I've been with Dr Marolia's office since 2014 when my first baby girl was born. The consistency of his office is incredible, Monica has been the only person to ever take either of my babies vitals, growth checks, and administered vaccines. Stephanie has been the only one to ever check us in and make follow ups. It really helps the parents & kids trust to see the same faces that become comfortable familiar to us through the years. Multiple 3am call backs as a first time worried mom. Dr Marolia is compassionate, caring, and actually hears you. I will always recommend his practice. I had a mild rash, so Dr Marolia prescribed me a cream and simply instructed me to "apply this until it is gone". I used it for 3 weeks and developed vast, permanent stretch marks all over my thighs. I then visited a dermatologist who said I was using a potent topical steroid that required attentive use. He also said that pcps commonly prescribe this too casually without emphasizing the consequences. Because I was misinformed, I now have permanent stretch marks. read more

Dr. MAROLIA has been our family's primary care doctor for three years now and I have nothing but great things to say about him! I have an 8 year old child who is on the spectrum and Dr. MAROLIA is always patient and gentle when he comes for a visit. Whenever we have forms needed filled out for my son's therapy, Dr. MAROLIA and staff are always willing to help. My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Marolia for a year now, and we have been super happy. He is a very nice doctor, who is super smart and stays current on the latest medical issues. I like how he takes his time and answers all of my "new" mommy worries. His office is nice and easy to find with lots of parking. The only drawbacks are that the doctor usually runs 20-45 minutes late to appointments and if any labwork is needed you must go to a seperate lab (which I'm not used to). But he is worth it because he will always spend lots of time with you. Oh! And His office is in suite # 303 not #203! read more

Dr. Marolia was the first doctor my baby was scheduled to see after he was born. Since the first appointment with him, my boyfriend & I knew that we definitely wanted our son to have him as his doctor. The nurses here are great & gentle with my little one & the office itself is clean. I also really like how they play movies for the kids, it keeps my little one distracted while we wait. Dr Marolia has been my kids pediatrician for 4 years now and he's amazing at what he does. Very gentle with kids. Willing to hear what issues your having with your child. Was accommodating to same day appointments when my child has been sick. The office staff are friendly. Wait time is no more than 20 mins at most. Messages are relayed to provider and Dr Marolia always calls back at the end of the day to address any issue your having. Overall amazing pediatrician. first impressions... not so good... i was recommended here by my OBGYN.. i made an appointment and came in early only to find out after i completed the paperwork the DR was at a meeting and it would be over an hour after my appointment before I would be seen... no receptionist bothered to call and let me know in advance which i find unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time.. so i cancelled and rescheduled... since he came recommended I thought the least i could do was see him once before making my official judgment.. Second time around was definitely better than the first. I was taken in to see the doctor within 5 mins of arriving. We discussed what i was there for and he was good at explaining answers to all my questions. read more

I have been taking my son here since he was born, and I absolutely love Dr. Marolia! When I first meet him in the hospital when my son was born he was cracking jokes and we talked about Star Wars together. I never wait more than 5-10 minutes in his waiting room. The nurses are so quick with what they do and even when they administer shots they do an awesome job! If I need to bring my son in that day they are great about scheduling me the hour after I call. Dr. Marolia is the best. I have been taking both my children here for 7 years, and they absolutely love him. Always has same day availability and if I need to get ahold of him he is always there. My daughter got sick over the weekend with a cold and I called his office which allows you to leave a detailed message over the concerns you have. I didn't expect his call right away since I know Drs have lives too (which most parents think they don't), he immediately called me and called in the prescription for her. Dr. Marolia has been our children's pediatrician for 13 years now. My husband and I have also been seeing Dr. Marolia for ourselves for about 10 years. We are so pleased with the care that our family has received from Dr. Marolia. He has always been patient, kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. When our daughters were little and we were apprehensive about the vaccines, he was more than willing to let us separate them out. He also let us read the inserts that come with the vaccines, and he took time to discuss our concerns with him. Anytime we have had blood work that had an abnormal reading, he makes sure that we are connected with the right specialist. His recommendations have been great in that regard. When we are on vacation and have a medical need, he is attentive and makes sure we are taken care of. We are so pleased that Dr. Marolia is our physician. read more

