident that my son was safe, cared for, loved and engaged. The owner, Sherry, is deeply invested in her business and truly cares for the children as if they are her own. She is always available for communication and can be easily reached to discuss absolutely anything. She is open to suggestions and always partners with you in the best interest of your child. The facility is kept incredibly clean and they provide nutritious homemade food. There is a strong focus on academics from an early age and I know this helped my son's language development tremendously. They have also taught him socialization skills, and I know my toddler is as polite as he is because of the guidance he got at Tons of Fun. They have recently made changes in their daily schedules to include more outdoor time (despite not having an onsite playground) that I think is a great improvement. We will miss our friends, the staff and Sherry at Tons of Fun and will be forever grateful for the loving care our son received.

This is my daughter's 2nd year with Bright Horizons. She's loved her teacher's and really wants to…read morego to school despite being extremely shy and not wanting to seperate from her parents. If my child is injured or a safety concern happens at school I've been notified before i pick her up and the situations have been dealt with properly. The center is great at sharing photos and updates throughout the day about my child though sometimes miss details like tracking exactly how much she ate and exactly what happened in the bathroom uses. However, this is already so much more than many of my friends that I'm personally ok with it. While all the staff have been great to work with, the Assistant Director is specifically amazing and helps to make the school/day care feel like a community. Areas for improvement would be: better access to outdoor areas, more regular communication with parents on how my child is doing and how i can support her specific and individual growth (the send general lessons but nothing that has felt helpful to me) and better front door management (haven't seen the doors propped open but know that at times no one is in the front of the school). In a world where early education is undervalued and keeping talented staffis challenging, Bright Horizons Chelsea seems to be doing a good job and i feel confident my daughter will be set up for success when we eventually grow out of it.

Update - Daycare lost or let their local playground access insurance lapse. The center is no longer…read moreallowed to bring kids to the playground and is dragging its feet to submit payment/paperwork. They've been letting the kids go to the playground for a period of time without insurance. Parents only found out daycare didn't have insurance when local playground asked for proof of insurance before allowing kids to continue to play there. Daycare doesn't even bring the kids out for walks, they will claim they do but when parents ask their child from various classes they all say they went to MMZ (their indoor play area) even when it's a beautiful day out. If you care about your kids getting fresh air/sunlight during the day especially during the spring/summer season. This center is not for you. Who knows what other insurance or things the center is hiding and not telling parents about. There's been about 5 break-ins since we've been here. They tried fixing the issue but intruders/homeless man keeps finding a way into the daycare. Most recent incident occurred around Dec 2025/Jan 2026. Center is suppose to update their security/lock system but it's been months and no update has been given if another system will be replaced. If you don't care about your child's safety just enroll them here now!!!
