I ordered the breakfast platter, which came with hash browns, eggs, bacon or sausage and toast--simple, filling, and well made. I also tried one of their empanadas, which was delicious and packed with flavor. My friend had the breakfast sandwich which she enjoyed! The real star here, though, is the pastries. I tried a couple slices of cake and they were absolutely amazing--fresh, rich, and clearly made with care. There alfajors also melted in your mouth!! There's also plenty of seating, which is a huge plus. The only downside was the ordering process. Since it was my first visit, I didn't realize you have to take a number (similar to Publix) and wait to be called. I ended up standing in line, not knowing they were serving based on numbers instead. To add to the confusion, numbers were being called out in Spanish, which I don't speak. Once you know how it works, it's probably fine--but as a first-timer, it was a bit confusing. Simple restaurant, delicious treats! The bakery is located inside a different restaurant, Nahuen. Once you are inside they have multiple serving counters, and shelf's with Argentinian products. The coffee we ordered were delicious and simple. Very big cups. Service was good. The medialunas were delicious!! We got medialunas de manteca, vigilantes, some filled with dulce de leche. Well, I'm glad being near by paid off! Simply delicious! We tried beef, ham and cheese, and chorizo empanadas. The empanadas are crispy, flaky, and just so flavorful inside. Additionally, we picked up a small pastry as a treat. It was a sort of croissant pastry with pastry crème and dulce de leche. Excellent! The ambiance of the place is vibrant. Have been going to this place for a while for really good food and service, no complaints, but just noticed like prices went to the roof with some items after they moved to the new location with the new name. This place is the closest thing I can call to Argentina in South Florida. Prices have gone up and they are not cheap, saying that they are also not super expensive and it is worth coming every now and again. If you haven't tried a factura, this place amongst all the other Argentinian locations stand out because of they're variety and how closely they resemble the food that come from Argentina. If you haven't had a miga, trust me this is something you must try at least once. They have so many options from savory to sweet you'll lose your mind, just don't lose to your pockets, yes they're that good. L Factura is what an Argentinian pastry is called and a miga is a 3 layered sandwich with zero crust, oh you heard me zero crust. It's always soft and absolutely delicious. They also have Argentinian drinks, try them the sodas are a different flavor and it doesn't hurt to try something new. They are located off of University and Mcnab and speak both Spanish and English. Yelp to the Rescue! Found myself on a mission in this corner of Broward, arriving too early and having a half hour to kill. Great time to search my Wish list and found nothing noted anywhere close. So the next best thing was to see what the fellow Yelpers suggested--not disappointed. Milanos is bright, clean, and welcoming. Plenty of seats inside and out. Dog friendly on the outside, with an adorable Great Dane living his best life today. After a quick look at the menu and a deep look at the empanadas & pastries, I chose the $10 Milanos Platter. So much food, too much for me in one sitting. It came with an excellent Café con Leche and freshly squeezed orange juice (the only way I will drink OJ). With 3 large sausages and 3 large hash browns crispy as all heck, and a delicious roll that was perfect for dunking. As I did not want to waste any of this goodness, I did the respectable thing and slowed down. Milanos was a great experience! I tried different varieties of empanadas and desserts! The ham and cheese empanada was delish! I also enjoyed the dulce de leche filled pastry! They also have full meals with varieties of meats with steak and sausage. My niece and her husband ordered this platter and it cake with salad and French fries. You can also purchase different wines and Argentinian pastries. The only thing I was say it was very busy and crowded. But that is a good sign that it must be worth it and it was!! Good variety of empanadas, however the empanadas are on the dry side...i.e. the pastry of the empanadas are the flakier, dry type. The best empanadas are the onion & cheese and the mushroom. Amazing assortment of empanadas and pastries, sweets and the coffee was wonderful. Service was top notch. The space has some indoor and outdoor seating, well organized. The empanadas are Argentine style, baked with a crisp thin bubbly shell and abundant filling. The spicy beef has a fantastic kick! The chorizo was amazing, definitely recommend. Stopped in on a Thursday morning to grab some fresh Argentinian empanadas, it wasn't packed like I normally see through the window but it did have a line inside that moved swiftly and efficiently. I only ordered 3 empanadas to try, the spicy beef, chicken, and chorizo. I was not a fan of the chicken as it didn't have much flavor but the chorizo had a nice bite and snap to it, all baked to perfection. The spicy beef empanadas was good, hopefully i can try the spicy chicken next time. We also ordered two large fresh squeezed OJ, which was super refreshing! Service was quick and friendly! read more

If dining in your giving a number for your table (first come, first serve). The items are then brought out to you when ready. They serve Argentine cakes, cookies, baked goods, breakfast and lunch eats. I ordered their daily social, the fish n' chips. The presentation was nice. The food however fell flat. The fish had a nice crunchy exterior but was bland/flavorless and had a dense/overcooked texture. The fries were good. The side salad came undressed and with no dressing on the side. I was unable to get the attention of any staff member without walking up to the counter, which I opted not to do. So I left it there untouched. This is truly an Argentine bakery/restaurant! It literally took me back to my Mother Land The Facturas , Argentine Pasteries which are an assortment of buttered croissants, croissants filled with Dulce de Luche (caramel), some pasteries filled with cream, quince paste, and other items totally tasted and resembled all the Facturas I tasted in the morning drinking coffee or Mate' when I would visit my family in Argentina. The Taste of these Facturas brought me back to those memories. We also tried the Parrillada. Another Argentine traditional spread of meat. Everything was great! The only thing that was okay on that platter of Parrillada was the Molleja (sweetbread). It was over cooked for me. The rest being Short Ribs, Skirt Steak, Sausage, Blood sausage - DELICIOUS!!! The Russian Salad was very good. The Arugula Salad very good. Zucchini Egg omelette- Very very good! We also tried the Pan de Miga. They are layered thin sandwiches with an assortment of deli meats, egg salad, etc. The crust is removed and the sandwich are made thin and stacked on top of each other. Best sandwiches ever. The Empanadas were equally good! I of course had to try every kind offered. They had Beef, chicken, ham and cheese, four cheese, and many more. My favorite here was the four cheese empanadas. They sell chocolates and candies from Argentina. Bon Bon, Alfajores, and a huge assortment of Yerba for the traditional drink Mate', and a nice huge assortment of Argentine wine. I visited this place at least 3 times while my visit to Ft. Lauderdale. It truly took me back to my visits with my family in Argentina. Truly a gem. read more
