This French bakery is wonderful. They make everything fresh daily and important their ingredients from France. The chef comes to work early every morning and bake all these delicious little things. It was kinda cool that you can see him baking in the back. It was hard to pick when everything looks so good. I came in the afternoon. I got an almond croissant and a Pistachio and almond dessert. They both tasted great. I loved the flavors and texture. I wish I had ordered coffee lol. The person working the counter was helpful. She gave me a little background story on the restaurant and chef. I enjoyed it. * check out the little cookie bags they have at the checkout. They are good.

A GEM OF A BAKERY! I can't tell you how many times I have driven by this place, but never really thought of stopping here. But when friends mentioned meeting up at Pascal & Cathy Bakery, I was happy to try a new place. Sunday late in the morning, the tables outside were quite bustling on a beautiful weather day. Inside, this bakery is absolutely charming. There are some tables as well. The display cases are so inviting with various pastries, cookies, macaroons, gelato, and more. The people behind the counter could not be more friendly. My husband decided to order the Croque Madame, and I went with the brie and butter sandwich on a baguette. Our items came out quickly along with the lattes that we ordered. They took the time to put hearts in the milk foam. My coffee was delicious. I loved my sandwich and my husband was absolutely obsessed with his meal. You can also order the Croque to go, and they provide you with the heating instructions. On our way out, we got a turkey- shaped linzer cookie. The cookie was absolutely decadent with a beautiful berry filling and a nice dusting of confectionery sugar. Definitely the best linzer cookie I have ever had. Next time... and there will definitely be a next time...I have to try their macaroons. I am so happy that I finally checked out this bakery and feel so fortunate that it's in our neighborhood.

This is my go to be and brunch spot when in the Fort Lauderdale/ Pompano Beach area. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable his skill with pastries and chocolate is top notch! We purchased a birthday cake for my daughter 15th birthday and have been going back again and again over the last 3 years. They have vegetarian options and all the traditional breakfast meats and cheeses plus some special extras like grilled marinated chicken for the omelettes and other things. The croissants are my favorite and I always buy extra to bring back to the house or hotel. The place has a very quiet atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed and comfortable.

We live nearby and were searching for a French Bakery with good Baguettes. We decided to try Pascal & Cathy's for breakfast and hoped to find the best bread here. We entered the front door and found a small area with tables and 3 large cases of pastries, sweets, savory bites and ice cream. There were also a few tables outdoors. We were greeted and served at the counter rather quickly. We ordered coffee, a latte and a baguette with butter. We also got a plain and almond croissant. The coffee and latte were very good. The bread was much heavier than we expected although the crust was wonderful and it had an overall good flavor. We also thought the croissants were flaky but heavy inside and the almond croissant was very sweet for us. The nice part was it just came out of the oven. Our counter service was very good and our order was brought out to the table. Unfortunately, we are still in search of our favorite Baguette.

    A delicious Brie sandwich.

I got the Brie sandwich on a croissant. The croissant was flaky and warm, and the Brie was soft and smooth. The service was excellent and polite. I would recommend if you want an absolutely delectable meal!

I cannot say any more great things about this cute delicious authentic bakery. The chef is from friends and is extremely talented in putting together delicious bakery items. The waiters are extremely helpful in picking out some of the best pastries. Just make sure you get there early because they are often sold out by the afternoon. My absolute favorite pastry is the mini raspberry croissant. It is absolutely delicious with an oat milk latte. The pistachio roll is my grandmother's favorite. They also have a great selection of desserts and they have hearty breakfast items such as omelette croissants. This is one of my favorite places to go on a Saturday morning with my family. I can't wait to go back.

I went on Sunday with a group of (10) people. The organizers called the coffee shop a head of time, and was told that they do not reserve tables. At this point she should have chosen a different venue. The place is very small. There was a table that sat there chatting for 2 hours, and kids drew pictures. The staff said they can not ask them to leave, even though they are not eating. They Do not want bad write up on this forum. The food is fresh, but not memorable, and expensive. I ordered a plain omelette on a croissant, and coffee. The plate has no garnish, nothing but a croissant. They have limited sitting outside, table for (2). But if it's cold, not a good choice. You place your order at the counter & get it when it's ready. We had to ask to clean the available tables.

This place is very popular, I walked in and there was a fairly long line. Everything in their case looks amazing. They sell gelato, and chocolate croissants, Nutella croissants, raspberry croissants, pistachio croissants , doughnuts and quiche. They also sell baguettes and other homemade breads. We ordered lattes and I tasted both the raspberry croissant and the pistachio croissant which was filled with cream. Both were delicious. They have tables inside for sitting, as well as some tables outside. There is parking right in front of their store.

