AMAZING! First time here. The restaurant is small, nothing fancy, and is run by a husband (Jeremy) and wife (Summer). There are just a few tables for dining in, and yes, it could use a bit of upgrading (they are a work in progress). The food here is delicious. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan with linguine, my partner had the stuffed shells, and my mother had the Calzone. The 2 dinners came with a choice of soup or salad. We both chose the salad, which was fresh, and the tomatoes tasted freshly picked! The Chicken Parm was perfectly breaded and cooked with a marinara to die for. The stuffed shells burst with flavor. The calzone was stuffed with Ham, mushrooms, and cheese. No skimpy servings here. Any time I try a new place, I want to save room for dessert. They have zeppoles (made on premises), cheese cake, chocolate triple tier cake, and cannolis (also made on premises). The cake was amazing and came from a local Italian market. The cheesecake must have been great, not a crumb left behind, and the zeppoles were so fresh and large. I can't say enough good about this place. Everything from service, food, and pricing was all above any expectations I'd had. This will be my new place to go for Italian. The to go orders were popping and delivery guys running non-stop. The pizza looked delicious too, next time we will give it a try. Support these folks. You won't be disappointed! A well-earned 5 star rating.

This pizza was great and delicious. For now on I'm buying from here. We'll cook the way I like it. Thank you.

Lunch specials!

Can't believe this place has been here as long as it has and we are just "discovering" it. We were in the area doing errands and decided to grab a quick and inexpensive lunch. We stopped in to take advantage of one of their lunch specials. We chose their two slices of cheese pizza and a soda for only $5.99. The half dozen tables were marked off so only 3 were available for seating (due to coronavirus). We ordered at the counter, grabbed a soda of our choice, and waited for our pizza to be ready. It was delivered to our table pdq and piping hot. The thin crust held its own and had a nice bite/texture to it. It was quite good. And for the price, a real bargain. Other lunch specials include a slice and salad; or pizzas and wings. They also have calzones, Stromboli's, and salads. If you're in a group or want more food -- like for dinner -- they have a lot of pizza and platter combos. Then there are the Italian standard entrees --- lunch costs less than dinner -- but both include soup or salad and garlic rolls. Oh did I mention their subs too? This place is tiny -- a real casual hole in the wall -- that does more take out than dine in due to their size. Considering overall -- even with a few recent price increases -- that meals are pretty reasonable, if you live nearby or are in the area, it's certainly a place worth checking out.

I had a long day and decided to skip cooking dinner and order a pizza instead. My standard order is half plain and half Hawaiian for my daughter. I called my usual place and they told me it would be $25. I thought that was too high for a pizza so I turned to Yelp to find a new pizza place. Mannino's popped up and when I called them the pizza was only $15 which was way more in line with what I think a takeout pizza should cost. They offer inside seating as well as takeout. The gentleman who took my order was friendly. He even gave me a call when I decided to make a pit stop at Publix to make sure that I hadn't got lost since it was my first visit. Entrees run from $11- $13 for the usual Italian pasta, shrimp, and chicken dishes, not $16 like the other place. Most importantly I liked their pizza. It was large, tasty, and had an adequate amount of pineapple and ham for my daughter. Since I dislike cooking in the summer heat I am sure I will be back to check out some of their other dishes. I am interested in their combo special of a large pizza, large antipasto salad, and 6 garlic rolls for $19.99. There is also a Tour of Italy for $34.99 that includes stuffed shells, baked ziti, meatballs, chicken parmigiana, a pizza, salad and garlic rolls. Mannino's offers tasty pizza and reasonable prices.

I've been here several times over the years, but this was my dad's first visit, and it did not disappoint. We started with the bison tartare, scallops with sweet potato purée, and the meat and cheese board. Every appetizer was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and the charcuterie selection was excellent. For entrées, we shared the wild boar ragù, pumpkin ravioli with sausage, and the ossobuco. Each dish showcased the restaurant's attention to detail and commitment to quality ingredients. The wild boar ragù was rich and comforting, the pumpkin ravioli struck a great balance of sweet and savory, and the osso buco was tender and flavorful. Our waiter was fantastic, offering thoughtful wine pairing suggestions that complemented the meal perfectly. I make a point to come back at least once a year, and every visit reminds me why. Consistently phenomenal food, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

She's lived here her entire life and is very particular about where she eats. She says a lot of her longtime favorite restaurants have really gone downhill over the years, so I was excited to try one that has remained consistently good. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza, which is pretty common in South Florida. Once you walk inside, though, you forget you're in a plaza. It's beautifully decorated with a warm European feel that makes it inviting and cozy. It's a good-sized restaurant, and my girlfriend mentioned it's usually packed. Since it's currently the slower season, it wasn't as busy, which is a little sad to see, but hopefully business picks back up when the snowbirds return. We were seated right away, and our waiter was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. The menu had an incredible selection of authentic Italian dishes, along with several specials listed on the board that all sounded amazing. We decided to share the meatballs and the Bolognese, and that ended up being the perfect choice. I also ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio. At $15 a glass, I definitely cringed a little because I always think about how the whole bottle probably costs around $20, and one glass is never enough! They also brought out fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Let's just say I ate far more bread than I planned because there was absolutely no way I was letting any of that incredible meat sauce from the Bolognese--or the rich sauce from the meatballs--go to waste. The food was absolutely spectacular. I honestly can't say enough about how delicious everything was. Every bite tasted homemade and full of flavor. For dessert, I skipped the sweets and ordered an espresso martini instead. They did a fantastic job. The last upscale restaurant I visited in West Palm Beach served one of the worst espresso martinis I've ever had, proving that just because a restaurant is expensive or considered "high-end" doesn't automatically mean the quality is there. This restaurant absolutely delivered on both the food and the cocktails. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience. This is definitely a restaurant I'll be coming back to whenever I'm in the Fort Lauderdale area, and I can certainly see why it's one of my girlfriend's favorites.

The ambiance gives off fancy, but the food wasn't worth the prices. I will say that their bruschetta is fantastic (did not take a photo). The large pieces of shaved parmesan with the pungent garlic mixed in the tomato and basil was delicious. I also really enjoyed my espresso martini (did not take a photo). The soup I ordered took forever to come out (did not take a photo). As we were waiting for our food, two tables surrounding us sent their food back so that worried us. As a result of that, it felt like it took longer than usual to get our meals since I'm sure the kitchen was scrambling to re-fire the meals sent back. My boyfriend ordered the lamb special and I went with the rigatoni alla bolognese. He enjoyed the lamb, but I was not impressed with the pasta. It wasn't horrible, but the pasta did not taste homemade or worth the money. Server seemed bored and uninterested. Did not offer to make any recommendations, but did give us free dessert of our choice for my boyfriend's birthday, so that was nice. The owner and other members of the staff personally delivered the complimentary key lime pie and sang him happy birthday. Would I return, nah.
