i went to this nail shop on 03/12/25. i went jn to get my eyelashes and my eyebrows done. the owner vivian, she waxed my eyebrows. after that, she asked me if i wanted my eyebrows tinted. i said sure. the brushes that she used to apply the product, the brushes was dirty!!! two days later, i was at the er because my eyes was swelled shut. i went to show her what happened, she replied, oh ur lashes still looks good. never offer my money back or anything!!! when i went to the er, i had infection in my eyebrows from dirty tools she used on my eyebrows. everyone.....please be careful going to that nail & spa!!! its not clean!!!!! read more

I've thought long and hard before posting this review. I have been coming to this salon for about 2 years now since I moved to the Lake Wylie area. I've had mostly positive experiences, some not so great but I still come for the convenience. I was there Saturday June 18th 2022. I arrived around 11am and they were pretty busy. I was quickly seated in a pedicure chair and waited for service. Everything was going great. That is, until John, an employee of 2 months came to service me. Mid service he started making small talk, which I did not mind. However, he started asking me personal questions, and I remember mentioning I have a daughter. That is when he proceeded to ask how old she was? When I told him her age, he responded with "oh wow you started very young" which I brushed off, as I am a young mother not that it is anyones business. He proceed to ask if I was separated? Married? In a relationship? When am I having another child? Then said " oh people usually need to have a lot of sex before they can get pregnant so you were what, 17? That means you started even younger" like what the ****? Followed by saying people back in the old times had many children because they have no TV's, and all they could do is have sex. Then started talking about how "Latinas" have great bodies and big butt and boobs. And how Colombians love surgery and he loves Colombians. At this point I was super uncomfortable, but tried to keep it short and simple. The cherry on top was when he tried to tell me a "joke" which was " 3 women eating an ice cream, one licks it, one sucks it and one ate it.. which one do you think got married? - his coworker, a lady who name I don't know But was wearing a pink shirt with a surfboard or something like that overheard and just kind of giggled. This is sexual harassment and the fact that this salon would hire a person who talks to their customers this way is ridiculous. He mentioned it was his last day there as he is a truck driver and I'm glad he won't be back, but neither will I. I should have said something but I am not the one to cause problems. I just paid for my service and left. I know he eventually noticed I was uncomfortable because towards the end of service he kept asking "if everything was ok" because I was not taking. Updating my review.. Called to set an appt because nail salons like every other businesses have been short handed. Setting an appt was easy. But this time my gel manicure just went completely wrong. It was in a Monday at noon. It was overly busy. Two employees sitting in the back chit chatting.. The lady that did my nails just killed my cuticles. She pulled my cuticles like a snake about to come out of it. I started to feel really sorry for my hands and mad at my nails for having sooo much dead skin. The polish were very uneven.. And I can see it after she cured it. At some point I'm like why don't I just get up and leave.. til this day. I still ask myself why.. and of course I did not complain right then is because she look like my mom. From the glasses to her hairstyle. I figure it best to keep quiet. Tip her well and cut my loses. I've been hesitating to write this review but at this point, I feel it's necessary. After my fourth time receiving services from this nail salon, I've decided to not come back. Here's why- 2/4 acrylic sets looked good, the other 2 did not. DO not go to this place for designs. If you are looking for a very basic, 1 color, gel mani - you'll be ok but they aren't very good at designs. Everytime I've asked for rhinestones or a heart, they looked bad. But this is the main reason why - ive had 3 pedicures there from the same women (I don't know her name) and she has hurt me every time. When she gets dead skin under your toenail, she goes way past the quick. Usually I naturally jerk back and one time she said "sorry, lots of dead skin." While I get that, you should NOT be going so far underneath sometimes toe that their nail rises and you are extremely irritated and sore after. This last time, I let out a yell it hurt so bad and almost walked out. I just wouldn't recommend this place. read more

This was my first and last time. I received a pedicure with a stone massage and wax which was just okay. BUT, my polish completely came off 4 toes in just about a week and a half. OK, stay away from this place. Horrible customer service and a crappy nail job to boot. My daughter and I moved here recently so we went in for a gel manicure. They talked us into this S&S dip and said it lasted longer than gels. My daughters nails started to crack after 5 days and went back to have them redone. They only offered to do one or two tails and said they would gel on top of the rest. Hello... we paid over 130.00 with tip for something they said would last 3 weeks. Mine has already started to chip. But when my daughter refused to have 2 nail done when 6 were cracked she asked for a refund. Wait let me tell you they sat her there with acetone on her nail for an hour. Then they led her to their. Front and screamed in her face that they don't give refunds..."look on the sign in sheet" . Listen there are 5 nail places within 5 blocks, go anywhere but this place. Plus they have the rudeness to speak about you ..not in English as if you will not know they are speaking about you. So I have strong mixed feelings about this nail salon. I really liked the salon itself but I will never go to the nail tech I had today. I believe someone said his name was DJ. He was completely impersonable. When I walked in he told me to follow him and had me sit at the end of the manicure station. Without saying anything he started my fill in. It wasn't until he'd done everything but put polish on my nails that he even brought me the basket of polishes to choose from. He hardly said anything to me. Kept answering his phone. Someone else had to come up and offer me a drink after like 10 minutes (I chose white wine and it was warm and nasty). And anytime he hurt me or did something wrong he would say "oh you have a hang nail" or say nothing at all and keep going, making it seem like it was my fault. When he was filing my nails I guess he hadn't scored the side of his file because he sliced the side of my finger with the file. When I said "ow" he stopped for a second and then started filing again and cut it deeper (included in pictures). Later he decided it'd be smart to put nail glue on/in my cut. Which stung really bad. The pedicure was nice but too quick. And then when he used one of the cuticle pushers to like a hole in plastic lining in the bowl he ended up poking my foot instead. Again said nothing as if it didn't happen. Literally the only good thing that came from my nails was the final polish. I love the color I chose and the marble/swirl design. But that's the extent of what I liked from this experience. If I'd come back here I'd definitely request someone else (the reviews on Danny were really good) but definitely not DJ. read more

