Fat Cow Korean BBQ - Does this look like something you would like to put in your mouth?

Fat Cow Korean BBQ

Mixed feelings on food and service, but they finished strong for us. Inside is relatively nice,…read morethough their cooking surface is not my favorite style. I think these were electric, while I prefer live coal followed by gas flame. Initial impressions were very negative. They refused to give us water until our entire party had arrived. Several other missteps too, but that one was pretty upsetting because I was thirsty. By the end of the night, someone that seemed like the manager or owner was a lot more accommodating and personable. We tried almost everything. For the meats, the hanger steak was insanely good. Clear knock out. Next time, I would probably order like 10 of those and maybe 1 or 2 other items. Hanger steak was 9.5 out of 10. Next best items were prime brisket and pork jowl, which were pretty good like 8 out of 10. Everything else was mid or not good, but not terrible. The spicy pork was weirdly sweet and one of our least favorite items. The galbi was so chewy and also one of our least favorite. Sides were pretty good, so I'm glad they pay attention to those. We went on a night that was not so busy, so I think that probably helped with service. 2 hours seemed to be a good time limit because of how quickly everything was served. Ordering drinks was kind of annoying. Hard to explain, but it's unnecessarily complicated. You try to order, and it says no lol. Then ask server, and they enable it, and then you can order. But if you want to order again... no, and repeat the process lol. Honestly, it probably stopped us from ordering as much because after a couple rounds, we were like... "you know what? We're good. Not worth the hassle anymore." Anyway, we left the place feeling positive at the end of the meal, even though it didn't start out that way. That's why I'm giving 4 stars. I'm not surprised if folks rated it much lower though because I can easily imagine everything going sideways. Like if the manager/owner guy never intervened or if folks never ordered the best items and only tried the worst items.

During our visit, I found the food selection to be good, but not great, while the bulgogi was great, the sausage felt more like a hotdog, and the Ramen station is prepackaged Ramen cups. Our server was good, but we didn't really see her outside of dropping off foods we ordered through the touch screen. Also I found the induction grills to be a lot slower to cook the meat than the traditional gas grills at most Korean BBQ's. It also felt very much like a pizza place converted to another type of restaurant as almost nothing was changed from its previous incarnation. Overall I feel like Fat cow either needs to up the ambiance and food quality a little to justify the price, but it is nice having a Korean BBQ in Parker, and I expect we will visit on occasion.

Zero stars. Extortion. Oscar and Karina had me going back and forth to the front desk to here…read morelooking for my order multiple times. They shared often Amazon "says they dropped the item off, however steal the item by not really dropping off the order." I had called the hotel in advance to inquire if I could have items sent to the hotel. The hotel employee shared "people do it all of the time. They use Amazon, DoorDash and insta cart." Being that I am familiar with using Amazon I ordered water to come to the hotel and for it to arrive the day I would arrive. So this is when it all started... the front desk said Amazon orders end up at the business center with Fed Ex. So went to Fed Ex and they told me they didn't have the order and to check the front desk. I went back to the front desk and they checked in the back and then told me Fed Ex would most likely receive it, so I went back to Fed-Ex... (you get the picture) Karina had shared what I said above and I asked if they could please just go and look for it because it said it was delivered. After asking over and over she went to look for my package. While waiting, Oscar was interacting with customers in a condescending and sarcastic tone to them. People were leaving upset. Once Karina came back with my $14 case of water, she told me she weighed it and I need to pay $25 to receive my water. I told her that it was extortion and what was I paying for? She said "storage and handling". I explained no where did the hotel tell me that I would have to pay an additional amount to have an item delivered. Neither Oscar or Karina cared and it was either I paid $25 for my water or I couldn't take it. I get that they are just employees struggling to make a dime, however they did not care one bit. Karina shared she has told the hotel front desk multiple times that they need to tell guests that they charge the customers to pick up their items. So there I was stuck between a lack of training and consistency between the hotel and Fed ex business center within the hotel being extorted. I could have had a friend drive me to Walmart had I known. I travel a lot, and I have had items delivered to Marriott's before and NEVER had this problem.

Ask me why I am so unbelievably happy. Go ahead ask me…read more It's because I received not one, not two, but THREE separate phone calls from friends and family who had just opened our WEDDING INVITATIONS and LOVED THEM! My mother was one of these people, this type of phone call from mom is rare at best. Needless to say Scott and I are beyond thrilled. Working with Think Big Solutions, was the second best decision we have made in about 7 months! First off, Jessica Proctor is extremely professional and a delight to work with. Everything went as smooth as silk and even the slight changes we needed to make to our proof, via email, came off with no problem whatsoever. Jessica was completely able to work with our budget and helped us find the EXACTLY perfect paper, a felt based I think. It was literally and precisely what I had envisioned and went with the theme of the invites perfectly. She even showed us around the facility and all sorts of cool behind the scenes stuff! After a "not at all long wait" our invites were ready!!! Scott picked them up and when he brought them home I could not stop looking at them. We needed them scored, as they fold into 1/3s. Every single one was perfect. Then there is the color; vibrant, beautiful, bright and just about as good as it could get. I love them so very much. If anyone needs anything printed, and wants to be happy like me, go see Jessica at Think Big Solutions!

Not only was Think Big able to fill my order within 2 days, Jessica also volunteered to drive my stuff over to me on Friday. Yes, last Friday when we were having a serious blizzard. Add to that mix the fact that they were super affordable and I'd say you'd be crazy to not let them give you a quote on your next printing project needs. And, the most important fact, all my stuff looks great.
