Manoff Market Gardens is such a lovely cider spot. We tried nearly all of the ciders, and every single one was delicious -- there wasn't a miss in the lineup. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it a great place to spend time tasting and enjoying the space. We went on a weekend when they were hosting the Artisan and Wassail Market, which made the experience even better. There were so many talented vendors and such a fun, festive vibe throughout the market. It was clear how much care goes into both the cider and the events they host. First tried the cider during Philly's cider week and finally found myself in the area. Manoff is a farm store and cidery in the New Hope area. The two are connected inside which is nice. Service was fantastic , the person was super knowledgeable and nice. The decor and prices leave a bit to be desired. It was very expensive for a pour. I was surprised. The cider isn't my fave but if you love earthy farmhouse ciders you'll love it. There's a lot of potential here and I hope they invest more into the actual space. read more

This is the first cidery I've been to so it's unfair for me to go to 5 stars, I'm at 4.5 though based on taste and atmosphere, I could go higher. I've had this on my list for some time as ciders are one of my staples. The orchard/ cidery is deep in the countryside, but worth a voyage if you are nearby in the towns of New Hope and Lambertville. There is a farm store with cider to go as well as produce, prepared foods and other local items. In another section there is a tap room with a bar for tastings, most of the tastings were on tap, with a few from bottles too. If I recall the cost was $15 for 5 pours, I'm sure you can ask to try others as well, my friend got an additional taste of their strawberry rhubarb which is the bottle I ended up buying. The aforementioned cider was the sweetest of the ones we tasted, but by no means sweet. These are all dry ciders which I prefer, each was distinct and if we had more time we would have tried several more. The outdoor seating area was very inviting and chill, with a fire pit or two and live music while being in the middle of an orchard. The staff was friendly and informed, esp the very nice young lady working in the farm store . The have a cider club that helps lower the cost of bottles and includes perks, I'm planning on joining! read more

On the property, there is a market where you can buy fresh vegetables, local jams and peanut butters. Right next door is the cidery where you can try the different options available on tap or order a flight which gives you 5 two ounce pours to try. The ciders lean more on the dryer side of the spectrum with a crisp taste. My particular favorite was the Zing that was made with ginger. This was among the sweetest ciders available. read more

We get our Manhoff Cider at the Doylestown Farmers Markets Market on Saturdays but they have a whole store in New Hope filled with goodies. Wonderful people running it and delicious "hard" and non-alcoholic apple cider. read more

Every peach I've eaten from the mixed basket I bought has been delicious! And the blackberries are beautiful.

Very friendly people running the place. Nice size farm stand. Really good apples and ciders. They have a baker that only drops-off on Fridays (disappointing since we were not there on a Friday) and we disliked the marmalades- they were bitter- the pith was included. They also sell a tiny bit of knick-knacks like homemade jewelry and cloth remnants. All-in-all a pleasant place to visit. read more

My husband and I happen to stumble across this place. We purchased some jams, coder, apples and pears. By the way the apples, pears and regular cider was amazing . We then went to the cider shed and learned about hard ciders and were able to taste the various varieties . It was very informative and the staff was friendly and informative. This is a FARM owned by people in my community. They know trees, fruit, seasons, rain, bounty and loss. They are intimately connected to the earth and the unpredictable climate. They run the cash register, plant the trees, fight pests, pick, pick up, prune, replace lightbulbs, sweep the floor, do the books, hire and fire people. They do it ALL!! This is their farm and largely their home. Don't have to go to the movies to see how challenging their career choice is. This is non stop hard work for 11 months out of the year. I can appreciate their hard work every time I go there. The fruit is amazing, the place is neat and clean. They have beautiful gifts, now hard cider which is great fun, and are happy to help with making and shipping gift baskets. NEVER had an unpleasant experience with anyone and I've gone here for 20 years. MAYBE it's who YOU are when you go that makes the difference. read more

For years now, I have been going to Manoff's. What I like about it is that there is a large selection of seasonal fruit, baked goods, local eggs, jams, jellies, kitchen knick-knacks. In apple season there are many, many different kinds of apples including heritage types that you have never heard of! It is a family run business which is rare and everyone is very helpful and friendly. Wonderful place to buy fruit. I have been shopping here for years and it is probably my all-tim favorite place to get fruit. Why? Because everything is always delicious and extremely tasty. The owners are truly passionate about what they do and it really shows in the fruit they grow. I am always finding new things to try and they also have gorgeous flowers. Manoff Market Gardens is located in New Hope Pa. I am never really in New Hope but I dont live too far (40 minutes away in Souderton). I made the trip to New Hope on 9/12/20 to look for pumpkins, gourds, flowers and other fall like decorations for the outside of our house. We stopped at Manoff Market Gardens and it was a neat little farm! The parking lot wasn't the best and it was cramped but compared to everything else it isn't too bad at all! While we didn't find what we were looking for we got freshly grown white peaches which were fantastic!! We also found some neat pancake mix which are saving for the perfect occasion! They also had a wide variety of wines, baked goods, fruit and other food to look at! The employees were very friendly and informative. A younger girl informed us of a wine tasting night they had and told us about the different flavors. The older casher was friendly and funny as well! We are local and have been going there for years. Stoped in yesterday for some strawberries. My wife, daughter and I are literally the only people in the store and I get called out by an aggressive owner for not following the little kindergarten arrows on the floor. Are you kidding me?How about calm down and use some common sense before you have a little power trip meltdown and just tick off more customers. There are plenty of farm stands in the area that don't harass customers trying to buy products. Ridiculous behavior. Take your meds for Gods sake. read more

