There is Dog poop in front of the store on many occasions. Also saw a dog inside at night. And they sell stuff for babies?

I've been coming to this place six years. And it's not changed much…read more This place is packed is like sardines in a can. However, if you're willing to sift through out the items might find a few gems. The prices are fair, but to tend to run on the high side. There is definitely an array of goods to rummage through. And through appointment and hand selection of items the store accepts, it makes for quality picked used merchandise. Finally -- it's nice to see that they have a phone number posted now. This business didn't have one connected to anything for awhile. I believe this happened around the time the new owner, Lupee bought Growing Pains. Once I had an appointment and brought some gently used baby items in I was given the option of store credit or money. The store credit being higher. I don't remember if this was before Lupee bought the store. When the phone number for the business went dark I wasn't sure how to make an appointment for bringing my baby things and kids things in. So I started just dropping them off to create space in my home. I realize this isn't the most ideal situation since the items could go to a non profit so I've stopped this. If you're looking to make a little extra cash or store credit this is an ideal place to take your items.

I don't know how this store has so many great reviews. It is far from impressive…read more The clothes and baby gear they are selling is outdated and overpriced.

From our very…read morefirst appointment, she truly listened to our concerns and made us feel heard, supported, and understood throughout our baby's tongue-tie journey. What stood out most was her whole-body approach and the way she helped us see our baby as an individual with his own rights, preferences, likes, and dislikes. She gently reminded us that even at such a young age, our baby communicates with us, and that respecting his cues is an important part of supporting his growth and development. Shari provided thoughtful guidance, education, and practical tools that empowered us as parents. She helped me understand how I could actively support my child's tongue tie journey and gave me confidence in my ability to recognize and respond to his needs. We highly recommend Shari to any family looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and holistic approach. She has made a meaningful difference in our family's journey, and we are so thankful for her support.

Shari has been a life saver! I wish I was educated on tongue ties and lip ties sooner. I came…read moreacross Shari because my 2 month old had a side preference on nursing and would get super frustrated and stop nursing. She was also very gassy and clearly uncomfortable. Shari worked with me and my baby and checked her for a tongue and lip tie which she ended up having both! Before I could get an appointment to get it revised she taught me so much about body work and how it all affects baby's feeding. With the stretches and techniques of full body massaging baby, working with her mouth, neck, head, nursing got better. I was able to nurse her on both sides and we worked on latching. After her lip and tongue revisions, I continued doing everything Shari taught me and I haven't had problems since. This baby is my third and last so I thought I knew it all. It has been such an emotional experience and Shari saved our nursing bond. She is very nurturing, kind, and informative. She has a lot of knowledge and experience. The only thing I wish was done differently was the fact that I didnt go to her sooner!

We decided to allow her before she goes back to school…read more Originally I wanted to go to a local piercer but to be honest, in the oakley and Brentwood area the reviews were not great. I decided on Claire's. Most reviews seem to have nothing to do with piercing so I knew I was rolling the dice. It was a wonderful experience. First, the website is easy to use. I logged online and was able to secure an appointment in under 5 minutes. We went within the hour. Melissa greeted us, we explained we were there for her first time piercing, she looked to my daughter and told her how exciting this would be and put her at easy. She showed the medical grade piercing options. Piercing was free with a purchase of their medical grade earrings (about $60). I signed paperwork online authorizing the service, took just a couple of minutes. My daughter said she was so excited but I could tell she was getting more nervous. Melissa offered her to squeeze a stuffy while she lined up the dots. Verified with me and then she went to work. The first puncture my daughter was shocked, she said it was a pinch. The second earlobe a little more painful. She gave us the instructions: wear 24/7. 3 weeks in and then she can switch them out. Clean 3x a day for 3 weeks. Wear 24/7 for at least 6-12 months. Plus they give you the maintenance solution. She ended up grabbing some great body spray (the salted caramel was so decadent- loved it!) and then on our way. I highly recommend. I observed hygiene procedures beforehand and after. Thank you Melissa! Two thumbs up!

My daughter of course panics with the second ear piercing and the lady just leaves us. You would expect some more polite behavior but it seemed like she wasn't having it . Recently I came in with my 4-year old daughter to buy a gift for someone. I was at the showcase looking at the Ridge wallets, trying to decide what to buy. One of the sales associates, a lovely young lady came up and walked me through all of the Ridge wallet options (they have a lot) and even broke down the different models, colors, and materiel options of the different wallets. She noticed my daughter next to me and offered to give her a super cute sticker, which was very nice that they do that. For those parents out there they know how much a little sticker means to a child. I made my choice of wallets and started looking around at the knife counter. She was also very knowledgeable about the knife options available and took out a few from the case to show me. She provided exceptional customer services and I was very impressed with her knife knowledge. Once done she checked me out and made me aware that due to how much I spent, 150+ I get a free PB hat. She took me over to the hat section and showed me the options to choose from. This hat is now my favorite hat and I have been wearing it everyday. After choosing a hat we wrapped up and she let my daughter pick out another sticker. My only complaint is I wish they put the cashiers names on the receipt so I could acknowledge this you persons exceptional customer service, knowledgeable of the product, and attention to detail. I will update this rating later once I figure out her name.

I buy plenty of shirts at one time. A 3xl that I removed the tags on and wore was just too big even after washing it. I thought I would be able to exchange the one with tags for a 2xl, but was told no because the time to exchange was 30 days. I'm not asking for store credit or a refund, just an exchange from a 3xl to a 2xl. As someone who has spent my hard earned union money here for years I think this is ridiculous. I guess I'll have to buy my work clothes one tshirt at a time and from a competitor. Edit: Kris J I messaged your business page with my direct line. I'm not comfortable posting it here.
