I met Vy when I first walked in and let her know I might not do polish due to a mark that looked like a bruise on my toe. She said bruises on the toe take forever to heal and even came to look at my toe when my old gel was removed. Vy set my mind at ease! Mia did my pedicure and was so sweet, funny and extremely gentle! My feet felt great!! When I was checking out there was issues with the card reader and Henry kept apologizing profusely even though it wasn't his fault. She kept sighing loudly, didn't say a word to me and didn't ask if I liked the color until my entire hand was completed. I wasn't going to have her redo the entire hand and I wouldn't have had the time to do so. I've had this same color before but they usually do more of a solid base color to make it look better - I didn't know the white dip she used wasn't what was used on me before. The top coat is lumpy and scratched. I had booked for a dip powder manicure and as you can see, the manicure part was not done. I usually get my nails done every 2-3 weeks, have been to countless salons around the US, and this was my first time trying Ultra Nail Boutique. My go-to is dip powder on my natural nails. The best for healthy, sturdy, long nails! First, I love that you can make an appointment online, it makes it a very easy way to see all the time slots available and pick the one that works best for your schedule. You can pick the type of service, time, and nail tech of your choice, or have the system pick for you. So, even though appointments are required you can get an appointment within the hour. Y'all my nails grow FAST and as an airline pilot, due to our uniform policy, my nails are required to be under a certain length. I usually have to have them file and cut about a quarter to a half inch every time I go in. This was the first time, literally the FIRST time, that the nail tech just said "ok" without giving me a hard time about it! Unknowingly to her, I was so relieved! Thank you Van! Van did an amazing job; she was thorough, precise, and very sweet. She shaped my nails with effortless perfection (which is actually so hard to come by). The salon was clean and beautifully designed. I enjoyed the calm peaceful atmosphere and the fact that the food network and HGTV was on with subtitles so I actually could know what was going on from across the room lol. It's the little things.