They tell you to wait to be seated, yet there is no one assigned to seat guests. The waiters can clearly see there is a line, but no one takes the initiative to step up and seat anyone. Management seems very unorganized. They should assign one person specifically to seat guests, and when there is no wait, that person could float and assist elsewhere. After waiting, I finally asked a waiter if I could seat myself. I sat down and waited almost 10 minutes, and no one even came to offer water. At that point, I decided to get up and take my business elsewhere. The service today was horrible, and it seems that as they get busier, the service gets even worse. I do not recommend this place at all.

It is an ocean-view king room. This means the room is on the side of the building but still had a great view of the ocean. You enter valet on the northern side of the building. The valet Matt was quick, friendly and helped with my luggage. Valet is $44 a day. There was a short line at the front desk but there were two employees working and it went quick. The $45 resort fee covers chairs and umbrellas on the beach and two complementary drinks. You can pick from a small list of drinks including beer, g&t and wine. They also offer a morning exercise routine. Monday was yoga by the pool. The room was large with a nice modern design, a small couch and side table and a nice balcony with two chairs and a table. There was a coffee maker and fridge but no microwave. We ordered room service and had breakfast out on the balcony one morning. There were games setup in one of the meeting rooms right outside the pool and free popcorn was offered daily. The pool was large with plenty of chairs but people did save seats early in the morning. I went down at 9am and there were about five seats not claimed and only around eight people at the pool. Everyone else started showing up to their saved chairs around 10am. The pool did get less crowded with fewer children as the day went on. By 3pm there were more open chairs available. The beach is right outside the gate. Along with the chairs and umbrellas there is a sand pit with toys for the kids, a tiki bar and volleyball net. The hotel is very clean with modern decor. It is in a very residential area so there aren't any shops or restaurants around to walk too. Everything is about a mile south near the pier. It was the perfect place for rest and relaxation which is exactly what I was looking for.

Housekeeping staff are super kind, and anything we needed arrived quickly! The negative: Don't waste your money! We paid $400+ per night (amenities included, valet separate) and found out the hotel sells $45/day passes to non-guests. We had an issue with our room, and the hotel could not move us because it was full. We were told we'd get 2 chairs, access to the private beach, and 2 welcome drinks. No chairs, all 4 days we were there (party of 8). The welcome drinks were gin, non-ach or wine... Service was extremely slow, the pool was overcrowded, and the staff was so cranky/rude that everyone seemed to dislike their job. For a hotel marketed as a remodeled, luxury spa retreat, this was disappointing and not what we paid for. The icing on the cake was waiting 30m+ to valet our car due to the influx of people coming and going, oh, and having to bring our own luggage up and down due to no carts. Spoke with Ricardo about our entire stay, and he just stared at my husband, then proceeded to say, "Well, when you go to Disney on a holiday weekend, it's going to be busy." Sir... when I go to Disney, I know it's going to be crowded because it's DISNEY. You're a Marriott selling $400+ rooms a night and over-crowding your hotel, causing your guests to not enjoy the amenities you're claiming to provide, then when we say we are unhappy, you don't even bother trying to work with us; you looked annoyed. I wish we read the comments before staying because it seems to be a recurring theme.

A few small tables set against the wall and a few larger tables on the outside sidewalk. Doesn't look like much thought was placed on the design here. Service: Didn't wait at all for one of those small inside tables. My server was efficient and served my tea latte exactly as requested. Little things can often make the difference between a successful dining experience and not and here were a few of the small things that were provided that make a difference. I ordered the pancakes and my server suggested a side of scrambled eggs. The food: I received two pancakes which were well done, light and fluffy and the perfect size. I also received plenty of butter (so many places don't give you enough butter) an ample amount of steamed milk for my tea (another area that always seems to be pretty hard to get right). One thing that always drives me crazy was the fact that my scrambled eggs were served in the same dish as my pancakes. I hate this as the syrup inevitably gets to the eggs. Fortunately, I had a second small dish under my tea (which is also a great thing to get, to place my tea bag). I used this dish for my eggs. Another nice convenience was the mug for my tea which had a handle that I could actually put my fingers through (another area that restaurants fail to provide). In addition, I also ordered a side of sausage which came in patties form and was pretty tasty. The Bottom Line: As always my "customer so what" would I come back? The answer, probably. Although the ambiance was substandard, the food was good the service was as well so, it more than likely would be worth another visit on my next stop in town.
