I haven't been in this establishment but I had my coworker pick me up a wrap and it was delicious. I got the heartburn which is hot pastrami, corned beef and Cole slaw. They packed it with lots of meat *pause*. Expect to be full after eating this wrap. I'll definitely visit this deli when I get a chance. A local delicatessen in the area that has great breakfast, plenty of food options, and a friendly staff. They open very early in the morning and it's definitely one of my top spots to get breakfast in the area. There are lots of options for breakfast from wraps to sandwiches to platters, and even more options for lunch, both hot and cold! You can also get their pre-prepared foods for lunch/dinner as well. It's more of a grab and go spot and they make/package the food pretty quick. For breakfast, I usually get something with egg on a roll. Recently, I got the sausage egg and cheese on a roll. I was actually expecting it to be a sausage patty but it was sausage links cut up instead. It was a classic breakfast sandwich thatI very much enjoyed. I also got the hot pastrami and corned beef in a wrap (sandwich options available as well). Another solid choice. It was packed with meat and wrapped nicely, not overly salty either. Even if you aren't feeling one of the endless sandwich options, you can also just tell the staff what you want and how you want it, and they'll prepare it for you. This is my favorite deli in the neighborhood... they make great sandwiches, always friendly and efficient service... I love their penn dutch potato salad. I will say its is a little pricey... But when the craving hits, its worth it. They really stuff the sandwiches and give you your money's worth. Also, a medium sized iced coffee or iced drink is more like a jumbo xl. read more

Manor Deli unfortunately will no longer be my Deli of choice. Today, a blond Hispanic female exited the " kitchen area" with a broom in hand - she was now continually sweeping into the deli area. As she reached midway of the deli counter - she decided to help customers. That would include making sandwiches, using the serving spoons etc... However, she didn't feel she needed to WASH HER HANDS. Though she would be preparing food for customers. When she was asked politely in both English & in Spanish to wash her hands, she refused. She decided to cover her soiled hands with thin vinyl gloves. What makes it worse - in Spanish she spoke about the customer to the 2 Hispanic male workers - yet neither of them corrected her. She then prepared a meal for a customer who came in after Sadly - this is unacceptable on ALL LEVELS read more

Not impressed at all with the Italian hero I ordered from them. I asked for it sliced thin, no lettuce, no tomato. They did not slice my cold cuts thin at all. Actually, they were a little on the thick side in my opinion. The small amount of meat/ cheese on this $11 hero was comical. If this was my deli I would be embarrassed to serve this sandwich for $11. Love Manor Deli, been coming here for years for salads, wraps, and breakfast sandwiches. My favorite wraps are the murphy wrap and the wicked chicken. The murphy wrap has chicken, rice, bacon, cheese, hot sauce, and I always ask for a side of blue cheese...it's a bomb, but in the best way. The wicked chicken has chicken, pepperjack cheese, hot sauce, and blue cheese. I suppose it's like the murphy wrap's lighter option without the rice and bacon. Either way, there was a point in time where I worked on the same strip of stores as Manor deli and I'd find myself ordering once or twice a week. The guys in there are sweet and move quickly, despite it getting quite busy in here at lunchtime. I highly recommend their manor brew, it's their half iced-tea/half-lemonade. It saddens me to see negative reviews for this deli, it is a long island gem. I used to live in the area many moons ago. I made it back today for the first time in a long time. It certainly didn't dissapoint. The Meehan is as good of a sandwich as you will find anywhere with the chicken cutlets thinly sliced. The potato pancakes and knishes are to die for. It all tastes exactly as it did 10+ years ago when I first discovered this lovely little German deli. The iced tea and manor brew are both refreshing, give this place a shot. Just be warned that you may risk your life parking if you drive a small car. Everyone has SUVs and its downright scary backing out into oncoming traffic on Covert Ave. I remember that from my youth and got very aggravated today, some F bombs were dropped. I've been going to this place for several years (since grade school, Sewanhaka Class 2019!) and I've always had a good experience. Food is great and people WERE friendly. Today, February 19, 2022 at 1:50pm, I came in for my usual Murphy wrap and I was completely ignored for other customers. It wasn't busy. It was me and another guy. I wasn't asked what I wanted. But as soon as another "desirable" (aka white) customer came in, they were greeted like long time friends. At this point, I waiting for over 5 minutes and gave the worker the benefit of the doubt (MAYBE he was making such a complex orders that he simply IGNORED the Asian woman in the store). I have never experienced such blatant exclusion and at the time, I didn't know what to do. It saddens me that such a place that held great memories for me has changed so much. I'm still giving a good review due to those past memories. But businesses who rely on repeat customers should be more self-aware of the image you represent. Weird. Ordered 2 sandwiches, 1 had seeds when we asked for no seeds. Took about 15 minutes to make the sandwiches. The customer service was BAD. This is my go to hangover relief joint. $3 gets you a decent egg sandwich and either a large coffee, OJ or Lemonade or Iced tea (Go with the manor brew). The Manor Deli boasts a wide array of some very good homemade delicacies and entrees. Their sandwich selection is impressive but not overwhelming. They have a great variety of frozen entrees that are all homemade and very delicious.While I cannot vouch for many of the foodstuffs they prepare, I can tell you that the breakfast sandwiches, hash browns and coffee are all terrific! read more
