I finally got to try this place out after having it on my bookmark for a good month or two. My family and I stopped by this place after having lunch a few doors down. I got the Very Berry Crepe, my sister got a Lychee Valentine's, and I got a Creme Brulee and Tokyo Pork Belly to-go. I absolutely loved my Very Berry Crepe. The crepe paper was the perfect thinness, each bite came off without any fight. The berries and filling had the perfect sweetness level. The taste was very similar to a yogurt parfait. No one else commented much on their crepe so I'm not sure how theirs were. My boyfriend stated that he enjoyed both the Tokyo Pork Belly and Creme Brulee crepes I got him. One thing we wish we knew earlier was, on the table, if you scan the QR code, they had a promotion/coupon for buy 1 get 1 crepe. I was first introduced to Eight Turn Crepe on April 1st when I attended a YEE that was hosted there. I enjoyed my crepe so much that I actually walked back inside after the YEE was over to purchase a crepe to go. I told myself I would make the 40+ mile trek again to treat myself for my birthday. I spent the next several days dreaming about the Tokyo Pork Belly crepe until I was able to visit again yesterday (April 6th). I came in and immediately Long greeted me by my name. It was awesome that he remembered my name from the YEE! I ordered the Tokyo Pork Belly crepe again and of course it sent my taste buds right back to heaven! I don't think I can ever order any other crepe because the TPB is that GOOD!!! After I had finished eating the crepe Long brewed up a fresh cup of latte and encouraged us to sample their gelatos. I usually don't drink coffee beverages at crepe places, but the latte that Long crafted was delicious. It was like a latte that you would get at an actual coffee shop! While I was sipping on my latte my girlfriend was sampling gelatos until she decided on a scoop of cream (honeycomb flavor) and pistachio. She really enjoyed the gelato! Thanks Long for the amazing hospitality! Below is my review from the YEE: Eight Turn Crepe is a cute little crepe restaurant with neat decor everywhere you look. One wall there's a big mural that's perfect for pictures, then there's another wall with ceramic figurines (for lack of a better description) of different crepes that they offer sitting on shelves, and even on ceiling they have these pretty O-shaped lights that form the number 8 when you look up at them. The owners did not take for granted how decor can affect the first impression. My favorite item was the seemingly 4 ft tall glass object sitting on the counter that looks like it belongs in a chemistry lab. I asked one of the owners (Jennifer) about it and she stated that it's not just for show, they will eventually be using it to produce coffee. That's awesome! The owners, Jennifer and Long (I hope i'm remembering his name correctly), were super friendly and always willing to answer any questions we had. We asked how they came about this concept, since I've never heard of a Japanese crepe establishment before. They said they were inspired from their trip many years ago to Harajuku where they fell in love with this style of crepes. I asked what is the difference between Japanese style crepes and French crepes and they explained that the batter is made out of rice flour so it's lighter (which allows for it to get crunchier) and gluten free. I learned something new! I ordered the Tokyo Pork Belly (minus kimchi) and WOW! This was the best crepe I've ever had in my life. I was worried that the pork belly would be cut a little too thick and dry, but that was not the case! The pork belly slices were cut thin and so moist. It was soooo tender and full of flavor as if it was marinated for days. It reminds me of the chashu at Tiger Den and Tamashi. The kewpie mayo and avocado were perfect because they added a bit of sweetness. The real kicker were the fried shallots.. I didn't realize that those were included so my taste buds were sent to heaven as soon as I tasted them. Everything about this crepe was perfect. I was mostly quiet while eating because I was just enjoying the feeling of euphoria that the crepe was giving me. As I mentioned at the start of this review, I actually walked back into ETC after the Elite event was over to get a crepe to go. I made the 50 min drive home and ate that crepe as soon as I could. I also had an opportunity to sample their gelatos. The owners were really proud to say that the gelato was made with real ingredients. They encouraged us to try it out and none of us had any regrets listening to them. Most of the other Elites were big fans of the mango gelato, which I have to admit was extremely tasty. It was as if you're eating a real mango. My personal favorite was the cream flavor. It's a honey comb flavored gelato that will make you feel as if you're eating honey itself. It was delicious! Eight Turn Crepe has become my favorite crepe place ever. I loved the Tokyo Pork Belly so much that I'm