Beautiful grounds, nice people and a wonderful place to visit on a weekday afternoon! We brought our own seating but it didn't end up being necessary as there was plenty of seating and tables for us to use. I also loved that we could bring our dog! My reason for not giving 5 stars was my personal opinion of the wine, and the pricing (a little high IMO.) I would certainly return for the atmosphere, location and experience, but would maybe try the cocktails and spirits next time. read more

I was there last Saturday 11/27 with my boyfriend , place is cute and cozy , they even reserved a table for us indoors . I loved the fact that you can bring your own food and I also liked the very old decor , it makes the place super cozy . Their bathrooms are spotless clean and the hospitality is a 11/10 , very friendly and welcoming. The only think I was disappointed about it is that even tho we got a bottle and some other souvenirs, they made us buy the wine glasses . Highly, enjoyed the energy of this winery. Immediately, was greeted by one of the family members and she was extremely attentive. When you drive up to the Wycombe Vineyards it feels family owned. The daughter of the winemaker shared lots of information about the wines as well as the family history -- which was really helpful/nice! For $5, you can taste 7-8 wines and spirits (gin, whiskey, & rum). My favorite wine was the ruby port, sangria (she gave our group of 5 free samples of the frozen sangria), and dandelion. My favorite spirits are the rakia and white spiced rum. The experience was lovely! During our wine tasting, they offered this scrumptious olive dip (which I'm not the biggest fan of olives), bread, and homemade brownies. Yummy! I would love to visit again! This is a quaint little cute Place. We happened on this location as we were looking for something to do on a Saturday. It happened to be a fall festival. There were a few vendors and the musician. She was an added wonderful touch to the afternoon and was quite good. We decided to taste the Traminette wine. It was very citrus forward and very refreshing. We also opted for a flight and had a sampling of many very good wines with very generous pours. They were also offering wine slushies . All in all it was a good fun day with good wine. Stopped in at Wycombe Vineyards on a wine tasting tour of Bucks County. The property is beautiful. So quaint and charming like stepping into the past. Inside was a long bar for tastings and tables off to the side that you could reserve for a group. Wycombe is a family owned vineyard with most of them living on or near the property. Our pourer, Lindsey, gave us a run down of their history and noted that the wine lables are old family photos. Everyone was very welcoming. We had a Yelp check-in offer for a free wine tasting which included eight tastings of your choice, three of which included spirits. The gin was especially good. In fact of all the varietals we tried there was none I wouldn't have happily drank an entire bottle of. They also included bread with dipping oils and brownies to go with your tasting. Pretty awesome vineyard tucked away in Pennsylvania. Was taking a drive on this beautiful Saturday and decided to check it out. I was a little skeptical when I pulled up into a little cottage because I think I imagined "Napa style" vineyards but this was beautiful and cozy. Wine tastings are only $5 and you get to make 8 selections which is pretty amazing. There are also some munchies (bread, dipping oils and an amazing olive spread) included with the tasting which was nice. My favorite thing were the brownies which were made with a blood orange oil (also sold here). So good. The trick is to substitute the blood orange oil for vegetable oil in any brownie recipe. I can't wait to go home and try it. I wasn't a fan of the wines or any of the spirits but I loved this family-owned business, the price point of the items and of course the $5 tastings. I had a wonderful time at Wycombe with a large group of friends! We arrived at around 3 pm after going to Ross Mill Farm for a tour. We were warmly greeted by the bartender, who was personable and fun. She made several recommendations. The ambiance is great - it's cozy and mainly wooden on the inside with large communal tables. There are several patios to choose from outside. We opted to be outside, facing the vines, because it was a gorgeous day. We learned from other guests that they are also a stop on the bucks county wine tour, and they brought a bus. If taking one of the buses, please call the vineyard before so they can prepare for a large group! The one bartender still handled it amazingly! They also do not have food, but you can bring your own. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed the wine - I just didn't think bucks was a wine haven. I ended up buying two bottles of the dry Riesling. Wycombe has been my go to winery for many years. The Fraser family are wonderful people. They treat you like family. You will find a wine or more there that you will thoroughly enjoy. Volunteering in the fall harvesting the grapes is an ideal way to learn what goes into making your next bottle or more of their wide range of wine selection. Plus the lunch provided afterwards is delicious. Firepit Fridays with entertainment is one of my favorite events that they offer during the year. Mark your calendar and go visit the vineyard. This is a beautiful place with nice people. One of the fun events we've been going for the last several years are their harvests. The first time we went, we picked grapes from 9:30 till about 11:30 then we all went back to the main building and had an abundance of food, wine and fun people. Then the next few events they limited people wine till it was down to one glass. But there was always plenty of food. This time we stayed out a little longer because they wanted another half row done. When I got back there was only a cold, half raw sausage on a stale bun and some BBQ. When I went back up they said there was no more food but I did manage to grab 2 mini cupcakes There was no beer, and no food. This year they let little kids in to pick, most where annoying and distracting. Some where cute and just having fun In the past we've always purchased several bottles of wine and one to the distillery products which are unique. This year we left hungry disappointed and without any purchases. These harvests have been on a consistent downtrend. I can't really recommend them anymore. read more

