It was on a main road and i thought the traffic noise would be a problem but it wasn't. What was a problem was the room next door. It wasn't a guess room the family that owns the place lives in it. All day long all you heard was the door being slammed over & over. It was so bad the wall would shake. Not something you wanna hear all the time after you worked a 12 hours shift. Room looked clean but floors seemed like they hadn't been mopped in forever. Also they need to upgrade there mini fride ASAP!!!! Now the worst part in the room was the metal based beds. Every time you moved the bed squeaked or made a really loud banging sound!!! Needles to say we didn't get much sleep. The room was a nice size but they have the beds place way to close to the bathroom area. Also the TV sucks, it had like 10 channels. Key point the motel is located on a hill and has a really crazy uneven lay out. If you're disabled that would be a problem.

I like a thicker pillow to support my head, and these just were not cutting it. Really, the hotel is not a bad place. It's a bit old and run-down, but it is clean and usable. Food in the local area seems to be nothing but Tex-Mex, and you are going to have to drive a ways (and deal with the horrendous traffic lights of Tyler) to find any sort of variety.

They are renovating downtown so parking is limited when workmen are there but we found parking close by over the three days we were here. We requested room tidy up one time and it wasn't done. I'd suggest actually talking to Michelle or onsite staff about any issues. Room was clean and modern. Comfy bed and towels. Yes, walls seem thin. We didn't have any issues. Modern hotel close to everything. Bar downstairs. Just wonky.

All night long customers are in and out of their rooms slamming the room door causing a lid boom in my room and waking me up. The highway is less than fifty yards from this motel and is extremely busy and noisy with what sounded like cars literally racing well into the early morning hours. Other customers load and unload their vehicles slamming car doors and trunks, setting off car alarms and yelling right outside your door. The walls are thin and could bear neighbors sneezing and talking well after 2:00 am. The room was clean and comfortable but this doesn't make up for a terrible night's stay.
