1) Auctions sell cars to used car dealerships. They take in used cars from dealerships that sold them but the customer couldn't make the payments. Manheim is no different. 2) Buyer Beware. Cox Automotive owns the Manheim Auto Auctions nationwide. 3) Cox Automotive also owns "Kelly Blue Book" (aka "KBB). Are you kidding me? That's legal? A publication that tells you what the used cars are worth (Good, Better or Best condition) is owned by the same company that owns all the Manheim Auctions across the U.S and beyond? How sneaky and underhanded is that? How come the U.S. Justice Department doesn't stop companies that try to monopolize the market? Did you know that Cox Automotive also owns Dealertrack? Many many many dealerships use Dealertrack to complete the paperwork when you buy a vehicles (all the state and local specifics are loaded into Dealertrack so it is convenient for dealerships to use it. It does other things too but this is one of the main reasons people use it. Google "who owns Dealertrack". Here is what you will find: Dealertrack is owned by Cox Automotive, a subsidiary of the privately held Cox Enterprises. Cox Automotive acquired Dealertrack in 2015 for $4 billion. It operates as a major brand within their portfolio, which includes other automotive industry leaders like Autotrader, Kelley Blue Book, and Manheim. They also own www.centraldispatch.com. This is the website where dealerships, auto transport trucking companies and auto transport brokers go to post vehicles that need transporting so the carriers can find these loads. Mothership auction of all auctions. A#1. Most selection of cars and great food in the cafeteria.

I have been going to Manheim for 17 years and I'm a pro in-line buy. Last week I got this GT-R at the auction and seen that it had been sold before at Manheim just a few months ago. And as I went to drive the car I noticed it had some noise coming from Mayby the lower end of the engine. Or it may have been to a drive line. So I went to ask one of the arb reps Jay Harnberger if they could see if that this car had been arb before since it was sold there before. He seemed to be a nice. As we buyers know. You can't do post sale on GT R. I've always had great service at Manheim But this time some younger kid in the back starts to get involved with my Conversation with the other arb rep. He tells me that he has a GT-R him self. And tells me that Manheim policy is not to tell the custermers info cars that they might have. And dealers don't tell there custermer if they no anything was wrong with the car they are selling ! I was like what ? Is he talking to me in my head. I just looked at him. Then he says that WE don't work for you. We don't work for the dealers !! I was going to go off at him. And then he says. You will ok with the car. You have money. You just got a GT-R. So you have money with a smirk on his face. I was upset in the way he talked to me. I am the owner of my company. And he talked to me like I was a child I purchased over 10 million dollars a years from just that one Manheim. I always have loved this action So much to choose from. And great people too. But employees like this are a problem and can spread there negative vibes. I hope that Manheim does believe that the customers come first. And I believe that if a car is ARB and then comes back in the block for sales weeks later. That is the seller did not fix the problem he should have to announce what reason it had been in arb before. They can't just have a car Arb and then try to sell a bad car to some inexperienced buyer or something. I hope Manheim helps the buys by protecting US from this try of situations. And give us access to previous info like if it had been Arb and what for. So we no what we are buying. Manheim does the best job to give the buyer the best info on there cars. Keep the buyers happy. We are the ones paying these large buyers fees that help run the place. Thx Manheim. And someone have a talk to that kid in the back in ARB. The kid with the 2010 GT-R. That just so happen to be watching the GTR sale on the block that day on his Computer. Rather then doing his job !!!!!! read more
