I made an appointment for weeks out with the promise of a reminder call. First, the day they said they'd call to confirm the appointment came and went. It was snowy so I gave them a brake. Then, the date of the appointment came and went. NO call, no text, no email, nothing. Then two weeks later she had the audacity to call me acting as if I was the one who forgot. It was a small thing, but there's plenty of auto shops I can go to and I'm not giving my car to one who communicates poorly. I rely on it heavily and I need clear communication and timely updates.

This was in the middle of a holiday weekend and the tow guy knew the owners of the place where he towed my car initially which was at Scott's Mufflers. He said I should leave the car there since I was in front of it KNOWING they would be closed and out of town. I know this because I later in the evening found out that the shop was closed all weekend. I had driven from out of town and was scheduled to leave the following evening. Luckily I was able to get ahold of the owners to get my keys to the auto place I later moved my car to with the help of my insurance which is USAA as I am an Air Force Veteran. The owners of Scotts Mufflers were very courteous and professional and had they been open I would have done business with them. I had paid this guy out of MY OWN POCKET which I later filed a claim for. It was the biggest hassle I have ever had with a broken down vehicle from out of town and this guy didn't even care I was on a schedule. He could have been WAY more helpful like the other tow company I later received help from. He was so lazy and just cared about getting the money for the tow. Beware of this one.

His first priority was safety for me and my passenger when he stopped with flashers on to alert other drivers. Then he helped get me pushed around the corner onto the shoulder of East bound 40 Hwy where we could wait for a tow. Crazy traffic that time of day. The driver didn't have to stop to help -- as he was on the way to another emergency. But for our safety, safety of the car, and safety of other drivers he took his own time to stop and help. I'm am thankful for people who are all about helping others. Thank you to the driver (I don't have his name) and to Elmore Towing, and a couple of other drivers who helped push.
