I came here for a smog and honestly had one of the best experiences I've ever had in the years I've had to get one. Daniel was running the whole show by himself (juggling four cars at once) and I still got out in 20 minutes! That man deserves a raise! He was super friendly, efficient, and had me laughing with his Wienerschnitzel hat that said "I wieners." It was $40 out the door, and I came on my husband's recommendation (he's picky about car stuff). Now I'll be recommending them too. Fast, friendly, and fair pricing. read more

I needed to have my 2017 Nissan smogged. So I came to Yelp and found Ontario Smog. I saw there were many good reviews & so I came in today. It's located on Mountain/Holt north east next to Liberty Bell eatery. When we came today it was very busy, but don't let that turn you away. There was about 3-4 employees and they were quick. The service was fast and employees were nice. Checkout the coupon on their website. It was the best value than any other smog shop. I told my sister, she's coming here when her smog comes up later this year. I definitely recommend. read more

Customer service is great. Only waited 20Mins total which included my smog check and that took 10Mins. If you pay cash, you get a discount. $26.75 + $8.75 for the certificate. $35 in total. The parking lot is super small and there are bollards everywhere that divides the property. Make sure you get there at a decent hour before it becomes a pile-up. read more

Five star service to these men (Manny, Rob and Mike) at this Smog check station. I called ahead and was able to get an awesome deal on Smog test and when I got there the wait was less than 5 mins. The station was easy to find and I was pleasantly greeted upon arrival. I handed over my registration and ID, paid my fee and was able to enjoy the rest of the day. I just took my 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T here to get a smog check. Honestly I wish I can give them 10 stars. I totally recommend coming here if you need a STAR certified smog check. Upon arriving I was greeted by a guy (I think his name was Danny). He was very friendly, honest, and super chill. My only regret is I WISH I found this place sooner, it would've saved me some stress and a couple of headaches! It took about 15 minutes to get me out the door. There were a few cars ahead of me so I recommend getting there a bit early, for me personally it was no problem at all and I didn't mind waiting. They have a sitting area with a bench and two chairs that you can sit on while you wait. I live about 25 minutes away from their shop, but I don't mind making the drive. After today's experience this is OFFICIALLY my go to smog place. I'll also recommend my friends and family to go here too. The other guy that helped me out was super cool, funny, and knows what he's talking about. (I'm sorry I forgot to ask for his name, but he did have a couple of tattoos on his arms.) Thank you again! So grateful for Yelp! This place is the best place I have ever been to get my car smogged. When I pulled up, Danny & Anthony greeted me with smiles & took my car right in. A Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR) is provided with the completion of your SMOG CHECK and also transmitted to the DMV for your vehicle records. Once your vehicle passes, our system will automatically transmit your Smog Certificate to the DMV electronically, saving you time! I have a dozen vehicles, many of which are required to have a smog check test for CA registration purposes every two years. So I consider myself a pretty fair and e good judge of how efficient, friendly and value-oriented a smog check station is. For the last four years I have only used Mike and his crew at Ontario Auto Smog, a Star Certified Test Only center. Their friendly and efficient atmosphere makes handing over cash for a mandated service that nobody wants to pay for a little easier to swallow. My visits have been quick and even when one of my cars failed to pass the first time, Mike suggested what I needed to do before bringing it back for a retest. It took four trips for the monitors to set and each time back, he took a moment to analyze my situation for no charge. The location is ideal if you live in the Ontario/Pomona/Montclair areas. And while there are literally dozens of smog shops around, it helps to build a rapport with a shop that you know you are going to need sooner or later. Great team of experts, great service, great value and comfortable environment. Go see them. read more

Y'all... I accidentally found a diamond in the rough…read more I called around 4:30, fully expecting them to tell me they were closing. Instead, this man says, "Come on, I'll wait for you." Not only that, he knew there was construction around the shop and made sure I knew exactly how to find it. That alone told me he actually cares about people, not just getting them in and out. The smog check was DMV certified, fast, and efficient--but not one of those places where they're rushing you out the door like they're late for dinner. He took his time, did the job right, answered my questions, and made me feel comfortable. He has one of those personalities that just feels like you've known him forever. Now listen... if you're on Holt, SLOW DOWN because you'll drive right past it. It's between Campus and Grove, and it's easy to miss if you're flying down the street like you're in the Indy 500. The shop isn't fancy, and it could use a little cleaning and organizing, but don't let appearances fool you. I'd rather have an honest mechanic than a pretty waiting room any day. I haven't used him for repairs yet, but he also does oil changes, brakes, and other mechanical work. Based on how he treated me over a simple smog check, I have a feeling I may have just found the mechanic everyone hopes to have in their back pocket. Good, honest people are hard to come by these days. This is the kind of small business I'd rather support over the big chains. I'll definitely be back. Let not forget the price was right. $56 something. Oh and some brownie points for thinking my old ass was young and my 15 year-old daughter was mine friend (yeah RIGHT!) P.S. Great place for smog checks if you're in need of a quick and affordable place! They also have a…read morecoupon online, so I don't know what it'd be without it. However, there was a small difference, not sure if it's after tax or not. Online there's a coupon for $35, but in person they charged $40 for the coupon. I don't know if there's a fee that was missed or if they just never updated the price for the online coupon, but it's only a $5 difference, so nothing I'd make too big a deal over. The whole process took about 30-45 minutes. Be aware, there's no place to sit or shade while you wait, so plan accordingly. Since there was another customer in front of me, I had to wait for them to finish first and was hiding behind a truck's shade. Once it got to my turn, it was pretty quick. They also do take card.

Excellent customer service here…read more I came in at the very end of the day and understandably was invited, in the most friendly and welcoming way possible, to return another day and I'd be taken care of. Before leaving, I mentioned my car's battery had been dead for months: despite his backlog of work the gentleman set aside what he was working on, ran a quick diagnostic and informed me that the car's memory had been affected, to drive the car for at least 20 miles more before I return or it wouldn't pass. This was done for free where others would have charged over $50. I returned two days later, was promptly addressed and my car inspected, lickety split, and at a reasonable price. I'll happily be returning for future inspections.