We first met this doctor at the hospital when our newborn was born. He was recommend by our doctor. At first, Marolia seemed okay. Checked out the baby. But he didn't ask many questions, which we thought was odd. The second time we saw the Dr. was the day that we were leaving the hospital. Again, he didn't ask questions. He just looked at the baby and gave us a few pointers. That was it. We wanted to give him another shot, but we were losing hope. We went in for a 2-day follow up after we went home from the hospital. Our baby was 5 days old at this point, and was down 1 lb from his original weight. The Dr. said nothing about this drop in weight. He also never looked at our baby's circumcision either. Again, he just gave us a few pieces of advice. We were the ones asking all the questions. He was not very personal and never did he ask questions about our history, etc. Nor did he do any other tests or checks. At that point, we gave up. We wanted to find a new doctor. This was a joke. It was our first baby, and we deserved a little more help and advice. Worst of all, is that the Dr. wanted us to come back in 2 weeks. Really? My baby needed more food, but he failed to recognize that. Lastly, when we found our current doctor, it turns out that our baby was still down 1 lb. She noticed this right away and had us do a few tests, as well as put us on a supplement for our baby. We wasted a whole week of our baby's weight problem by listening to Dr. Marolia. Had he suggested us to supplement right way, we would have been in a better spot. Dr. Marolia seems like a nice guy. But when a doctor doesn't check your baby throughly and set him up on a plan, I have no problem walking away. read more

So first off Dr. Marolia is DOUBLE board certified. I think that is pretty cool. So he is my MD and my baby girls as well. That's convenient. He is super nice and caring and more importantly super smart. His staff are very nice and laid back. I wanted to weigh my babe in the first weeks and they would just let me stop in a weigh her. I went to another office and I had to make a nurse visit appointment and they made it a big deal etc. They changed locations tho. So make sure to ask what building. (they are walking distance apart tho) My first impression of the office was of the dirty office chairs. I really wish they would get new ones. I almost walked out the first time I went there. And the office staff are not what i'm used to as far as being over the top professional. However, they are very nice really do a good and efficient job. We started going to Dr. Marolias new 2nd office in Aliso Viejo almost 3 years ago. He is the primary care physician for both my kids and I. They are not professional and not helpful at all. Every time we went for one of our daughters appointments, we ended up having one problem or another with them. My husband, I, and our three kids have been seeing Dr. Marolia for over eight years. He is fantastic! He is knowledgeable, takes time to explain things, never makes us feel like he is in a hurry to move onto the next patient, and most importantly, makes our kids feel special. I started taking my kids here in late December 2013, first impressions were not good. We arrived to the address provided which was basically an abandoned building, After several attempts to get in touch with his office we finally got through and were given a real address, in which we packed the kids up and drove to the proper address (not so convenient). Waiting room time is a good 30-45 minutes (remind you, this is with an appointment) every time we've been which is difficult for toddlers to wait so long. I explained an existing problem one of my sons had in hopes to see a Specialist only to be told to "wait a few weeks see if it improves" (which it didn't! I ended up having to take him to the E.R, again, not so convenient) After a few appointments with him I finally was given his O.K. to send me to a Specialist, the one he sent me to was in a grungy building in the most rugged part of Santa Ana (BTW, that Dr was a zero star, never-go-back-to kind of Dr) the Dr prescribed my son medications in which he isn't old enough to take therefor the insurance denied it. After a couple months of seeing Dr. Marolia for this issue he says he is concerned, but never has an answer to what is wrong or where to go. My son still has not received proper diagnosis or treatment. My other son I brought in with his brother (they were both scheduled to be seen) He never got around to checking out my newborn even though I told him he was scheduled and was a NICU baby, never seen by a DR, and was currently over 2 months old at the time, his response was "there wasn't enough time" we "need to reschedule" which was very unprofessional, especially because I made an appointment weeks in advance. Not to mention, he has the RUDEST staff I quite possibly have EVER came across. You are much better off passing this Dr up! read more

Dr. Marolia is an amazing, attentive, proactive, prudent Dr! He takes his time to listen to you, answers your questions, and doesn't make you feel rushed or incompetent for asking questions. I first met him in the hospital when I had my baby! I knew he was the Dr., for my family, right away. After I had my baby, I had hypertension for a while, my OBGYN kept thinking it was from my pregnancy, my OBGYN prescribed my blood pressure medications, I followed up with Dr. Marolia, he kept watching me, and realized, this can't be normal, because of Dr. Marolia's attentiveness, and being a PROACTIVE Dr. he saved my life, I had a fatal tumor that caused hypertension and tachycardia. If he would have kept brushing it off, or kept upping my dose in BP meds, my endocrine Dr. said, I would have died. I am so thankful for this Dr.! If I could give him more stars, I would. He is attentive with my kids, and always willing to go the extra mile to figure something out. My kids (2,7,8,12) all like him, and they have never liked any of their old pediatricians. Now, to comment on another person's bad review, in regards to a women's annual exam. EVERYONE (well maybe not) should know to go to your OBGYN to have your annual women's exam done. That is their specialty, I feel her review was superfluous, and sometimes people just have to complain and be negative for NO valid reason. He's a great Dr., hands down! I would also disagree about his staff, they are all good. Monica is great and sweet. Very patient. They aren't overwhelmingly perky, but that's okay, as long as they are doing their job!
