Follow ups on lab results takes forever. No one from office calls back even after leaving messages on their portal and front desk.

Needed a new primary care physician so I decided to go here, yearly check up went smoothly but I called in one day with a simple question and the dr is too busy to even reply, still never heard back from Dr. Manjari. It seems like she does not care. read more

Great doctor, but the service at the front end has gone a little downhill since Natalie left. There's always some sort of problem in getting my prescription refilled. I make specific requests in my phone calls, voicemail, and emails to have it delivered to the pharmacy nearest my house, but it keeps going to another one. Or, it'll range from a one or three month supply. If it wasn't for the care that I get from Dr Ara herself, I would make it a bigger issue. My advice is make Dr Ara aware of your concerns so that she can be sure to give the feedback to the front desk. read more

As a Medicare patient, I have had difficulties finding a caring Dr. Sadly not many doctors do not accept Medicare patients; and those who do - have pretty poor yelp reviews. My first visit to Dr. Aravamuthan was an absolute delight! Frist, she did not make me wait 45 min. for my appointment. I was called in, a few minutes of my appointment. What a relief! Most Doctors, think, only their time matters!! Then, Dr. Manjari patiently listened to me, and prescribed some antibiotics, as I was coughing my guts out. She requested a complete blood test as well. Unfortunately, my condition did not respond to antibiotics. I contacted the office via email; and followed up with a phone call. The office called me - and suggested a different medication, which was called in to the pharmacy. Unfortunately there was a communication breakdown, and the pharmacy did not get the request. It was after hours, and I called the office, and they contacted Dr. Manjari. She phoned me promptly, and listened to me, and gave me some alternate medication. Thank God I was able to rest, and my condition improved significantly, almost immediately. In conclusion:..... If you want a caring Dr. you don't have to look far. You will not be disappointed with Dr. Aravamuthan. One comment... Yes, the office staff are great, and very responsive. I am 80 years, and find her exceptional as a patient, caring, compationate doctor, thoroghly understanding my needs. I've never had a problem with making an appointment, I've gotten the appropriate right away and my wait time is minimal. Dr Manjari is a good listener, also a good doctor with good bedside manners. The people that work for her are very nice, and helpful. read more

Absolutely disappointed with my visit with Dr. A. My mom and I had two appointment blocks with this doctor. We went on time and were waiting until the doctor came out and said that the vaccination my mom was to receive was not in the office, for which she took a day off from work to get. They called the day before confirming the appointment, however did not check if they have the vaccination in office then! For my appointment, the doctor did not come in at all. I wanted to discuss something with the doctor because I had an appointment, not just there for the shot, but was told the doctor can't see me because she is with another patient. Not sure if two patients were given the same time, but the doctor did not see me at all. Her staff just directed me outside as my appointment was "done". read more

I greatly appreciate that she took the time to discuss this with me on the phone in a very calm and civil manner. Let me start by saying I am extremely happy to have called Dr. Aravamuthan's office to schedule my appointment. The front office was cordial and efficient from start to finish - Being a new patient, I began to fill out the paper work at 1030AM for my 11AM appointment. I was called in at 1105AM and was seen by the doctor shortly thereafter (in less than 5 min, I would say). I was seeing Dr. Aravamuthan for a general consultation - She is very pleasant to talk to and above all, took the next 45-50 minutes to discuss my family's medical history, my lifestyle, work etc prior to making recommendations. Unlike some of the other experiences I have had, she promptly wired my prescription over to the pharmacy before I stepped out of the office and most important of all, suggested several preventive ways to maintain good health and combat stress. Overall, I found Dr. Aravamuthan to be very professional and genuine. She was very patient listening to me, which I find is a dying trait amongst the many physicians I have seen over the years. read more

Tried to make an appointment today with this doctor, her front office staff who answered the phone was some of the worst service I've ever had!! The woman could not understand me what so ever & I could not understand her. I'm not sure if she had bad hearing or if it was that her english and enunciation of words was very bad, but whatever was going on was unprofessional. I had to repeat my last name(which is very common) at least 7 times, until I got frustrated and told her just to Google it!! All the information I had given to her had to be repeated at least 3 times, which makes any individual frustrated and possibly doubting if this is even an establishment that I wanna schedule with considering what I went through on my very first phone call to the office. This doctor really needs to consider other options for his front office and who answers the phone. That first phone call is the first image and impression they leave with a new patient. It needs to be a great experience for these new patients because new patients are what makes and builds offices!!!! read more

My parents are patients of Dr. Aravamuthan for the last 2 years and I can most definately say she is one of the best primary care physicians I have seen. She is considerate, caring, very thorough in her care but not too pushy . She involves us in the decision making , which is much appreciated. Her front desk is always helpful and easy to get through, the phone messages are returned in a timely manner. You may also email her and get response, which make slife easier. My dad was admitted to OCH in June and she even came to see him in the hospital and it was a relief for him to see a fimiliar face. I would recommend Dr. Aravamuthan to any family or friends, as she is a GOOD DOCTOR. read more

I called last week to make an appointment to be seen by Dr. Aravamuthan as I have back issues and need a referral to see the Chiropractor. I waited over a week to see her because I needed the very first appointment of the day since I commute to the Peninsula. I arrived at 7:42am for my 8am appointment. They opened right at 8am. I had completed all paperwork required and brought it with me. I communicated to the Office Assistant (again) that I wanted to get 'right to it', and she said it takes time with new patients because of the forms. I told her I had mine - this part was more or less a breeze. She said she needed to call the Doctor to tell her I was there. Call? I asked where she was and she said, "sometimes in the hospital or around" I'm not sure where she was, but 8:30am, and she still wasn't there (30 minutes after she received the call). So now, I am still suffering from back pain, will need to find another physician, and had an icky start to my day. The Office Assistant gal was really nice and professional. I don't know Dr. Aravumuthan as a physician - she would have needed to have shown up for that. Still, first impressions... read more