seriously contemplating making the 50+ min drive again this Saturday to treat myself out for my birthday! I love how fresh everything is made to order here, and the quality is great as well. I came here on a late afternoon with my niece because she was craving crepes, and I have been dying to come back since my first visit. I have been here a total of two times and I feel like they have the best consistency and texture when it comes to their crepes. Both times that I have visited, I have opted for the savory crepes, however my niece ordered a desert crepe, in which I thought was tasty as well. I got to take a bite of hers, and thought it had great flavors and textures, that melted together very nicely in the Harajuku crepe. For the savory crepes, I have tried the lox, and the lox combined with the truffle egg. One of the best crepes creation since I combined two of the best things ever... smoked salmon and truffle oil. Loved every single bite, and I still drool and dream over this whenever I leave here. Definitely recommended, and will continue to come back to try more selections! read more

I didnt know what made a Japanese crepe different than all the other French crepe places around. When I asked I found out that their batter is made of rice flour making these gluten free! They come rolled up in a paper cone which makes it portable and you tear the paper as you keep eating. So far I have been twice and tried 3 different sweet crepes. All were delicious! The Lychee Valentine is what caught my eye and made me want to come in to try it. It has lychees, raspberries, and rose custard cream - what more can you ask for?? It is light and not too sweet. Perfect! The New York Blueberry Cheesecake is a bit sweeter but very good as well. Lots of blueberry flavor with both fresh blueberries and a reduction. If you like cheesecake, you will love this. The Crepe Brulee is only available Mon - Fri so I'm glad the second time I went was on a weekday. This one was very good as well. The top has the caramelized sugar you would expect and sweet custard with strawberries inside. Mine is topped with mango sticks (in the pic). I ordered their specialty latte and their ham and cheese savory crepe and added a scrambled egg too it and it was DELICIOUS!!! I bit into the crepe without thinking twice and forgot to take a picture mid way through but ended up taking it anyways. So please forgive me for that picture. Ordered two savory crepes- the shrimp avocado and the chicken thai. Both were excellent in flavor. The shrimp avocado tasted more on the healthy side, very fresh. You can get the shrimp spicy so maybe that add a kick. My favorite of the two was the Chicken Thai. I really liked the sweet chili sauce they put on it. I like the concept of the crepe made like a burrito. It makes it easier to eat and enjoy all of the ingredients inside as a whole. I would def like to go back to try their dessert crepes. I was a bit skeptical about this place at first but it was surprisingly great. Tokyo Pork Belly Crepe was very tender and easy to eat. I'd recommend putting some Sriracha on it to give it some kick and more flavor. It's not very busy but people should give this place a try for sure. Great menu selections. On today's episode of BOUJEE or BOOTY: Let me start off by saving that I am not a huuuuge fan of crepes. But I decided to give this place a try after seeing the reviews and pictures. I went during their soft opening. There are both savory and sweet crepes, which is the variety I need. I love savory foods, but the sweet crepes are also very delicious. They have gelato also, which you can add to any crepe for $2.50. You can sample the gelato before deciding what you want. The crepes are an average $7+ each. Our total came out to be ~$11 for a crepe and scoop of gelato. We got the strawberry banana and a scoop of matcha gelato. Let me just say the matcha gelato was definitely the star of the show for me. The matcha flavor was strong, and the texture of the gelato was rich and creamy. Definitely worth the $2.50 in my opinion. The crepe itself was pretty good, surprisingly good for someone who doesn't care much for crepes. They gave a good amount of filling and the crepe itself was both crunchy and soft where it needed to be. The actual crepe was smaller than the display that they had but this was to be expected. It really depends if you wanna spend $7+ on a crepe to deem it worth the price. It was a bit pricey to me. Overall, the place was clean and the employees were nice. The owner (I assumed) seemed sweet. He made sure to give us enough of a sizable scoop of gelato for what we paid for when his employee got a smaller scoop. He also whispered to him and showed him what the size should be so I applaud that. I have stopped going to places where owners are super rude to their employees when they do something wrong so to see him treat his employees so nicely definitely makes me want to support the establishment. Okay, fine, i'll give you the short