I like that it's peaceful and quiet. When I first started getting mani/pedi's the tools were sanitized. They are not anymore and their files are not disposable. The pedicure stations are disgustingly dirty. Dead skin in and around the top. It has gone downhill and the health department shoukd intervene. I will not be back. read more

So, here's the deal. I love this place. It's definitely outside of the area I usually travel in, but dang it. It's totally worth it. I will say this: you will likely be here a while. But! That's not really a negative. I promise it isn't. The love nail tech Jennifer took her time and was very detail-oriented. Since my regular nail tech retired, I usually leave a salon and notice at least one or two glitches. This time? Nope. Just awesomeness. Also, I've been to two nail salons and described the gel powder I wanted on my nails. The first time, I got an acrylic set. The second time, they had no idea what I was talking about. I actually got what I wanted here and it was beautifully done. The location was very clean. They have plastic liners for the tubs and Jennifer used gloves and masks as well. The staff was very friendly. I was promptly greeted when I arrived and offered a beverage as well. Update: once I learned what SNS dip powder nails were supposed to look like, I knew these were wrong. These look like acrylics when they're not supposed to be anywhere near this thick and they were way more expensive than the places I have been since. read more

My mom and I have been customers here for over a year now. She's able to go much more often than I can but I've never had a bad experience there. I recently went somewhere else to get my nails done and it was awful and I thought to myself, "Serves me right, I should've gone to Mani Lux". The ladies there are all incredibly kind and really sweet to talk to. They really care about their customers. My nails always look wonderful after going there. The salon itself is so incredibly tidy and clean. You will never question whether or not the utensils used on your nails are sterile or not. This past Christmas, they gave their customers a gift of a free homemade handscrub before you left-which is so sweet and let me tell you the handscrub has been AMAZING. read more

They slayed my nails!!! I'm in love. This was my first visit because I wasn't satisfied with my other nail tech anymore. They're really good at what they do and they're also up on modern techniques. Everyone was super nice and all spoke excellent English, my nail tech also spoke Spanish. The inside was really nice and they have a lot of options. They did exactly what I wanted for my nails too and the shape is perfect. They also have a loyalty program so if anyone is reading this and decides to go tell them Madeline Kersey sent you! Came here yesterday after work for a much needed pedicure. I had Jennifer who was so sweet! Every pedicure bowl has a disposable liner which is a plus. It's a smaller salon which is lovely. Jennifer paid attention to detail and gave an awesome massage! I will most defiantly be coming back for another pedi and SNS. They have a HUGE selection of colors. My first time here and I am very impressed!! I have become a 'pedicure nazi' these last few years. I don't seem to see/get the same service I used to years ago. Over time it seems like quality has decreased as prices increase in nail salons in multiple states I have lived in. I am new to the area and all I can say is this experience has been a great " welcome home" moment for me. I don't really make reviews unless service is really good or really bad and in this case a 5 Star Review well deserved. My feet were very well manicured and filed. I went for the Spa Manicure for $35 so I can have an exfoliation. Leg scrub accompanied that and nails were well filed. Technician again manicured any imperfections before polish. They just made a new long term customer. They are customer service forward and go out of their way to make customers feel good. Very much appreciated. I am VERY Disappointed in my nails and the fact that no one even cared enough to check for customer satisfaction! She's great at what she does, but since I never call ahead for an appointment (my schedule is crazy and they always work me in) I usually get Jenny.... I never review anything...ever but I had to brag about Felicia. She gave one of THE BEST pedicures I've had in a long time. She was gentle, patient, and very detailed oriented. I'm super picky about my pedicures and she exceeded my expectations. The work she did on my cuticles was AMAZING. She polished my toes exceptionally and cleaned up any polish she accidentally got on my skin or in my cuticles. She took her time, you can definitely tell she takes pride in her work. I visited Mani Lux for the first and last time today. I paid $45 for a magnetic gel manicure. The young woman doing the manicure did not know what she was as doing. When she asked for help her supervisor came over and gave her about 20 seconds of advice and then left. Later when she asked for help again her supervisor ignored her. My nails were clean, no polish, and all that had to be done to them was minimal filing before the polish was applied. After 1.5 hours I had to leave for another appointment. I have done my own nails with gel polish many times, the process should not have taken more than 45 minutes at most! At that point she had applied 5 coats of polish to one hand and three coats to the other hand. You can bearly see where the magnet was applied--mostly because she cured the nails before she used the magnet on most of the coats! After I came home tonight I read up on the process and now know that she had no idea how to apply the polish, and her supervisor must have known that and had no problem with me paying an extra $15 for nothing! I suspect that her supervisor is the owner, but I don't know that for certain. I gave two stars because the young woman did a good job on my cuticles. I don't find fault with the young woman--she needed training! read more
