This is a small restaurant with only a few tables. It does a lot of takeout. It's in a group of shops on the west side of 441 that's seen better days. They have two items here basically -- empanadas and tamales. You can see what is currently available in the hot case. You order and pay at the counter. We chose to eat in. We each got two empanadas. I tried their Peruvian one, but without the sugar added topping plus a ham and cheese one. I didn't care for the ham and cheese. The Peruvian one had ground beef and chopped eggs inside. It was decent. My husband got two of their beef ones. One spicy and one regular. I had part of the regular beef one -- and that was my favorite. The fillings were just okay. The "dough" part of the empanadas were slightly sweet and delicious. There's a large (pot holed) parking lot out front. Service was okay -- there was only one gal working the counter. Prices are very reasonable. I'm glad we came to try them. Now we know.

Great little spot for fresh empanadas. There are only a few small tables inside as it seems like most people do takeout. The Caprese Empanada was my favorite -- tasted like pizza. The Spicy Chicken Empanada was good too -- the outside of the empanada has a slightly sweet flavor. The coffee is good, but if you do not like sugar in your coffee, make sure you tell them.

Manny's in Margate. Peruvian empanada bakery, opened a year ago in an old quiet shopping center on 441. Super legit, very filled baked dough crust style, served traditionally powdered sugar dusted with lime and a spicy sauce. Legit cafe con Leche also. Tiny place, basically just baked empanadas. And they keep coming out fresh.

Box of empanadas and secret sauce!

Mannys empanadas was originally in coral springs and FINALLY resurfaced in Margate. This is a much smaller location, but the empanadas are still truly amazing. I ordered a a box of 4 Peruvian and 2 picantes ($18). Just to give you guys a visual, these aren't your typical frozen and thawed empandas. Instead, these empandas have a thin light crusty exterior and are stuffed inside with a very flavorful spices and tender browned beef. Also, the empanadas come with a tasty orange tangy sauce which, words cannot describe. I definitively recommend giving this place a shot if you haven't already!

Best peruvian/others empanadas in South Florida. It's like eating in Peru for real, the prices are very fair and the service is amazing, they treat you like a friend. I got empanadas once a week for the last 3 weeks since they opened. Can't wait for the whole menu!

Empanadas de pollo and empanada de Argentinia. Absolutely amazing.

I ordered the delectable Tiramasu Latte. I enjoyed the mix of flavors combined with a double shot of espresso, vanilla, almond milk, mascarpone cold foam with a dusting of cocoa powder. So many different types of Artisan style filled croissants, fresh Argentinian empanadas made from the freshest ingredients. The coffee beans are roasted in small batches and are very flavorful. The inside interior was spacious with plenty of seating. The decor was very cute and stylish for a coffee shop. Outside tables were available. The service was so kind, attentive and helpful. We decided to grab a bite and eat in. I'm assuming it's the owner who took care of us. Very nice and quick. We got a hot vanilla latte, a matcha latte with vanilla cold foam (lightly sweetened), and two bacon, egg, and cheese croissants. They make your food to order and bring it to your table. The sandwiches were hot and delicious. Now, onto the drinks. It's very challenging to find good quality matcha out in the wild. This latte was one of the best I've had out and about. It comes unsweetened, and before I mixed the cold foam in, I was able to just taste the matcha with the almond milk. It actually tasted like matcha, unlike most places. The cold foam was delicious and lightly sweetened just like I asked for. My husband loved his vanilla latte and the foam art on it was beautiful. It was a bit over $50 for the two of us with a tip, but for me I'd rather pay that and actually get food and drinks I ENJOY, instead of the mediocre at best stuff a lot of places serve up. Ambiance was nice, place had a steady stream of people coming in but it wasn't loud or anything. A very enjoyable experience and we'll be back!

No way this stuff wasn't pre-made a while ago. Oh yeah, part of a banana and one strawberry. Despite what the waiter said, I could tell everything was pre-made. It's about the same quality as the free "continental breakfast" most cheap hotels offer except at the hotel it's still warm and you get refills on coffee and the waffle is freshly made and hot enough to melt butter. No free refills on coffee here unless you buy their "pour over," and then you get one small refill. The strainer for the coffee was stained and filthy when it was brought out, so they're not using fresh ones or even cleaning thoroughly between uses. GF had a meatless omelet and a smoothie. Her omelet was hot so obviously it was made fresh unlike mine. I told the waiter my food was cold and he swore he saw them "take it out of the oven," but nothing I ordered would be cooked in any over other than a microwave oven. Total bill for two: $60+. This was with a 30% discount on my plate for my food being served cold. Honestly you'll have a better, fresher meal at IHOP or Waffle House or Denny's, for a fraction of the price and you'll get coffee refills.
