When I went to this school back in the early 2000s, the education was good and the professors were professional and on point with everything. I can't speak for how anything is now however. I can say this however with certainty (as this has not changed even since I was there), and that is that the environment will make or break an experience. The environment has a big hip hop vibe to it, and most of the students here (even to this day) are Dominican. If this doesn't fit you, you might not like it here. So be advised. If you don't care, then you'll probably feel fine here. Other than that, there's not much to say about this place.

With my final semester coming up for before I completed my Masters I was forced to take my last two classes at the Englewood Cliffs campus. Upon arriving to campus I was blown away by what it actually was. If you're a working adult who is continuing their education in the evening I'm sure you're looking for a school where everything is located on one floor. A place where if you need to see the advisor, dean, library, student lounge, and classroom are all within 5ft of each other. SPU is the place to go but only at the Englewood Cliffs campus. On one floor is all of these and much more. When I come to class a few minutes early I am able to heat up my dinner with the awesome microwave the student lounge provides, grab some snacks from the vending machine, or make a cup of coffee from the Keurig machine! Let's not forget about the most important part. The parking! This campus provides a parking lot that does not need a permit. The parking lot is not located across the campus but instead right outside the building where all of your classes are. I highly recommend attending the Englewood Cliffs campus if you are in any program. It is worth the drive and extremely convenient for the students.

I even made the dean's list. I graduated from there twice. The tuition was subsidized by the Workforce at the labor department. I was lucky they paid for it and that I was able to study there. I liked the teacher who taught the class in 2004. Even though the teacher who taught the class in 2012 was good at teaching it, he was very nasty and abusive and constantly harassed me. He could not be trusted and used his position against me. From the very beginning of the course, he harassed me that he was going to have me expelled after an issue had happened when I tried to log on to the website to take an exam. He also stalked me by sending me a lot of emails that he was going to have me expelled. Even after I complained to the staff about him, he continued to harass me. He was also a reverend who took the class on to religious websites and talked about religion and the bible when he was teaching the class. He played the religious man, but he was really the devil. Being some of the students and staff were loyal to him, after I graduated, they turned against me. The new dean that took over breached my confidence by forwarding my emails to the other staff people. The school also has a job placement service and had promised the students that they will help them get employment. I was lucky if they even got me one interview. I ended up finding employment on my own. I was not happy with the director of job placement after I graduated in 2012. All she did was copy and paste job ads that she got off of the internet. Her contacts and her meetings were nasty. In conclusion, the Hohokus Hackensack school of business was a very good school. Some of the people there were not very nice and could not be trusted. I got crap from them.

The administration though, (those that handle things like setting up clinicals, schedules - particularly during the holiday season, and handling students' paperwork so they can take the NCLEX and get their license) is for some reason unable to get things done effectively or timely. I completed the program 90 days ago and they still have not sent my transcripts the board of nursing so I can obtain my license.

Visited Bronx Community College today for the First time. Living in the area for years and never…read moreknew this was here by the trees of the Major Deegan. The campus is exquisite so much history in the architecture. You really can't comprehend this is in the Bronx. This use to be the old NYU Campus many years ago. It's like time stops here the chaos around you just stops doesn't even feel like you're in the Bronx for a second. I'm so happy my son chose this school for his College.