run on why this place is NOT the BUSINESS. - It was crammed when I arrived, and we all know that during this age of the pandemic, its not good to be in big crowds. Of course, they don't care, they want your money. - The service was terrible! The young girl working the register was absolutely rude. She saw me waiting in line for a long amount of time, and once it was my turn to order, she told to go to the monitors they have in the back of their establishment. (Basically these touch-screens to order). She forced me to do this, while she then took care of other clients. I get it, sometimes you hire young kiddos with no social skills to work for your business, but at least teach them CUSTOMER SERVICE! - Once I was forced to order on one of their screens, I felt uncomfortable because it did not seem clean, there was no sanitizer in site, and I did not want to touch it. - Once my crepes around, it was nothing special. I'm a huge fan of crepes. Tried a dessert style and regular. Both were very good but I wasn't a fan of the sauce on top of the egg and spinach but it wasn't terrible just not my favorite. I got the BLT and my wife got the Adzuki berry. Both were quite good. I would say it's important to eat the BLT while it is still really hot. It was great at the beginning but as I was taking my time eating, it cooled down and became considerably less appealing. These are also a bit difficult to eat, so plan your bites carefully to avoid launching bits of food onto your lap. Or the table. Or the floor. The place was busy, but food came out pretty quickly. Thankfully on a Saturday night, they are running all of the grills as fast as they can. Service was good. My daughters and I tried out Eight Turn Crepe today for lunch and we really enjoyed it. We've had crepes before, but this was our first time at Eight Turn. One of my daughters and I had the Shrimp and Avocado Savory crepe; it was delicious! The other daughter had the Chicken Teriyaki crepe, but she wouldn't share, so I assume it was delicious too. When then shared a NY Blueberry Cheesecake and a Crème Brûlée sweet crepe. They were also delicious, but it was a lot after the savory crepes. Next time, I would have savory or sweet, not both. What an interesting concept with a dessert that is not found everywhere you go. With crepes being the main specialty here, it is good to have a brick and mortar location that makes it stand out from neighboring businesses. Now I did have some trouble eating it because I'm not one to enjoy making a mess especially getting anything on my clothes. I'd definitely recommend that they have a tutorial for eating this because slightly confusing haha, but when there's a will there's a way. Meh. Had high hopes for this place, based on the reviews. Unfortunately, it just wasn't that good. I ordered the banana dulce de Leche crepe. The fillings were all cold and the crepe was room temperature. I'm guessing that the chilled fillings cooled the crepe quickly. The crepe itself was thicker than any other crepe that I've ever had. It was almost spongy. The caramel was super sweet. It just wasn't very good and, frankly, not even worth the calories. I would say it was mediocre at best and you can do much better with both your calorie and monetary expenditures. My advice is to go elsewhere. read more

Horrible horrible service... Went to this place after church on Sunday around 12:30 for the first time to try it out and we were highly disappointed. We ordered our food and not only was the wait very long even though there were not a lot of customers in the place but the employees behind the counter actually did give a damn. Their attitudes showed. Finally when our food came they forgot my husband's food, they acted like it was nothing and admitted to not having it on the order meaning after we ordered it the girl at the register did not take the correct order. They remade his food as we continued to wait but again they dropped the ball by leaving it sitting on the counter claiming the ticket was lost so instead of seeking who the food belonged to or asking they just left it to get cold. We requested another and as the time went on an hour and a half later we waited....after almost 2 hours and us finishing eating my husband still waiting it was disastrous.... I've been to Paris before and 8 Turn Crepe puts some of the creperies there to shame. 8 Turn's variety of choices, mix of Asian fusion, and added café nature is incredibly unique and will cater to anyone's tastes. Their service is fast, their workers are friendly, the atmosphere is excellent. When we went they were packed and busy but they still made sure to serve us quickly. Their drinks, hot or cold, are second to none. My personal favorite is their hot mocha (or hot chocolate if it's late), but you really can't go wrong. Their gelato is amazing too, having a place that serves sweet cream is always a treat. The prices are reasonable, the drinks in particular are indulgent, but it's worth every penny.
