Well worth the drive from Diamond Bar. In and out in less than 20 minutes - 10 minutes for the test and less than 5 minutes for the paperwork. They don't need your DMV paperwork because they look up your records via your license plate. Best of all was the price of $30 - most places can charge you twice as much. read more

Drove in after seeing the coupon on yelp this morning around 10:30. Its a self wash car wash and the person who helped us (owner? Maybe) was soo nice and quick! There was a car in front of us but after that he got to work on our immediately. There were two us and so he even brought out a second chair for us to sit and wait while he finished. After the pass, he gave us the certificate and receipt and coins for a free self car wash ! It was 30 dollars in total all together. Easy and quick and very nice, thank you so much! read more

Thought I'd take a chance on this new business. Was a bit skeptical but after the service and help from the friendly two person staff I was sold. $30 as of May 2025 plus I was given a free car wash. Manny's Smog service was great. TBH, I almost didn't find it. When I drove to the location according to my GPS directions, I thought I was at the wrong location because the stalls were for car owners to wash their cars. I totally missed the big SMOG sign over one of the stalls. The gentleman that helped me was very courteous and stayed true to the price $30 for pass or free if it fails. Same price for cash or card. He had some chairs in the shade on the side for customers to sit while they wait. It is outdoors, so keep this in mind on bad weather days. It took a total of about 10 minutes and I was done. They uploaded the results to DMV and provided proof of a passing grade. I will definitely go back for my next smog test. read more

Tech that did the test was very friendly. It was quick, about 10 minutes. The cost was $30, including the certificate upload. Located in a self-wash car wash stall, almost missed it, that was fitted with the necessary smog test equipment-- talk about low overhead!! Not only that but I got $5 in coins for a car wash in one of the adjoining stalls. Great experience would definitely use again. This is the best smog check place I ever used. I arrived as a walk-in, and 10 minutes and $30 later left with my "passed" smog check certificate in hand, which had already been transmitted to the DMV. Service was friendly and immediate. Y'all... I accidentally found a diamond in the rough…read more I called around 4:30, fully expecting them to tell me they were closing. Instead, this man says, "Come on, I'll wait for you." Not only that, he knew there was construction around the shop and made sure I knew exactly how to find it. That alone told me he actually cares about people, not just getting them in and out. The smog check was DMV certified, fast, and efficient--but not one of those places where they're rushing you out the door like they're late for dinner. He took his time, did the job right, answered my questions, and made me feel comfortable. He has one of those personalities that just feels like you've known him forever. Now listen... if you're on Holt, SLOW DOWN because you'll drive right past it. It's between Campus and Grove, and it's easy to miss if you're flying down the street like you're in the Indy 500. The shop isn't fancy, and it could use a little cleaning and organizing, but don't let appearances fool you. I'd rather have an honest mechanic than a pretty waiting room any day. I haven't used him for repairs yet, but he also does oil changes, brakes, and other mechanical work. Based on how he treated me over a simple smog check, I have a feeling I may have just found the mechanic everyone hopes to have in their back pocket. Good, honest people are hard to come by these days. This is the kind of small business I'd rather support over the big chains. I'll definitely be back. Let not forget the price was right. $56 something. Oh and some brownie points for thinking my old ass was young and my 15 year-old daughter was mine friend (yeah RIGHT!) P.S. However, there was a small difference, not sure if it's after tax or not. Online there's a coupon for $35, but in person they charged $40 for the coupon. I don't know if there's a fee that was missed or if they just never updated the price for the online coupon, but it's only a $5 difference, so nothing I'd make too big a deal over. The whole process took about 30-45 minutes. Be aware, there's no place to sit or shade while you wait, so plan accordingly. Since there was another customer in front of me, I had to wait for them to finish first and was hiding behind a truck's shade. Once it got to my turn, it was pretty quick. They also do take card.

Excellent service from Sam on completing our Smog Certification on a Ford Fusion. We purchased a…read morenew battery for the car just prior to having a smog check. This required a special drive sequence to allow the cars computer to activate to allow for the test to be made. We couldn't get accurate details on what the drive cycle process would be to complete the test from another smog station over a month earlier that had declared the car had failed to pass testing. Even the Ford dealer told us to just drive the car for a few more days and it would automatically re-set. It wasn't nearly that simple on this Ford. Sam was very helpful, pleasant, and enjoyable to talk to. He spent time with me on the phone the day before we visited his shop explaining the very likely reason the drive- cycle wasn't completed, and what it would take to resolve the issue. With his help the next day at his shop the car was cleared to test and the smog certificate issued, all within a couple of hours.