I had this place bookmarked and was so happy that we decided to take a drive to philly since it was on the way. We got there very early around 1130am and the place was empty. At first the group i came with thought I had made a mistake and didn't understand why I wanted to check this place out. The minute we walked in I realized we were just early. Right away the guy behind the counter welcomed us and we started the wine tasting. He was very informative and funny. I wish I remember his name but I'm horrible with names. We got to try 8 wines for $5 which is an amazing deals. What I love the most was that not only we got to taste wines but some spirits. They do have complimentary spreads, dips and brownies. Everything was really good but my favorite was the olive spread. It was so delicious I brought some to take home. As we were doing our tasting people started arriving. They had plenty of light appetizers from fruits to cheeses. I would go back here just for the olive spread. It was so amazing. I could not stop eating it. One of our favorite local wineries. A beautiful early Fall day. We arrived around 130p for a tasting. They have a nice variety and a few offerings of the local grapes. In addition, about two years ago they began distilling spirits and offer two choices. Prices are still reasonable - $5 for a tasting of 8 wines. We had a few whites, reds and a couple of the spirits, I.e., gin and brandy. We typically prefer the whites to the reds in Bucks County but today there was a nice blend of Cab Franc and Chambourcin that we both enjoyed. We are not fans of Chambourcin as a varietal but the blend worked today. The gin was quite good. It had all the typical gin flavors plus licorice due to the star anise. It was also very smooth we thought. The pourers here are friendly and loquacious. We saw bird netting on the vines and it was explained to us that this season has been so moist that the indigenous insects that the birds usually eat are not around this season so they are eating the fruit. We learned that today was harvest day for some of the vines and the pickers had just finished up and there were many folks sitting around outside enjoying some wine after their efforts. This was such a quaint little family run oasis! It's a perfect socially distanced weekend activity. They had something for everyone - wine, beer, whiskey drinks, slushees (the sangria one was quite tasty) and warm apple cider. There was a catering tent with food for purchase (on this particular day it was a variety of hot dogs). Bring your own table and chairs (though they do have some there as well) and relax. What a fabulous hidden gem, this vineyard is defiantly off the beat path but worth a trip to. They also have spirits in addition to wine, a tasting includes trying any 8 items of your choice. I went 7 wines and 1 spirit and found a few things I liked. The taproom is pleasant and the staff was super informative they really know there products I learned a decent amount. Wines here remind me somewhat of young Burgundian/Alsatian vintages. Whites tend to be dry and light on the oaking. The riesling had a pronounced lime flavor to me with very little residual sugar. The naked-chardonnay was grassy and had a green apple notes to me. The regular chardonnay wasn't much different from the naked, but had some oaky vanilla notes added. The reds need just a little more complexity. All were good, but nothing outstanding. The chambourcin for example, was a one trick pony to me with cherry dominating the flavor profile. It did that well, but I wished for more. Relaxed atmosphere in the tasting room and the beauty of the property contribute to a fun laid back experience. Prices are very reasonable. If you are in the area a visit is certainly worth your time. read more

I had such a blast going to a wine tasting here last weekend ! I have always driven past this winery but never actually visited. I went for my friends' birthday and we did a wine tasting which was only $5. You got to choose from 8 of their wines which is such a steal! They also had some snacks to munch on including these delicious orange brownies and various breads with oils and spreads. I wasn't the biggest fan of a lot of their wines because they did mention that they make a lot more dry wines than other bucks county vineyards. If that is your jam than you'll definitely love it here. I did like a few though and the girl hosting our tasting was very knowledgeable and sweet. The whole place had a very homey feel between the interior , the staff and the outside patio. We got $5 wine slushees (SOOOO good) and had them on the patio. As well as a few other glasses. You'll also get $5 glasses of any of their wines which is a great deal! Most of their wines were very affordable as well , which I loved. I brought home a bottle of sangria because it was up my alley- sweet! I also loved their dog ! Their dog was just chilling on the patio with everyone and was so cute. This is a local, no-nonsense, honest-to-goodness winery with amazing wines and delightful staff. If you go on a Saturday make sure to ask for Shirley...she is so friendly and super helpful! Highly recommended! Update: Wycombe now carries other spirits in addition to wines. The only one I've tried is the Sator Square Rye Whiskey, and it was so delicious I felt compelled to buy a bottle. We were the first customers to the tasting room that day, so it was very private & cozy. It was also free tastings on Fridays! Nice perk. Being family owned, the staff was extremely knowledgeable of the history of the land & the wines. A father/daughter duo served us that day. They were very conversational & casual, which is 100% our preferred environment. They even gave nearby seasonal recommendations for additional stops (wineries, breweries & lunch options) in New Hope. We tried most of the reds on the menu, a few whites and even some of their unique spirits (made from wine grapes). The only bummer was they had no Cabernets (our favorite) this year due to weather affected crop from the previous year. Definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the area! read more

So I'm always looking for a new winery to go to. yelp guided me to Wycombe. After about a 25 min. Drive I passed the driveway due to a dark sign that can be easily missed. I pulled in a parked in the grass. The winery area is old wood buildings and a nice outdoor grass sitting area. I go inside and the tasting bar is very small so hope you get there before a big crowd. However for $5 you get 8 tastings and the wine is delicious. As you taste you are allowed to bread squares and dip which is very good at no cost. The young woman behind the counter was knowledgeable and pleasant. I selected a wine and proceeded outside. While there I was greeted by an overweight white Labrador "Molly" who was precious. She is actually the neighbors dog who comes for snacks and petting. Then goes home when the place closes. Too funny. All in all get there a little on the early side because at around 1pm on bridal parties start showing up for pictures and it gets a little crowded. For the looks, wine and nice people this is a winery to try. read more

One of the many locations along the Bucks County Wine Tour, we decided on this one based on its Yelp reviews alone. We were very happy we went! The wine is very good, there are free hors d'oeuvres to compliment the wine, and the venue is very nice as well. The staff are personable and love to engage in conversation. At the time we went they were selling a sangria smoothie which my girlfriend absolutely fell in love with (and i'll also say they were pretty good). The winery sells just the smoothie alone for $5 and you can enjoy it outside on a hot day - which we say many other people taking advantage of.
