So thorough, clean, efficient. I walked in for a pedicure in the middle of the day, they took me right away and I got the best service! I usually get a ukrainian manicure and this salon knew exactly how to remove it properly and cleaned my nails so nicely. Thank you Kevin, and I would highly recommend him and this salon to anyone! read more

I have been a regular client of Maniluxx since it opened in 2017 and I'm happy with their service every time I visit. The place is quite spacious (which is important for social distancing requirements) and always clean. Let me add that it is always beautifully decorated that it looks more like a cafe than a normal nail salon. There are a lot of nail polish options and the nail technicians are quite helpful in recommending colors that will suit you. I personally don't really care who does my nails because all of them take really good care of me - whether it would be Terry, Mimi, or Kayla. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this nail salon if you're looking for quality service and value for money. I recommend calling for reservations especially on a weekend (but I believe reservations are required now). I can't wait to return and be pampered again. read more

I've been living in Manassas for a few months and I've been trying to find a nail salon I can make my regular spot. I avoided Maniluxx for months because of the negative reviews but it's walking distance from my house so I decided to give it a try. The people were very nice and I was happy with my nails. If I could give one request to it would be to wipe down the nail stations with some Clorox wipes daily. They just opened for the day when I got there and i was uncomfortable putting my wrists on the leather cushion because it was so dirty. My wrist are itching now. They are a bit pricey so I was not able to tip, but I will try them again. read more

This place was pretty good but won't be my go to. I am looking for a regular place in Manassas and I think I found one but it's a little far. I wanted to try one last place closer to home so I tried ManiLuxx. The nail tech was super nice and the salon was very clean, but I won't be going back here. I got a pedi and an SNS dip. I loved all of the pedi options and I'm how the nail tech manicured my cuticles with the SNS because sometimes they don't do that. I didn't like how there weren't pedicure chairs but benches with backs. I couldn't exactly sit back and relax. My nail polish pedicure quality wasn't 100% either. There are some gaps between the coats in the sides. I was pretty vocal about my nail shape but my nail tech couldn't nail the oval shape. Mine are more squoval now and I'm not a fan. Finally, it was pretty pricey. I opted for a more expensive pedicure because I wanted to pay for a foot massage but unfortunately I just got a few minutes of lotion, not a true massage. My SNS was $60 which is way more expensive than other places in the area. I would give this place a try! It might be for you but won't be my regular place. read more

Really enjoyed the pedicure I got there. It's a nice sized salon, everything is really new and looks very fresh and crisp! There aren't any massage chairs which I personally don't mind bc those chairs never really do anything other than shake me lol. I came in on a saturday, I made an appointment as they are preferred. When I arrived I was promptly greeted and was seated within 2 mins. Their pedicure menu is really robust, with prices ranging from $30-$75. I didn't get the name of the technician that worked on me but she did a really good job and took her time with everything. Definitely one of the best nail salons in the area! Looking forward to getting other services from them in the future. read more

I went to the Grocery store yesterday and saw this little gem while I was there. The nail salon just opened and appeared to be super clean and modern so I made sure to go this morning as soon as they opened. The salon is beautiful. Very sleek, modern, and clean. Some may hate it but the chairs for pedicures are not your standard reclining vibrating massage chairs. Instead it's like a comfortable couch that doesn't massage. It's insanely comfy though and the foot rests are more comfy than the plastic ones on the vibrating chairs. The couches also have outlets and USB ports for your device! No more killing your phone battery while you get a pedi! I opted for a spa pedicure and gel manicure on my visit today. The staff were nice and attentive. They did an average job on my nails. No complaints. I really liked the products they used. They actually used half an orange on my legs and feet! You can't get more natural than a freaking orange!!! I gave this place four instead of five stars simply for the wait. They only had three techs working creating a wait. More staff would be appreciated especially on a weekend but other than that I would recommend this place. With time and more staff this place is going to be a hit in Manassas. read more

