Horrible horrible service... Went to this place after church on Sunday around 12:30 for the first time to try it out and we were highly disappointed. We ordered our food and not only was the wait very long even though there were not a lot of customers in the place but the employees behind the counter actually did give a damn. Their attitudes showed. Finally when our food came they forgot my husband's food, they acted like it was nothing and admitted to not having it on the order meaning after we ordered it the girl at the register did not take the correct order. They remade his food as we continued to wait but again they dropped the ball by leaving it sitting on the counter claiming the ticket was lost so instead of seeking who the food belonged to or asking they just left it to get cold. We requested another and as the time went on an hour and a half later we waited....after almost 2 hours and us finishing eating my husband still waiting it was disastrous.... Needless to say we will never visit this place again and will advise others to venture elsewhere for better customer service.... read more

I personally don't enjoy crepes. But this place was actually amazing. My wife and mother always rave about crepes and when we visited Houston we had to find a spot. I gotta say we weren't disappointed. My wife had the creme brûlée crepe and she absolutely loved it. My mom ordered a custom made one of Nutella and bananas. I tried the creme brûlée and it was absolutely delicious. If your crepe fan and or in Houston, I definitely recommend coming here. read more

Normally, I'm not a huge fan of crepes but I do adore these Japanese crepes! I got the Strawberry Nutella crepe with a scoop of Vanilla ice cream with it. Both the crepes and ice cream were soft and delicious! The crepes aren't hot out the pan and every "fold" had strawberries and nutella compared to normal crepes that are just spread out everywhere. I also loved that it came in a cone so that you can use your hands instead of a fork/knife (easy to take with you). I can't wait to try their more savory ones next time! read more

A one stop shop for dinner and dessert!! They had a wide range of crepes that were both sweet and savory along with a selection of gelato. They were having a special that allowed a free scoop of gelato with a purchase of a crepe. They had cookies n cream, chocolate, pistachio, green tea, stracciatella, vanilla, mango, and lemon. The lemon was definitely my favorite!! I decided to try their harajuku fruit cocktail, which was the best decision ever. The crepe was so soft and filled with lots of fruit and cream without being too sweet. One crepe is definitely more than enough to share with friends. I'm not usually one to leave reviews since I'm generally pretty busy (I work as a doctor and full time mom, during this pandemic I barely have time to even eat!) but man, oh man, do I have a story for you! Today I came in for my break and the two girls working were very friendly, a bit quiet but they seemed like introverts. Overall, I have nothing really to complain about, the service was fast and my meal was delicious. I was enjoying my break as I waited for my order until SHE came in. Let's call her Karen! Now I remember clearly that there was a sign on the door requiring a mask, for a moment I was worried that this sign was just for show. Karen paraded in without a mask with no regard for anyone's safety. When she approached the register, I heard one of the girls very kindly take her order before requesting she put a mask. I wish more businesses would do this because as a doctor I've seen too many cases and it's been very heartbreaking during the pandemic. KAREN began arguing with the girl until the other girl stepped in and also tried to reason with her before Karen threatened both of the girls that she would leave if they wanted her to and that she would never do business there again. The girls looked extremely uncomfortable but remained professional and agreed to let her stay. I absolutely HATE this type of behaviour and witnessing not only the expression of defeat but humiliation the girls went through as they apologised and let Karen have her entitled way was infuriating. During med school, I worked many hours as a server to pay the bills and I have dealt with many difficult customers before. I understand how the girls must have felt, being in a position where they are extremely uncomfortable but also having to be nice because "the customer is always right". I wanted to leave this review because I think the girls handled the situation very well and I hope more people understand how important it is to wear masks during the pandemic. They did a wonderful job however I do hope next time they just turn someone that away or were more firm in that situation. While being nice is always great, risking the safety of others has led the pandemic to where it is now. While I understand that the mask mandate has legally been lifted, when you see the cost of the pandemic in my line of work, I wish people would take it more seriously. I definitely don't miss being a server but it was such a throwback to my youth to see people that still behave like that! If I wasn't in such a rush I would've given Karen a piece of my mind! Overall, I think I'll be a regular here from now on whenever I can and if I see Karen again, I'm going to give her my professional opinion since she thinks she knows everything about the virus! read more

This place is in the "Asian Town" of Katy. Lots of parking outside but can be full on a weekend. The store is clean so as their restrooms. They have different selection of crepes. Sweet and savory. The crepe is really soft and fluffy. However, I was not happy with the amount of fruits they put in the crepe specially one crepe cost about $8.00. The strawberry banana with nuts has the right amount of sweetness. Delish! I am giving them a 3 because the staff seems like they are in a "slow motion" mode. Seriously. I went here on a weekday. There were only 3 customers inside including me. 1 already has her crepe. I waited more than 20 minutes. Woah, woah, woah! How do I even start to rate how awesome this place is? Well, let's start with a little background of Eight Turn. Basically, the deal is that this place is not your typical ordinary crepe place. Instead of the usual French crepes we see all around Houston, we are introduced to Japanese crepes. When I first walked into the creperie, I was welcomed warmly by the staff and they even helped me to pick what to get on the menu. I ended up getting the Harajuku Fruit Cocktail, the Matcha Stripe Truffles, and the Tokyo Pork Belly. Now let's ravish on these items: the Harajuku contains a variety of fruits and it tasted so good with the custard and whip yogurt that came with it. The Matcha Stripe Truffles are amazing as the gelato that was put on top meshes so well with the insides of the crepe like the matcha custard and the chocolate truffles. Lastly, the Tokyo Pork Belly. Honestly, I did not know how to feel about a savory crepe, I never had one before coming here and so, I decided to take a shot and try it out. Best idea ever. The Tokyo Pork Belly comes with pork belly (duh), kimchi, and other vegetables and it all came together to make a great meal! And while enjoying my crepe, I managed to get the opportunity to speak to the owners of Eight Turn, Jenn and Long. They informed me more about the creperie and how the crepes are made! Honestly, this place is truly amazing and unique. Eight Turn and its employees are doing a good job managing the place despite just opening.
