Lost Over $5,000 Due to This Company!!!!…read more ***Review for atlasmovingcompany.co*** formerly atlasmovingcompany.com, in Utah I hired Atlas Moving Company in December 2025 and the experience cost me over $5,000 in total losses. Here is the breakdown: Initial payment for services: $2,000 (company failed to complete move, didn't finish apartment clean, left behind bedroom furniture) Property destroyed by rat infestation: $2,500 (caused by company storing garbage near my belongings) Key replacement: $300 (company failed to return my car, house and mail keys) Additional storage costs and gauging: Stored my items in unauthorized storage unit, Apex Storage, and failed to obtain my permission to do so. They failed to place my name with Apex, and Apex denied me access to my belongings. The company withheld my property for weeks and I had to file a police report to track down my belongings and get them returned. When they were returned, extensive damage had occurred due to rats attracted by improperly stored garbage. Public records show the company was **dissolved** by the State of Utah during our transaction, and only reinstated after police involvement. The company has been unresponsive to my attempts to resolve this matter. Litigation pending ... warning ... they've branched into Idaho, beware Idaho!! This has been an expensive lesson. I strongly recommend using a different moving company!!!

Piano move is not easy, especially remembering how hard it was to get the piano downstairs a few years back, the past movers struggled a lot. These movers from Summit Piano blew me away!!! I went out of my way to clearly communicate my expectations before the move: everything needed to be fully wrapped and handled with care. They acknowledged it. They agreed. And then they showed up and did the exact opposite. They didn't even bother to wrap my furniture properly. My dresser and my nightstand were rolled out on a dolly with just a blanket draped over the top -- the entire bottom fully exposed and unprotected. I have photo evidence. This wasn't a mistake. This was how they operate. One of their movers was missing for half the move, and the rest of the crew took 30 minutes to drive across the street. Yes, literally across the street. The level of carelessness and unprofessionalism was beyond anything I've ever experienced. When I confronted them with proof, they first admitted the crew took shortcuts -- then quickly flipped the script and tried to claim that throwing a blanket over a piece of furniture is their "standard practice." That's not a standard -- that's pure negligence, and they had the nerve to defend it. They refused to take accountability. They denied the damage was their fault. And instead of making it right, they offered me a half refund and called it a "goodwill gesture." This company is a scam. They cut corners, gaslight customers, and hide behind empty policies when they're called out. Avoid 801 Moving Company like your furniture depends on it -- because it does. A…read moremoving crew of four arrived on schedule and were quick and careful loading furniture and household goods from our two story town home and a storage unit several minutes from my home. At my new house the unloading went very quick and they took great care to make sure furniture was placed in the correct rooms. The overall process from start to finish took just a little over fours hours. Just one more quick note to recognize Mike the contact person for Yard Birds. I worked here for almost a year and seen the supervisor almost get into a fist fight with the FEDEX guy because HE was going into the drivers vehicle and the FedEx guy was telling him to get out of his truck. I literally asked the owner a question, who told me to go to the front office lady , who told me to go to the HR lady, who told me to to go to my immediate supervisor who told me to go back to the owner. I don't think anyone could answer any of my questions. It took me several emails to get ahold of HR for several questions. The icing on the cake? A week before Thanksgiving they let us out early and then never called us back into work for FOUR DAYS! I told my leader if they were letting me go or if I had to put in my 2 weeks notice.
