So while I was on Facebook, somebody complained about an Italian hero sandwich, and then people began commenting about Meacham Deli, And how amazing the Godfather sandwich is, do you know it's true when many people hit the "like" button .. decide to give this Belmont fixture a try and let me just say definitely met All and exceeded my expectations, very good staff. Doug and Anthony were very good, the hot food entrées. They only have during the summertime but that's fine. There's so many sandwiches that you can pick from, they let me say that everything here was stacked so much so that most people will not finish even one of their sandwiches, I suggest they do offer wraps, rather than rolls and hero,, I highly recommend the Terminator grilled cheese sandwich, it's more than just grilled cheese. They stack it with ham, and it's a meal within itself, obviously I had the godfather and I got it on an Italian hero and yes I was full after just Eating half the sandwich, my favorite overall was surprisingly the Sharon stone, it's barbecue chicken. I picked up breakfast early morning around 6/7. Ordered a BEC toasted, Homefries on the side and a large iced coffee. I thought there was no cheese on my Bacon egg and cheese sandwich.... There was actually, just not on the first half of the sandwich that I ate. As I ate the second half there was a small sliver of cheese on it at the end. Also the bacon tasted kinda off.. Probably the best American deli i have ever been to, and i have been to alot of deli's. A hero is big enough to split. Sure it costs a little more, but not much more., comparatively speeking. The staff is super friendly and the owner knows alot of people by name. If i bring lunch to work,and find myself near here during lunch, well my brown bag goes to the sea gulls and i get a ham or turkey with swiss.