This is a fabulous place for fruit and other goodies. Amy (owner) is so sweet and knowledgeable. The whole staff is very friendly. They have pick your own and buy at the market. They grow their strawberries in high tunnels and they are the best in the area. They also have great blackberries, raspberries, peaches, nectarines and apples. Stopping by a farm for some fresh fruit, a nice idea, right? NOT!!!! We innocently saw a sign for a farm offering peaches & blueberries. We decided to go check it out. We drove into Manoff farm. We walked inside getting a nice "welcome". We began looking around. A small display of fruit & gifts plus a small offering of samples of their peaches & blueberries. We tried their white peach samples. They were truly awesome as were the blueberries. At $5 a pint, we decided to pass on the blueberries. The pints of peaches were also $5 and there were 4 peaches to a pint. I began to look at the peach pints. I picked up one peach to check its ripeness. Doesn't everyone do this? I put the peach back. Immediately one of the owners raced over to ask which pint of peaches I had just touched. I showed her & she quickly removed that pint from the display. The other owner (assuming they were the owners) said "You can't touch the peaches. The peaches don't react well to being touched." Huh??? She continued "Our pints come with two ripe ready-to-eat peaches & two almost ripe. If you want a different assortment, let us know." At this point I wanted to just leave. What wackos!!! Don't the peaches get touched when they get picked? How do the peaches get into the pint? I guess those people have the special touch I apparently don't. Let's talk about uptight!!!! Out of pure guilt, we bought a pint of peaches. As we were paying they put out 2 peaches with napkins. "These are for the ride home." What they should have said was "take the peaches you just ruined for free - we don't want them". Needless to say I will NEVER EVER go back there again. Did it ever cross the minds of these over-the-top owners to put out a sign saying "please don't touch the fruit"? If not, maybe they should get out of retail. Clearly they are too emotional to actually sell what they soe. read more

I do not know how this place could have 3 stars. I read the one review that gave it one star. First of all, mentioning someone has a nose ring before condemning their behavior is off-putting. Nonetheless, I have encountered nothing but great things at Manoffs. The owner is so sweet and Debbie is extremely helpful. You can pick your own apples, strawberries, and other fruit dependent on the time of year, so call first. They also have a great garden, and there is this deal where they give you a cut-in-half water bottle filled with water, some garden scissors, and you can assort your own bouquet for ten dollars! Great deal for flowers, it is personal, and a sweet present to show someone you have been thinking of them. Great place! read more

I have been going to Manoffs for 20 years. I love the pick your own. My kids and I went there every spring and summer for Strawberries, Blueberries Raspberries and Peaches when they were little! There are no crowds and the fruit is very tasty. Now that my kids are grown I still go there for fruit picking. Excellent farm, great tasting fruit and the people there are very nice! Best peaches in Bucks County. I've searched and tried lots of local farms, but have yet to find any place as good as Manoffs. Excellent selection of Peach varities throughout the season. Peaches need to be harvested at just the right time, and they know this at Manoffs. You'll pay more here than at a grocery store, but the difference is taste/quality is amazing. read more

Not sure what the negatives are about. My husband and I live in Philly now, but lived in Solebury for 11 years. Manoff's was the best then and continues to be the best and we drive all the way from Philly to buy our produce here. Amy does have a sign requesting that one does not squeeze the peaches, and it is really not hard to see why. Who wants to have people bruising delicate fruit for others. For 14 years we have been buying our peaches, apples and berries here. They have the best quality and the best selection. They also have samples, so there is no reason to manhandle the fruit. Amy has never been anything but absolutely delightful and never, ever have we had attitude from her or from any of her employees. read more

My husband and I had been searching the area for a great farmers market. We were so excited when we found Manoff's.and even more excited when we were greeted by a sweet yellow Labrador with booties on his back feet. Unfortunately, we then were encountered by an employee with a nose ring who came out and scolded us for having our six month old puppy near her dog. She then told us NOT to bring the puppy in and walked away from us. We were SO disappointed by her behavior, which we have not found to be the case in any other market in Bucks County. We're the customer; it wasn't an unreasonable question. We'll go elsewhere (Solebury) next time. Actually while looking for the peach farm Solebury peach farm a few minutes from this establishment, we came across this fruit farm. Stopped in as we figured a peach is a peach. When we inquired as to the cost of the single peaches, the owner? Or a woman worker would not answer our question. She insisted to continuously push buying a basket only. We repeated we are looking to just buy a couple for now. In a very demining manner, said, well I'm telling you, it's cheaper by the basket. Everyone glanced her way since she kept pushing a basket a not just a couple. So, we left, of course. A very special place that we come to each year for their delicious, large variety of nectarines and peaches. Very hard working people who always say hello and give my kids a peach to eat in the garden by the swings. Swinging in the flower garden has been a ritual for us since they were tiny-now teens, they always ask to go each summer, even though it is a bit of a hike. Owners always welcoming, and very kind, even when my fast growing child sat on the seat of the swing and broke it several years ago. Good advice and samples about their produce - some customers do need to be told not to squeeze the peaches because they ruin and bruise them and they don't read the posted signs, but owners are always polite about it. Regarding the below comments, I would not expect to bring my dog into a food market-also, the lovely yellow lab is super friendly but quite on in years and does not need to be bothered by younger dogs.