Water was great lady who did my feet was nice also . Ended up paying $50. For the service.to me I don't think it was worth 50 in my opinion but I will be coming back . As a very busy person I didn't see Terry's response till today a whole year later. To clarify about my "husbands" that Terry is referring to let me start from the beginning, I work in IT for a consulting firm, I got married in June of 2018, I was too busy to write a review about my nails but still seething about them so once I found time I wanted to warn other women about my experience. I saw Terry June 13th of 2018. He did the crap job that day. My wedding was on June 21, 2018 in cancun Mexico at Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and spa. If you want proof I can add my wedding photos.. And now to prove my point he is still badgering a paying customer. No one wants to have their nails done by someone who disrespect them and tries to slander them. I live 2 blocks from the salon so I use to go here because it was convenient and the ladies did a good job for regular gel mani and pedis, till that day happened. Shame on Terry who is supposed to be the shops manager and suppose to resolve issues and supposedly cares about their negative comments. I hope everyone sees this and sees how this "manager" solves problems with paying customers. read more

ManiLuxx has been my favorite nail salon for several years now. I've never had a bad experience and even if I just get a pedicure I leave feeling fresh and pampered. The salon is very clean and beautifully decorated. No blaring televisions, just soft music playing. The chairs are comfy and covered in fur throws and pillows, which I love. I don't need a chair beating up my back while I get a pedi. The nail technicians are very professional and personable, offering a full menu of scents and services. Yesterday I enjoyed a mani/pedi with relaxing massage and came out with pretty toes! read more

Tried this place out because it was close to home. 77.00 dollars later for my nails and I must say I probably won't come back. The ambiance is very nice. The employees are nice, but the quality of my nails left me not pleased. I asked for ombré pink & white. The dip powder was done on me. Then about 5 layers of pink gel polish. I've never had that many layers of polish. Then dipped back in the white powder I guess for the ombré look. But I knew it wouldn't look ok because the polish to adhere the dip powder was not used. So now I have spotty white ombré. Nails are very lumpy. Not quite sure what the diamond "crown" look is about when I asked for gold flakes or sparkles. I'm probably gonna have to get this removed soon if it doesn't chip off by itself from being so lumpy. I had a flight to catch so no time to correct. read more

I feel so bad, I forgot to tip because I was fumbling around trying to find my card. So I figured I'd leave a review to try to make up for it ): This place is awesome. I came home to visit from Richmond and had just gotten my nails done the day before I came down. Well one broke while packing my bag. So I came here to get it fixed! She pointed out that some of my nails were actually uneven! So she filed and buffed all of them down and gave me a new nail for the one that broke. They also offer you beverages including tea! They also offer a lot of cool healthy alternatives for acrylic nails. This is a really cool spot and they actually care about your nail health! read more

Worst gel manicure I ever had! The gel was popping off after 4 days. I did go back but they were far from my location so it was time consuming and a bit long drive. The guy was nice to do them for me only better so 2 stars for him only! I also had a pedi done and it was the worst. She didn't clean my feet well nor massage properlly or at all. My feet looked as they did before and not only that the nailpolish started chipping as well within days and that has never happened. read more

Great choice! They have a clean and well decorated salon with decent music. Friendly technicians. Great selection of complimentary beverages and comfy pillows on each chair. The prices seem average and the quality of work was good. I got SNS powder dipping with extensions for the first time and I'm very pleased with the outcome. I'll definitely go back there! This place is a hidden gem, an oasis from the hustle and bustle of this town. I love that they provide an organic option for people like me who ops for a more natural lifestyle. Ask for Terry, his attention to details is unmatched ... speaking from a former sailor who has lived in multiple cities and visited many nail salons. I'm picky and do not like bubbles or uneven polish. Terry likes to do a good job and will make sure you are happy. If you have extra time ask for a massage from Mimi. Conveniently located near our house this was our first time here. My daughters and I wanted Christmas mani/pedi's so I called Sunday and was told to come in an hour. We were pleasantly greeted upon arrival and offered refreshments. My little one got started first then my older daughter and I. I enjoyed my pedi(it was long over due)and so did my girls but we all missed the usual massaging chair. I liked the little touches of the warm scrubs for both and the orange with the pedi. My older daughter said her scrub wasn't warm and they skipped the cuticle oil on her. Even though my little one was started first she was the last finished which was a little annoying as I like her to have the most drying time. My technician never went back and cleaned up where she got some color on my skin. I didn't notice till I was dry and ready to leave. Since we were short on time at that point I chose to just leave. I do think cleaning the skin should be a standard practice. Over all we had a good experience and the pricing seemed fair. I do wish they had a take home menu with prices, I was told it's online but I only found a list of services, no prices. Edit: multiple nails are chipped. So much for Christmas nails read more

