Dr Tiera Franklin was very thorough and professional. I was anxious about this appointment and she…read moremade me feel more relaxed. She explained everything there is to know with my annual OB exam. She was very skillful as well.

The doctor was good, and the care I received was appropriate, but wow, their billing/insurance team…read moreis incompetent. I had a minor procedure done (in August 2025) to relieve itching on a hypertrophic scar, and when I got my EOB, I found that it had been processed as "cosmetic." Because of this, insurance didn't pay for it. I assumed ARC would realize a mistake had been made and resubmit, but they did not. I contacted them when I got the bill, and got sent around and around in circles with various people who seemed very confused. I had to explain to them that I, as the patient, could not submit my own medical records or my own letter of medical necessity, and they needed to do that. After weeks of futile calling and messaging, I finally got a message from someone named Annette M. She said the letter of medical necessity was being sent. This was in October 2025. However, I never saw any indication that the claim had been reprocessed, and ARC kept sending me messages about my outstanding balance. I've sent several messages since then, with no replies. I contacted my insurance company yesterday, and received a reply today saying that they have no record of a letter of medical necessity being sent. The one that was allegedly sent six months ago. I expect that nobody at ARC will ever take responsibility for this, and they will simply continue to send me messages about the money that I "owe" them due to their own incompetence. edit: I finally received a reply today from someone named Natasha, claiming that the letter of medical necessity was sent, and insurance continues to deny. Do they think I don't know how to contact my insurance company and won't know they're lying? edit: still no reply to any of my messages telling them that I know the insurance company never got the letter of medical necessity, and that includes the message I sent with the contact form as recommended by the person who replied to my review. Literally nobody at ARC actually cares.
