I came here because of Yelp in 2021, I looked up any smog check places that were local and found this one was the best one. I came in as a walk in on a Saturday morning and the gentlemen there assisted me quickly. I was in an out in 5-10 minutes! That is quick. They have a waiting area in their shop so I just waited there and it felt like time went by fast. I'd definitely come back if I ever need to do the smog check again. read more

Waited about an hour for NOTHING, sat there for about 30 minutes for the dyno itself to "calibrate" shouldn't the machine be ready before ur customers even get there? Gave me the run around the whole time, blamed his newley installed dyno machine on it sending "vibration so it wasn't fully reading??? Anyways if you want your time wasted this is the place to go. Offered me to come back a different day with a a discount but i will gladly decline this offer. Even if it was a 20 dollar song check still wouldn't take my car back here. Save you time and hassle and take it so there where they know what they are actually doing. Horrible experience read more

Needed to find a smog check place near by home and came across G&S smog check! They were very nice and they have a coupon you can use from there Yelp site! Highly recommend this place. They were fast, reliable and honest. They even provide you with a copy of the smog test that they send over to the DMV. I would recommend this place to my friends and family. Had to get a smog check. Prices are pretty standard so nothing to complain about there. Shop is clean and you get in and out relatively quick. Originally I posted a review about an issue regarding when paying by credit card; it seems however this issue has now been resolved by the owner. That personal accountability is something much appreciated and am happy to edit my review and give this place a full 5 stars. Again, this place was quick and easy, everything was probably 15-20min tops and I was able to complete the DMV registration within the next hour or two. My regular smog place is further away so I am happy to find a quality place close by. I would recommend this place to other and plan on coming back for future smog inspection needs. Clean shop. Nice guy. Quick. Honest. There is a large window so the test can be observed. He explained why it costs more for older vehicles to he tested. He gave me a discount ... just because. I came way out of my way to be tested here. He was recommended by a competitor whose equipment was out of commission. If a competitor recommended a shop, that's a good sign. read more

This required a special drive sequence to allow the cars computer to activate to allow for the test to be made. We couldn't get accurate details on what the drive cycle process would be to complete the test from another smog station over a month earlier that had declared the car had failed to pass testing. Even the Ford dealer told us to just drive the car for a few more days and it would automatically re-set. It wasn't nearly that simple on this Ford. Sam was very helpful, pleasant, and enjoyable to talk to. He spent time with me on the phone the day before we visited his shop explaining the very likely reason the drive- cycle wasn't completed, and what it would take to resolve the issue. With his help the next day at his shop the car was cleared to test and the smog certificate issued, all within a couple of hours. His quote for work was very fair for the testing and certificate, and he honored the quote provided on the phone the day before. The work was completed exactly when promised. Arrow Smog definitely has a new and permanent customer. We had a lot of anxious moments the past month thinking there was something seriously wrong with the Fusion where a few simple steps needed to be followed to correct the issue and get the car's new license plate tags for this year.
