Every time I've brought something in to sell or trade, the number I get is laughable. This shop is a textbook example of "buy low, sell high," except they take it to an extreme that feels straight up disrespectful. I get it, it's a resell business, but when other stores in the area are paying fairly and treating people right, there's really no excuse for this kind of stingy, one-sided hustle. The owner, Wilson, barely looks you in the face. Always acting too cool to be bothered, but somehow never has anything valuable to say. His lack of effort and interest bleeds into the entire store experience. You walk in hoping for a decent deal and walk out feeling like you wasted your time. Plenty of better shops in the area that actually care about their customers and the culture. This place just cares about profit and not even in a clever way. Just skip Archive & Wilson.

From what I gathered, some are new and some are returned items to Nordstrom. Bought some Rothy's loafers for work for $38, some returned (very lightly used) Brooks Ghost 17 shoes for $52, and some $15 sneaks Nordstrom brand. Kids stuff was 1/2 off and bought some sweaters half off, too. Left spending quite a bit but probably bought 15 items for $173. Would definitely return. I recommend the rolling carts and not the shopping carts. Can be cramped to get down aisles. Maybe a reusable IKEA bag would be a good option, too. Wish they had more skincare and housewares.

King & Duck carries gear from 10 Deep, Crooks & Castles, The Hundreds, ALIFE, Stussy, etc. They don't have the world's best selection, but it's more than you'll find elsewhere in this town. It helps that the dudes running the show aren't snotty douchebags, either. I actually got a smile and a hello when I walked in coupled with a genuine "thanks for coming" when I left with my purchase. Both more than I ever received at any dime a dozen boutique in LA and elsewhere.
