They had my car for over 4 months to replace the ISM, (I told them it was the ISM when I dropped it off) but they told me they'll look at it to determine exactly what it is. After a month of the car just sitting there I asked what was taking so long and the service manager told me that they were still trying to figure out "how to get it in the shop" since it's all wheel drive and won't go into gear. I requested to talk to Zack and was told he was on vacation and would get back to me asap. Well asap turned into several call attempt over the next few weeks until finally I decide to just go camp out at the shop and that's when mysteriously Zack appears. I ask him what's going on with the car and he started telling me about his staffing issues and personal problems and then promises he'll have a determination what the problem is for me when he comes back from "Vacation" (again?). Long story short, the part that they said I needed was on national back order and apparently there was only one available in the "WORLD" according to Zack. A few days after this conversation I call to get an ETA on the part and the service manager says he'll order it after we hang up. (Why hasn't it been ordered already?) then calls me back and tells me the part is unavailable but they can send my bad part in and have the dealership send it out to refurbish it but wasn't sure how long it would take. After we hang up I called the dealership and they told me that it only takes two weeks to order in the replacement. When I called the service manager back and told him what the dealership said he got defensive and said well that's not what they're telling me. I ended up flying to Detroit and buying the part from my old mechanic, when I get back a few days later I get a call from the service manager saying my car was ready and he asked me was I having any brake issues when I dropped it off (WTH) he'll no! He said you may want to come see this so I rush there and see my car in the air leaking from the passenger side by the rear wheel and they tell me after the ISM repair (where the hell did the part come from?) they went to test drive it and it had no brakes and tried to tell me that I'm lucky I wasn't on the highway when they went out. Mind you were looking under the car while Zack is running this B.S. to me and I have broken exhaust brackets. Anyway Zack offered to re run all of my brake lines for $5,000 but he wouldn't be able to get to it until "around" January, it's already been there for 4 months and it's October. I ended up having to sell the car.

That was frustrating, especially with a scheduled appointment. What really bothered me was the diagnostic fee. They charged $160 to diagnose an issue that turned out to be low fluid, something that felt pretty obvious and quick to identify. I've always understood that if you move forward with the repair, the diagnostic fee is typically applied or waived, but that wasn't the case here. The $350 for the transmission fluid flush itself seemed reasonable, but adding the $160 on top of that for such a simple diagnosis didn't sit right. Overall, not a terrible experience, but definitely not one that left me feeling great either.

Lie 2: "Your previous service tech stripped your oil pan plug" ( not possible since we had no issues driving it across country.) HUGE oil leak following the service. We call, their "Solution"? New oil pan needed. What? There was no oil in the vehicle a few days after they service it, so we had it TOWED to a certified BMW service dept ( the only places it has ever been before) and the damage done by Express Oil Change was so extensive ( they do not have the tools to work on BMW or the knowledge, so cracked oil pan and more..yes we saw this firsthand). Our bill was close to 5,000. and of course we are out the money charged by Express as well. Had we not seen the leak, the engine would have been done for! Bottom line.. How you do anything is how you do everything... Lies to get a customer in, only built on more lies. No integrity. I would not take any make of car to these people.