I moved here eight months ago and tried this salon three times. The first two visits were ok, nothing different then a usual nail salon. However, my last visit I got my first pedicure from this salon and the entire experience was disappointing, not to mention it has only been two weeks and it needs to be redone. So I called before I pulled up and the worker confirmed that they pour the SnS powder in another container so I was sold and went on in. The place is nice but small and it was 3 workers with no customers around 2pm on a Wed. The guy asked what service I wanted and immediately sat me down. He started drilling and offers very limited conversation. While my nails were soaking he gave me the SNS nails to pick my color from. I then asked for some wine it was not offered but the last make my requested mimosa. The guy took about 40 min on my nails so he worked efficiently but they aren't very social in this salon. I also could not get comfortable in the chair it's a weird setup for the nail bar area my feet couldn't stretch out lol. May be minor to some but I'd like to be more relaxed while getting nails serviced, so yes I'd recommend this nail salon but I'll still keep looking to find one with the perfect atmosphere AnD separate the SNS powder. read more

This was my first time going to this nail salon as I just moved to the area. I had Kayla do my pedicure and she did a great job. I really enjoyed speaking with her during my pedicure. They do not currently have massage chairs, so if that's something you're looking for then this is not the place for you. Hannah did my manicure. I got French SNS. She did a good job, but my nails do look a little sloppy. The lines aren't very clean and crisp like I prefer. And they have the line at the bottom of the "pink" part. The major reason why I gave it only 3 stars was because of the price. It was extremely expensive. My pedicure was $40 (extra $5 for French) and I only got the most basic pedicure. French SNS was $45 and they charged an extra $10 for a "manicure" which included cuticle cut and hand lotion. read more

I really like this nail spa, Denny does a great job on my nails now that I got him to understand I like them really short, with no tips - they look classy & beautiful. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is I feel very rushed every time I'm there; while I don't want to be there too long and spend my day at the nail place, I feel super pushed on picking color, etc. He tries to get started on my nails before I can settle in, really. He is very good but seems very much a multi-tasker, trying to get started before the customer is ready - going too fast to clear his chair for the next customer. Case in point, the last time I got a deluxe pedicure, Denny put foils on my nails to soak while I was trying to relax and enjoy my pedi. I could not drink my wine or use my phone. I believe he told the young girl to hurry on me so he could get me done. The lady next to me got the same pedi, started before me and I was finished before her - I don't feel like it was worth the money at all. You pay extra for the Deluxe Pedicure to relax and enjoy the leg/foot massage. The young girl also started painting my toes WITHOUT a base coat...?!? I mentioned it and she restarted. On my last manicure, I didn't get a pedi but asked to have the color changed on my toes. This girl also did it without a clear base coat, which will yellow the nails. And because I was so pushed and rushed to pick colors, they don't match my hands so I had to redo my toes after paying this salon to change the color. Again they do a good job on dip and I appreciate not having to sit for hours (a problem at some salons), but I wish they'd slow down - this is a treat to myself and I don't want to feel like I'm on an assembly line. I also wish they had more colors. The next time I go will be my birthday and I'm going to specifically ask him to do my nails first and let me relax through a hopefully unhurried pedi and leg massage. And I'm taking my time picking color! A mani is not as great when you feel it's not the right color because you were rushed in choosing. read more

I have never been treated like this in my life. I wish I could give them a negative star. I walked in for the first time to get a gel manicure a week ago and they convinced me to get a more expensive polish that they said would last longer than a gel so I agreed. Less than a week later they had all cracked and chipped. When I went back in to see what they could do they treated me so disrespectfully. They made me sit around for an hour with acetone on my fingers then when I asked to speak to a manager to have them simply remove the work they did to my nails he threatened to call the police. I have never been treated so horribly at a business before. They made me leave with the surface of my nails all sanded off and refused to do anything about it. read more

I am new to the area. I came here because of the nice location and all of the positive reviews. I went for a mani and pedi. I started with the pedi and showed my inspo pic for my nails. I was told that it could be done. Which is why I proceeded to receive service. My pedicure was $52. I got a layover on my big toe because a piece was missing. They tried putting a tip on my toe. I had to tell them over and over again that I did not want a tip but just a layover. They're very aggressive in suggestions. I also told the person what color I wanted my toes, she proceeded to place the wrong color on my toes. I did not want to argue. When it came time to my nails the person who did them was nice. However she did not do them the way I requested. My nails were suppose to be $75. But with me leaving out the design it went to $60. I left out the design because it was not turning out how I wanted it to look. I have never received a $60 French tip.... Overall I would not go back there and I don't recommend anyone else to go... they're scamming customers by charging a "processing fee" it's $2.00 to swipe your card. That is very illegal.