Husband got me a gift certificate for Mother's Day to get a manipedi done that I've been wanting and needing for sure. It had been such a long time since I've ever had them done professionally that I couldn't even tell you when the last time was that I did. Anyway, I love this place! The lady who did my nails, I can't remember her name, was great! The inside of the salon is very clean and everyone is so nice. The price is ok, but worth every penny. I have waited a week to write this hoping it was just my hair in "shock" or maybe the way I was parting it but no, I have a horrible hair cut. Here is my experience. I went in on a Monday afternoon just to see if on the off chance they were taking walk in's...they weren't. The man at the reception counter was a little snooty and put out when he told me he was alone and had an appointment coming in but booked an appointment for me the following day with another stylist. I returned 15 minutes before my appointment time filled out the card and was taken right away. The stylist was super nice and I will not call her out here because of that. However, I went in looking to have my bangs fixed as they looked like a 2 year old cut them, they were long and falling into my eyes, heavy and a little crooked. I also wanted some face framing fringe and maybe some long layers. She listened and asked all the right questions. She checked in with me a few times but it was too late the damage was already done as she cut my bangs first. They were SHORT way shorter than we had discussed, but they were wet. Then came the blow dry. She knew they were too short as she dried them straight and flat to my forehead. I asked for them to lay right at my eyebrows but no amount of flattening would get them there. They looked awful, but there is no fixing too short bangs. I should have said something but..well I was already starting to get upset and didn't want to cry. I did ask if she could fluff them up a bit and she admitted she purposely dried them flat. I felt the other stylists looking and judging, but that was most likely my own paranoia. I did give her a good tip because she was so nice and I just wanted out of there. Over this past week I have discovered that not only are my bangs a full 1/2 inch shorter than we discussed, but they are crooked and lopsided as well. The face framing fringe is non existent as it is just 2 "layers" one 3 inches shorter than the other. There is nothing anyone can do to fix this. I could have done better cutting my own hair with a Brad Mondo YouTube video. Now I am wearing hats or wearing clips to clip my bangs up and wearing ponytails. Think 1980's front bump-it style only flat and with WAY more hairspray. I know it is only hair and it will grow but I am a woman of a certain age and 1. should not have "baby bangs" and 2.my hair has never grown fast and now it grows even slower. The shop was cute and clean. I can't say the people were nice as I only interacted with my stylist long enough to form an opinion. And she was SUPER nice...just possibly not on her best game. I hate leaving bad reviews but I can't look in the mirror at this monstrosity that is my hair without wanting to cry. This is the only time I have left a salon looking worse than I did going in.

I'm so excited to have found Maniluxx. After not living in the area for about 16 years, when I went to the dentist a noticed the salon. Yesterday, which was a Friday I knew they closed at seven. When I called to ask what I was looking to have done and made sure they knew I couldn't there til about 5:45, they assured me it will be alright. True to his word they were awesome. Due to back issue I'm unable to shave my legs and do my toes. Terry and Mimi did the waxing, it was so much easier when two people do this, less time on a table. Quinlan, did a fantastic job on my pedicure, she's very sweet, even though it was closing in on closing time she did not rush. Then it was a few minutes after 7, and Kayla started my nails. She was super sweet too. Instead of the brush on acrylic she did the dip in filler and I have to say I can not go back to the brush on acrylic. Much nicer when finger nails are not super thick. I also keep them short, and they look so awesome and beautiful. Also, I love how they decorated the salon, pedi stations are group by two, with more room between each couch/chair, (they have also included USB ports for charging our phones. iPhone and you can't quote me, but I think it's Samsung). They are not the wore out recliners with what I call the torture chairs, only because my back can't take. I prefer to sit up straight. Besides my new found love for all things Maniluxx, it's much closer to where I live. My disabled Aunt lives just beyond the shopping center, so it will be easy to bring her along with my fun loving Sister. Thanks again to the gang at Muniluxx, see you in two weeks!!! read more

I live in the manassas area and have been looking a nail spa and I came across this spa on Yelp and I absolutely love it here. Based on reviews I requested Kayla and she is really good. They offer I my organic and healthy service which I love. She is gentle and detailed which I love. The gentleman Terry, that works there is so kind and attentive to my needs. Always asking if everything was ok, if I was happy and started pleasant conversation. As we all know most nail salon techs don't talk to you and kinda talk among themselves but not here.
